My experience wasnt positive. Prices were very pricey. I decided not to have work completed after I purchase the big deal from angies list. Garbage Disposal was out and the tech who came out was very friendly. However, he quoted me (more than 450.00) to replace the unit since it was not working. That night I remembered the old allen wrench trick to see if I could start it. It fired right up. So that would be 400 down the drain. Prices to replace a faucet were in the 350 range. So that is 60.00 from lowes for a faucet plus 290 for labor. I will keep looking.

Mr. Roy was very friendly and professional. He really knows his stuff and tried a less expensive fix first, and then had to go for the other when it didn't work. I appreciated been trying to save me some money. I don't know what other companies charge so this may be a good price.

Spent almost 3hrs searching for the leak with the plumber. We finally gave up and decided to wait a few days. Meanwhile the plumber was going to talk to his colleagues about other ideas to find the source. Eventually, I located the leak on my own and fixed the issue. I contacted Rivers about getting some money back and they did return some of the service fee and also gave me a free service plan for future work.

He arrived on time and was very polite and professional. Took out old sump pump and showed me condition of pump etc. Told me how much it would cost upfront and showed me the new sump pump that he was installing. After installation he told me all about the pump and how it worked. Ran a pipe away from the house and explained that to me as well. Went very well, definitely did a good job!

Work was done at a very high price.

Come on time and performed the service and was very nice. I would definitely hire them again. He seemed very knowledgeable.

I called River Plumbing and a real person promptly answered the phone (2 bonus points right there!). I explained the situation and person on the phone was able to schedule a technician to arrive in a few hours while still on the phone. She knew we wanted it fixed ASAP and called back a few minutes later to let me know a plumber could be there within the hour if that was OK. Deon arrived 45 minutes later and jumped right in. He was polite, kept the house clean of any dirt / debris and did a great job. He fixed the toilet for us and gave me some good advice on other questions/concerns regarding our plumbing. He was also very polite and considerate of the fact that my wife and daughter were home. Would definitely like to have Deon do more work for us in the future. My only complaint is their pricing method. The initial quote was completely unacceptable and after a brief discussion the price came down considerably. The $350 was still very high considering the work done, but we needed it done quickly and was a bit over a barrel. Obviously the prices are set abnormally high or the price would not have come down so easily. Deon was just passing on company policy, so not his fault. Good plumbers are hard to find so I will probably use River again, but get their pricing understood before they walk in the door.

My toilet was constantly running, so I used the Big Deal coupon to have Rivers Plumbing come out. I ended up paying $200.00 for installation of a $9.00 part. I complained, and was told that this was the cost of doing business. I will not use them again.

I really enjoyed working with them and found them to be very competent and knowledgeable. Furthermore, I appreciate that they took the time to answer all of my plumbing questions. They have also been very responsive to any issues we have had since the initial inspection.

The job itself took all day but he was thorough. As the old water heater was over 20 years old, there were some new requirements which had to be added. Ross did a fine job. I also was able to get a 2d year service agreement FREE - option 2 as an Angie's List member.

Michael come out around 10:15am. The time that he gave me to come out was between 10am-1pm. Performed a home inspection and the above items were what he found that needed to be taken care of.

Appointment at 8:30, arrived at 9:00. They said office didn't tell them that this service required. They did house inspection and left to get the camera. They did the camera pipe inspection while we watched and gave us a DV of inspection. I had to recall them because they did not reconnect the trap in the bathroom from inspection. They returned and fixed the problem.

We noticed a problem in sink in powder room. Called Angie's List, got Rivers Plumbing, they came over, fixed that problem and second problem in another room-very satisfied with results.

Took charge of the issues. He knew what was needed before I did. Went over and beyond need.

Very well. It took all day, which was inconvenient with the water being off. Was neat and cleaned up afterward.

He cleaned up after himself. He did a great job installing it. He is very professional. He also gave me an additional 7 year warranty.

I took advantage of a $29 Angie's Deal because I had a very leaky bathroom faucet. I was able to get a Saturday appt. with Rivers Plumbing, and the plumber, Roy, determined that my faucet could not be fixed but had to be replaced. He recommended a manufacturer and type, and I purchased the faucet and made the service appt. for the following Tuesday. I now have a wonderful new faucet that works perfectly. I now also have fully inspected plumbing, which was part of the deal, so the $166 service call minus the $59 credit I got as part of the Deal resulted in an end total service bill of $107. Adding the original $29 I paid for the Deal brings the total to $136. (I also bought an $84 faucet.) I'm very pleased with Roy's professionalism, his expertise, his explanations, and his manner, and I would request his help again from Rivers Plumbing.

I received an estimate, contract, and a menu of what he is going to do and was satisfied. We're scheduled to get it replaced.

Couldn't of been more kind. Explained all costs worked fast, completed job & again explained what he did & what to expect. Very nice & professional.

Before starting the plumber asked if I wanted an estimate. I said to just go ahead with the work. I provided all of the necessary hardware. There was no necessity to cut into the shower wall. With that said, the bill (Invoice #:101766) excluding the Angies' List special, came to $1,211.00. This would indicate about $400 an hour in labor. I consider this to be excessive billing.

The technician was extremely polite and conscientiousness. Parts had to be ordered and because of the holiday it took extra time. He called several times to let us know what was going on. One of the replacement outdoor faucets we needed is no longer being made, so he did his best to get one to fit. My problem is with the cost and cost estimate. When I called the company to ask how much it would cost to replace one outdoor faucet (I had two), I was told they wouldn't know until they looked at it. Other companies give a ballpark figure over the phone. When the technician wrote up the invoice and I questioned the price (especially since I had bought a coupon through Angie's List), he showed me a book and said the technicians are provided with a list for all services. If that's the case, why didn't the person I spoke to on the phone tell me that it would cost $290 to replace one outdoor faucet? (And I don't think that included the service the fee I paid for with the coupon.)

Ross was on time, courteous, & very knowledgeable. He was at my home from 9-6 and finished everything. We were thrilled.

The service was fine overall. The job turned out to be much bigger than initially thought, and he was able to get everything done in one visit. The work was done at a reasonable rate, and I was happy with the work overall.
