Description of Work: Ordered some new landscaping and lawn installed, They were prompt and on time. By fall had lost several plants, called repeatedly with no response. Had to send a letter. Was told it was too late in the season, although it was the same season and time, as they originally planted. They finally came out in the spring last year. Plants did not do well. Will have to start from scratch this year with another landscaper.

Description of Work: Horstmann Brothers supply the maintance and new plantings for our sub-division. They have been doing this for several years and we are always happy with their work. We do have a bidding process each year but for the last few years we have stayed with Horstmann Brothers. We are very happy with their work.

Description of Work: I called Horstmann in the second week of November regarding leaf removal. He said he'd be out and give me an estimate. He was very nice and polite, but he never showed up. Approx. November 19th I was able to use another company who was doing a neighbors yard. On the 23rd Horstmann called to apologize for not getting to me and I told him the work was done. I asked again if he'd give me an estimate on leaf removal, and also mowing and snow removal. He said he'd be out to give me an estimate. Today is December 5th and I have yet to hear from him. I will not consider Horstmann again because I doubt the reliability of them performing in a timely manner, and, of course, nearly a month following my first contact I still don't have an estimate. If they are too busy to accommodate new customers, they should just say so.

Description of Work: They installed a transformer and low voltage landscaping lights around our house and yard.

MY DAUGHTER WAS MARRIED LAST MAY, AND JEFF MADE SURE TO SCHEDULE MY WORK SO THAT MY YARD WAS PLANTED WITH ANNUALS, BUSHES TRIMMED, BEDS NEAT AND BEAUTIFUL FOR THE OCCASION. I MUST ADD THAT HE MAKES SURE MY YARD LOOKS GREAT, THROUGH OUT THE YEAR, EVEN WHEN THERE IS NOT A WEDDING!

ALWAYS PROMPT TO ANSWER CALLS AND PROVIDE AMPLE INFORMATION. A TRUE PLEASURE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. I AM SURE THAT I COULD HAVE FOUND A LESS EXPENSIVE COMPANY, BUT THERE WAS NEVER A MOMENT OF DOUBT WITH DOMIEN.
Description of Work: MET WITH ME TO DISCUSS IDEAS, PRICE RANGE, ETC. DOMIEN MEERT DREW UP LANDSCAPING PLANS, MET WITH ME SEVERAL TIMES TO DISCUSS AND ALTER THOSE PLANS. HE ALSO BROUGHT PICTURES OF THE PROPOSED PLANTS. THEY TORE OUT HUGE TREES, MANY SHRUBS AND BUSHES (ENOUGH TO FILL 2 1/2 HUGE TRAILERS) THEN PREPARED THE SOIL AND REPLANTED NEW SHRUBS AND PLANTS.
