I've used them for years and they always do a great job!

Their estimate was very high. He was extremely professional. We're not going to stay in our house for a whole lot longer and he gave us a bid for redoing the whole system for like $30,000. It was way too much.

Reenforced platform in utility closetand installed new water heater. Reasonably priced and professional installation. Also helpful In giving advice on how enlarge the door in order to install new heater. Sent someone out to check it out at no additional charge.

They did what I wanted them to do. They did good with what I asked them to do. Interaction was fine.

The service was OK. The workers were excellent. They were on-time for everything. I would tell a friend that they do good work, but they are a bit a pricey.

I have been using the company since 2011. The have even sent me cards in the mail to thank me for being a customer. They also consider me a preferred customer and have waved my service call fees the last 2 times they were out which I really appreciate. I have had them out on weekends for service and there has been no additional charge for a weekend service call. The plumbers are very nice and personable. They go out of their way to help me and make sure my plumbing issues are resolved. It is very easy to schedule a service for whenever I need.

The job went quite well. He was very professional and explained why we were hearing the banging and clanging in our pipes and explained why we needed the new valve. He did all the necessary tests beforehand to make sure the new valve would be the solution. We would definitely use Rivers Plumbing again. We had used Rivers in the past to install a new water softener and were pleased with the service and that's why we called thema again.

It was an emergency, after hours call, and they handled everything very quickly, and handled everything very professionally, and did not try to sell me any other services after that. The responsiveness stood out. I have recommended them several times. I am using them again tomorrow morning.

The last thing you want when your water heater goes out is to not hear back from the people you're basically ready and willing to give your hard-earned money to to perform a basic service.

Joe at Rivers plumbing was great. He gave us the lowdown on how the process worked, and installed our new cooktop with ease. My only qualm is that the customer service staff at the office was very new (as told to me by them) and they rescheduled our appointment a few times. Our appointment was supposed to be between 2pm and 4pm, and we had not heard from anyone by 6pm, so I called. I was told that it was "getting pretty late" and we would have to reschedule, but they couldnt give me a time. On the actual day service was performed, the appointment was supposed to be between 12-2pm, and at 12 they said they would be late. I advised that this was the 3rd reschedule attempt and I needed the work done immediately. They obliged and had Joe at my house within an hour. Joe the plumber did GREAT work, the office should take some pointers from him.

Had a Angie's List coupon for $49 for 2 hr. work and service call. Once service man arrived, I showed him the 3 new faucets I wanted replaced and gave him the new ones to do the work. He began looking things over and then announced that we needed new pipes. and quoted us $1700 for the total job. We about had a heart attack. My husband and I are Seniors and he is disabled and unable to do all of these little jobs around the house, that he use to do. We should have said NO, but needed the faucets done. Service man left and went to Home Depot and bought what item he felt he needed, and returned and did the work. Was here approx. 6 hours to complete the job (including the drive time for him to get the new pipes). This job ran $300 an hour. He did clean up after him self.. left no mess. Later in the year we needed the hall bathroom sink/cabinet replaced and found that the "new" pipe under the sink had been cracked when it was installed and had been leaking since Rivers Plumbing had installed it, and had to have another new pipe installed. We feel totally taken advantage of during a bad situation by Rivers Plumbing. Would not recommend this company to anyone, unless money doesn't matter and you want poor workmanship.

From the sales process through completion of project the staff was punctual, professional, polite and very tidy. They were also a joy to have in our house for 4 days. They earned every penny. Not the least expensive but I knew that when I called. If you want it done right I recommend these guys

It went very well. I couldn't remove the fixture myself because the screw was bent inside. I tried to break the plastic teardrop and couldn't even crack it. The tech was very quick and very efficient. He had it all removed in under 10 minutes. The tech was very professional and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

I have been using the company for about 5 year. The staff is very professional. They do a fantastic job. Our heat went out completely one time and they made sure we were not without heat. They go above and beyond for their customers. If you are on their preferred customer list you are top priority and get taken care of right away. I believe that is true for those who are not, as well. They will do everything they can to make sure your needs are taken care of. They are very responsive and an provide an amazing service.

The reason why I used them is because they are very good at heating and cooling system. At that time, the heating and cooling was very difficult in this area. They have true expertise in that area. They have guys in their staff and they are very good at that. They were a little expensive but then again they were the only I knew who could do the work as far as I know. They were always right on time.

Office staff very polite and were able to provide me with a same day appointment. However, the office staff said they do not have any prices on any services but it would only cost me $19.95 for the service call if I didn't pick them. Later that day, The office called to say that the tech would be at my home in about 30 minutes. He arrived 45 later. It cost me $120 for him to remove a portion of the ceiling to tell me the shower drain was leaking which I knew. Without really looking further into it, he said he would want to replace the drain with a different style drain but he would have to remove a significant amount of ceiling in another portion of the kitchen to do so - and even at that he might not be able to do that. I agree this style drain would have been the ideal solution; however, given the space constraints was not practical. He then said if he could not get his wrench in the area to put in the drain he suggested after removing a significant portion of my kitchen ceiling, that I would have to replace the entire shower stall and applicable plumbing. This was without having removed the drain cover in the affected shower stall upstairs. I texted my neighbor who had the same issue repaired on their shower stall. I told him what they had done and that I was not in the financial situation to put in a $6000 shower stall to fix a leaking drain. He then said that he was sure I had a cup drain and that he would get a new seal to replace the one that was in there - if he could find it. While he would recommend a flex drain, since it would be a significant construction project to do that, he would try that solution first. The next day he returned unable to find the correct one (he said that threads did not match) so ended up reusing the one had in there. I forgot to mention my handyman had attempted the repair in the spring and it had started leaking again. So my handyman had managed to find the right part with no problem at Lowes which I had told him the day before. He did not go to Lowes but a plumbing supply store - even though the day prior he said he would go to the supply store first and then to Lowes if needed. The issue was my handyman had not installed the part correctly - the tech came and showed me the part which looked pretty new which was to be expected. But it had no plumbers tape or silicone caulk to seal it into the drain and had not been tightened fully down. It cost me $285 for him to reuse my current part, seal and caulk the drain. Because he "couldn't find the part" and reused the one that I had in there for about six months, he wrote no warranty on the receipt when the job was done. I did decide to go forward with them even though I was uncomfortable with the tech initial recommendation to replace the whole stall for a leaking drain. I did this primarily because they had already charged me $120 to remove a portion of the ceiling. I figured I would be in about the same spot with another company and since I just got home from the hospital just wanted the job done. I also saw they had no unresolved complaints on the BBB and a friend said she had used them. While she felt they were over priced their work was good. I would not recommend them because I found them to be overpriced and dishonest and that is why I rate them an F. However, had I not done a little research and spoken to my neighbor also to know what the issue actually was and the type of drain, I would not have had a leg to stand on in telling him I was not replacing the entire shower for a leaking drain. I felt that was very dishonest and a ploy to up the cost of my ticket. I also saw on their web site they were a 2011 Angie's List Super Service Award winner. However, when I searched for them by name and phone number, they did not come up anywhere on Angie's List.

They are reliable. They have 24 hour service. They are very professional. They do right by their customers.

I had them out to give me an estimate -- I've got a leak in my ceiling in my 2 story home and we wanted to see where it was coming from. No work has been done yet; they said that my Big Deal would go towards fixing that issue.

I'm not sure if they know the true reason why all my plumbing periphreals are leaking or not. I've had other plumbers out since the original issue. However, it all works fine with no problems at this point.

We use them all the time and everybody they have sent over here has been wonderful. They are reliable and we are using them. I did have one complaint when they put our boiler in because they had to drill through the brick wall and they did not tell me that all of the red dust would go all over the basement. I had not covered anything and I had red dust everywhere. But on the whole it was just some guy doing it who did not think like a woman, because he did not have to clean it up. Otherwise they really are very good.

We use them all the time. Every year they come in the spring to check the air conditioner and in the winter to check our boiler. In fact, they put a new boiler in and a new air conditioner in. We do a monthly thing with them. We pay a certain amount each month and then so much per year. They debit us every month and we get premier service. If something goes out, like an air conditioner, we can call and if they are busy we just say we pay them every month and they say they will get someone out here. I have had no issues since their last service.

We've worked with Hoffmann Brothers before and were happy with our experience, but for such a big project they exceeded our expectations. Robert presented several options to us to solve our heating and cooling problems, but also provided his guidance/expertise on achieving the best results while maintaining the character of an old house. We were told the project would take 2 1/2 weeks to complete, but the team finished in less than 2 weeks. Better yet, we had A/C on our main floor in 3 days! Kyle and Cody were very professional, arriving on time, providing daily goals and recaps and willing to answer any question. They always delivered on what they said they would and mostly ahead of schedule. They also listened to our preferences and made adjustments when requested. We like the placement of the ducts and the units - both look professional and like they were built with the house.

Service was great. Plumber offered to replace the hardware himself and was fine that I would do it myself with a faucet I had already purchased, explaining that I called him to make sure I did not have any other problem with the hot water line that the replacement would not fix. He also gave honest plumber insider opinion of the various manufacturer reliability and preferences for the plumbing hardware. I was very appreciative.

The service from beginning to end was excellent. An Extremely professional and knowledgable team worked with us. The salesman (Nick) finance assistant and technicians that completed the job were exceptional. We especially appreciated the professional and expert work completed by Keith and Chris. They worked around the clock to make our system work perfectly and explained the details of a rather complicated job. They took the time to check and re check each step. They also worked in a clean and respectful manner in our home. Highly recommend these guys!
