+ -1 moreI found Hyperion via Angie's List after two other glass companies failed to respond. They responded immediately, set an appointment a couple days later, showed up on time, gave the bid within a day, and show up on time on the day of the job. Their demeanor was professional and the price was fair. There was a minor (common) mistake during the install. The guys noticed it and immediacy agreed to take corrective action. They came back the next day and made a flawless install. Once again, on time...friendly...professional. I have worked with a few glass companies over the last 20 years. These guys were significantly more receptive, professional, friendly, and focused on the task. I will use them again in the near future for more jobs.
Description of Work: Remove glass from front and side doors and install a more modern and efficient glass system.

He removed all of the broken glass, took measurements and told me it would take 3-4 days for the tempered glass to come in. 4 days later he called, arrived within 10 minutes and put in the new glass.

+ -1 moreI had an estimate from a different service provider that I though was very high. So high that I was going to live with the cracked window. However, when I called Hyperion and gave them the window sash size, they provided a very reasonable estimate. That same day I dropped the window sash off at their shop. They replaced the cracked glass. The repaired window sash looks as good as new. The window was ready less than 24 hours after I dropped it off. The final price was a bit less than the original estimate. I took the repaired window home and reinstalled it with no problems. I can't imagine how this could have gone better. Hyperion made me very happy.

+ 0 moreIn August 2015 we found Hyperion Glass on Angie's List and called them to replace a low-E tempered argon trapezoid window located approximately 2 1/2 stories up on our home. The young men who came to our home were clean-cut, polite, mannerly plus (and most important!) they knew what they were doing. We showed them the window that needed replacing, they got their ladders, measured the window and gave us a price to replace the unit. We said OK, what kind of deposit do you need? They said a hand-shake would do. Approximately 2 weeks later they called to set up an appointment. They came, worked together, one on the inside and one on the outside (the height had something to do with this) -- removed the glass, installed the new unit, cleaned up and they were done. We would definitely recommend Hyperion Glass. These two men started this business about four or so years ago after working installing glass each for over 10 years prior to going out on their own. These fellows know what they are doing, are fair with their pricing and are conscientious. Just can't say enough good things abut this company.

+ 0 moreThe window pane had been previously replaced a few years earlier by a different company, and had recently started leaking around the edges during heavy rain or snow. I called Hyperion to give me an estimate on replacing it. They came out, checked out the window, and took measurements. They sent an email that night with their estimate. The window wasn't a standard size so they had to order the replacement, which took about 2 weeks. Once they had the replacement window they were able to come out two days later for the install. Everything went smoothly and the new window looks great. Everyone I spoke to was very professional and courteous. I would definitely use them again.

+ -1 moreI was referred to Hyperion Glass by a friend who had used them before. I called them after a large window shattered on the back of my house. They came out quickly, measured and explained the scope of the work. Within a few days they were back out to replace the broken glass. They were on time, professional, and most of all honest. It was very clear to me that the owners of this company want to do things the right way. Within a week or two of the first repair I had another issue with a shower door and called to get some guidance, even though it was a very simple task, Hyperion came right out and addressed the issue for me again. I believe most companies would have thought it was not worth the trip. I have already referred Hyperion to other friends and family following my experience. I couldn't give them a higher recommendation than that.

+ 0 moreEverything went great from my initial phone call to the installation. I spoke with Paul on the phone and he came out and gave me a quote. He is a very nice person and gave me a great quote! I had three other quotes from different companies and his was the best. It was half the price quoted to me by two other companies, and he guarantees his product with a fully transferable lifetime seal warranty. Paul and Amy came out to do the installation and that all went very well. It was a very difficult area to access and the glass units are very large and heavy. Luckily they were able to set up a ladder on the outside deck and one inside. It was amazing what they were able to do. And they were very neat and a complete pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Hyperion glass. As a matter of fact, another window company who does complete window installations, not just glass, recommended them to us. I am so glad they thought so highly of them gave us the name and phone number!
Description of Work: They took out two old glass atrium units, one that was fogged up and another that had lost it's insulating properties and replaced them with two low-E glass insulated units.

+ -1 moreREMOVAL and INSTALLATION WENT WELL. They did a very professional job working with a stubborn older door frame. workmanship was tidy and precise. Installers were friendly and pleasant to have in our home.
Description of Work: They carefully & expertly replaced glass in in our sliding door which was fogging due to a moisture seal problem. It was an original door to the house and was no longer as square as it needed to be making the removal more challenging. The installers did a beautiful job of patiently coaxing the old frame back into square & installing new glass. I t looks great and we are again able to enjoy a fog free view of the outdoors.

+ -1 moreEverything went better than I could have imagined. They came ahead of time to evaluate the seal failure: Yes, it had failed. Yes, they could do it. Yes they would do a great job...and all turned out to be true. In fact, twice they refused the glass from the supplier because it had flaws of one type or another. Install day came and they arrived exactly on time, in their matching company shirts, a casually professional touch. All three men were very friendly and were happy to engage in conversation about the uniqueness of my home. They were super careful, got it done in less time then they had estimated and left everything perfectly clean inside and outside. And they made sure there was no a spot or blotch on that glass. They said they couldn't promise it would stay clean (ha ha ha) but they wanted it perfect when they left. Hyperion is the best and I recommend them 110, no make that 120%.

At home, I took out the mirrors but couldn't find any frames locally with similar glass sizes to switch the glass with. A friend told me about Hyperion Glass Co., and so I gave them a call regarding my needs. Even though I did this project on a lark and had no clue if it would work, the guys at Hyperion Glass were completely willing to work with me on my project. I dropped off my mirror frames and within a few days I received a quote via e-mail. The price was very reasonable, especially given the size of the mirror frames. The turn around on the cut glass was quick and the guys at Hyperion Glass Co. even dropped the frames off at my house when they were done! What service!!! They look great and are now up in my master bedroom. Thanks Hyperion Glass Co for the fantastic work and excellent customer service!
