I called everywhere but the only one to reply immediately was Anthony from Irish Construction. If I could give an A+ I would. They came out with a couple hours and competed the work on the same night. The next day they came back out for final touch ups and now my old, cracked front patio now looks brand new. Fantastic job!

+ 1 moreAnthony and his crew did an excellent job. Indoor plaster repair looks great and they even clean up well after they are done. I have a large set of brick steps that were falling apart and they did a great job tuckpointing and repairing them. He repaired a set of concrete steps for me and they now look brand new. Anthony also noticed a few other masonry things in need of repair while working around the house and he fixed them for no extra charge. Price was very reasonable too. I know I could have probably paid slightly less for the work, but doubt I would have gotten this type of quality. Would highly recommend Irish Construction and I will be using them again for some work I will likely need done in the next 2 years.

Anthony and his crew transformed our front porch.... making its appearance 1000x better. But more importantly as they got into the job and discovered that more work and materials would be needed, they continued on and completed the task as per the bid price and did not ask for additional monies. This company stands by there word and professionalism. we will be looking for them to additional work in the near future.

+ 0 moreThe fellow came out and gave a bid just like normal. He seemed reasonable and emailed the bid over a few days later. I have been getting several bids for this job and had not decided on a contractor yet and hadn't signed a contract yet. These guys called me out of the blue one day saying that they were starting the job and demanded upfront payment that morning! I told them I had not yet accepted any bids or contracts for the work. Nothing was signed or accepted. They proceeded to call me several times and cuss me out calling me every name in the book. This is a very unprofessional business, and I am actually afraid that they might come and vandalize my property. I am having other jobs contracted inside the house and had to warn the other contractors to be wary of this group.

+ 1 moreEverything was done by the time I got back, cleaned up, so happy to have 1 less thing to worry about. And the price was literally half of what I was quoted before, which I thought was an exorbitant estimate. Plus the fact that this was a business in my community is always an appeal.
Description of Work: I called them as a second estimate for spot tuckpointing. They were working in the neighborhood and came over quickly. We did a walk around the house to see what needed to be done. Thereafter the owner quoted a price and even more said if I wanted they could do it the same day. Since his estimate was well below the other one I'd received, and since out Nextdoor neighbors had been usung them for years, I hired them to do the work.

+ 0 moreDue to a cancellation, he started the next morning (less than 24 hours after talking to me!) promptly at 8:00 AM, just as he said he would. After coating the walls with a bonding adhesive, he and his crew proceeded to repair the holes and texture the walls. They also did a nice job of tuckpointing the corner of our house. They finished shortly before noon after spending probably 1/4 of their time cleaning up (plastering is a messy business!) After removing their drop cloths, they swept and washed the floors and washed the baseboards. The workers were polite (asked to use the restroom, left NO cigarette butts in my yard). My only complaint is that, even after the cleaning they did, I still found lots of plaster splatters around - under the closet door, around a door hinge, on the door knobs, etc.
Description of Work: We had a problem - several actually. My husband and I had started scraping our front hallway in preparation for repainting, and, although we knew we had several small holes and some peeling paint (the paint was peeling because a previous owner had removed wallpaper but didn't wash off the wallpaper adhesive!), we didn't realize how bad the walls were until we tried to sand down the edges where we had scraped away paint. There was NO WAY that we could make the walls smooth. I started calling plasterers the next morning to see what could be done. Tony (the owner of Irish Construction) was able to come over within about 1/2 hour of my call, and he suggested that the only way to repair the walls in a way that would last would be to put a sand finish (which is a textured finish) on the walls. A smooth finish would be likely to pop off the walls just as the paint had been doing.

+ 0 moreIrish did the work the day after Tony looked at it. Irish Const. replaced some missing/rotted wood that was discovered without extra cost. The stucco patch looks great and he matched the stucco texture very closely! They tuck-pointed the areas discussed (and maybe more).
Description of Work: We removed a door and replaced it with a window, so we needed area not covered with the smaller window patched with stucco. We had it framed with plywood and "tyvek" installed. We also needed some tuck-pointing on the foundation.
