Description of Work: Rude, manipulative, poor quality.

Description of Work: Once again it was confirmed that I chose the right company to do needed repairs at my home. I hired Irish Construction two years ago to repair my front stoop, stairs, and sidewalk; as well as some spot tuck pointing on my chimney. Due to a particularly harsh winter, some problems developed on the concrete repairs with the steps and sidewalk. This was a year after the work was done. After I called and reported this to them, someone was quickly sent out to my house to fix the problems and it looked great again. I was pleased that they stood by their work without question. Then another year passed and we had another harsh winter. There were some problems again with some cracking and flaking. I called Irish construction again and explained the problem. Once again they sent some men to my house without question. Today, two men were here and re-did the entire area for me. You should particularly note that two years have passed and they cheerfully did the work so that it looks like new. The men were very friendly and eager to please. They took the time and showed that they wanted to address any concerns I had and to make sure that I was satisfied. This is a company that stands by their work. I would recommend them to any of my family or friends. In fact, I related this story to one of my friends after they left and my friend wanted their phone number so he could hire them for some repairs he plans to have done soon. He said he had always heard that Irishmen were hard workers and I said that's what I have been shown by this company. I would definitely hire them again. I'm convinced that if you want some work done right by people who will stand by their work without question you should hire an Irishman!

Description of Work: Prep work for paint work as well as minor repirs

Description of Work: leveled out a step and patio square, repaired crack in sidewalk and crack along retaining wall along steps to basement. |Quick repsonse, lowest quote, and was able to get an appointment the next day. Crew was quick and courteous, complaints only being that they took over our neighbor's yard with their equipment and left their hose running, over saturating their yard. I think they might have been trying to move along too quickly to pay much attention to running hoses, flowers they were stepping on and an adequate clean up. Work was done well though. Had some heavy rain later that night that cracked an area that wasn't completely dried. Was told they would repair it but still waiting. Gabrielle, the receptionist is so kind and willing to help!

Description of Work: This guy's approach was "tell me how much the other bids were and I'll give you a lower price" but his price was so much lower and the bid was 2 sentences....no details as to material to be used, etc. etc.... that I'd be concerned about what I would get if I used him. Plus, he said he'd had "a cancellation" and could do the work the next day...called me 3-4 times, and was also available the day after that. The other contractors I've talked to have been backed up due to rain, so how come this guy is so available???

Description of Work: Filled in mortar on small section of exterior wall and tuck pointed and repaired mortar on corner of the house.

Description of Work: My front porch was cracking and pulling away from the foundation. They came out, informed me of what they would need to do, the steps that were involved, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. They did have to come back and resurface a 2nd time. I did recommend them to my neighbor but they didn't return her calls.

Description of Work: They fixed several cracked steps and resurfaced the entirety of my front steps and porch. The work went well and the folks working at Irish Construction are great to work with: punctual, professional, helpful . . . . I would hire them again.

Description of Work: Irish came out to assess my damaged walkway. He shot me straight and told me that it was not his area of expertise. He gave me references, told me he could repair it, but it was not the right thing to do because it would need repair again next spring. It needed to be redone and that was not the type of work that he did. I appreciated the honesty and promptness of his company.

Description of Work: Tony and his team showed up promptly, completed the job as negotiated, and were courteous, professional and very tidy. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with their work and will use them again!

Description of Work: There was a problem with the fabulous front porch restoration ......obviously just a proportion problem on the sand/concrete ratio mix. I called the company and they were out that very day. The owner of the company as well as the artisan that did the job originally. I cannot tell you how WONDERFUL they both were and how polite and helpful . Work was started and the entire porch and steps were done again and looked awesome and is perfect. Talk about professionals and how dedicated to their craft. I could not say enough good things about them. They did not send me a bill and the man who did the work did so way until nightfall. Description of Work: Tuckpointing of brick garage. Decent price, excellent work, expeditiously done.

Description of Work: We had a hole in our dinning room wall that had to be fixed perfectly because we use that room to entertain on the weekends. They did such a splendid job you would never have known there was a hole unless we told you. Also we have had other laborers in our home in the past that left a huge mess behind or did a mediocre job of cleaning. Not so with Irish Construction they had our home cleaner than it was before they had came, I was thoroughly impressed by there want to make sure my wife and I where very happy with their work. Also while they where there they fixed about ten more little nix and holes we had in other parts of our home. We also had a new marble patio put in that looks better than i could have ever imagined. They are real professionals at Irish Construction as well as nice people. They also did some tuckpointing around our front door that was in need of some TLC and Irish Construction made it look brand new again. To sum up Irish Construction I would say Professional, Clean, Pleasant, Affordable. I would recommend them to anyone and they are always welcome back to our home.

Description of Work: Had approximately 4 foot x 2 foot hole in bedroom plaster wall made by plumber for access. Tony showed up on time, plastered the hole, drying currently but looks very nice.I would use Irish again.
