Description of Work: Installed a 1st floor high efficiency complete comfort system to replace existing low efficiency system. Went great and the county inspection of it went great as well.

Description of Work: Installed American Standard HVAC system. I chose them because of the high ratings for the brand, and I was able to get 0% financing. |The salesman and installation crew were very professional and friendly. The installation crew arrived about 1 hour later than what was planned because there was a company-wide staff meeting that morning. However, they stayed late to complete the entire job in one day (benefit to me, since I had only planned to take off one day from work). I enjoyed working with this company.

Description of Work: This company has merged with Hofmann Brothers but i had the same person and they honored the estimate that was given to me. The service guy Glenn was very professional and explained in detail the work he performed. I had a stack, shut off valve and two toilets replaced. It only took two days to complete the job. Job well done and i will definitely use them again!

Description of Work: Great service. Used them for Hvac, service and repair. Only reason I no longer use them is price. Repair prices and the service contracts are more expensive than other highly rated companies.

Description of Work: Sent an email to Hoffman Bros Jan 12th via Angies List to get service, no response. Phoned Jan 13th and left message, no response. Sent email on Hoffman Bros website on Jan 14th, got reponse within 10 min. Scheduled visit on Jan 15th. Got call at 11:30am on 15th that serviceman was on way. At 12 Noon Mike showed up and got to work. Went thru heat pump system and checked things and determined that a new dual run heat capasitor was needed. Had one in stock in van and replaced. Mike left at 1:00 pm. Heat pump is working correctly and Mike did a professional job. | |I will now only use Hoffman Bros in emergency situations. There was a $95 service charge up front. So for parts and one hour of labor it cost $335 I used a $25 Angies list coupon and the final cost was $410. The reason for the rating on price is that I checked the price of the capasitor online and it runs $15 before shipping. This means the labor ran about $300 per hour, which I felt was high.

Description of Work: Installed new 19 SEER cooling unit. The poor sales tech looked exhausted, but stuck with it to get the kind of unit I wanted. Installers were very courteous and got the job done well and cleaned afterward.
