This company really knows something about exceptional customer service. I called them and they tried to get me in the same day and also called me periodically to update when the tech person will be there. We had Michael B. do the plumbing repairs and he was courteous and very helpful. Explained me the project, the cost and the specs. Did a wonderful job! The project went great. In fact, I am now thinking of contacting them to do my annual HVAC maintenance.

I have needed to call on Hoffman Brothers many three this year and everything time they have gone above and beyond with their service. All technicians and office personnel are very nice, professional and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Hoffman Brothers for any of the services they provide. Aug 19th 2017 - Friday I come home from work to find that the air conditioner died. The lady who answered my evening indicated that I might have to wait until Monday for service, but when I begged her to see if anybody would be available tonight, she found Joe who was willing to come out. Joe determined that we needed a new air handler and condensing unit, gave us our options on models, pricing and financing options. He was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we understood every option. We were able to apply and get reasonable financing that night through one of their lenders. Joe was able to get Doug and Luke to come out the next morning to install everything. Doug and Luke not only installed everything in the hot August sun but also caulked a few holes in our brick mortar where ants were coming in and treated an ant hill right by the install site (using pest spray we already had). Jan 6th - While running our washing machine I discovered water leaking somewhere in the laundry room (water was coming from under this room into our walkout basement). Andy came out, tested the laundry room pipes and determined that the leak was coming from the washing machine. Andy was also very nice and made sure it wasn't the pipes before he left. Jan 8th - Shane fixed our leaking washing machine by installing a better clamp on one of the water hoses which had come off, causing the water leak. After this fix he ran the washer while watching the machinery and other hoses operate to make sure there were no other leaks. He also fixed our dryer vent which was a bit smashed between the dryer and wall, and suggested we look into installing a dryer duct on the wall to provide a bit more space behind the dryer.

Isolated problem to thermostat. System works perfectly now after thermostat was replaced.

Service tech was very professional and answered any questions I had. He finished in about 45 minutes and cleaned up afterwards. Everything is back working like normal and they offer a 30 day warranty for their work. Highly recommended!

I pay a maintenance agreement. I love them too. They are very professional, they show up on time, and they do good work.

So to begin the people who deserve 5 stars are - Christian, Angela, Mike, and Jason. They went above and beyond to make sure our tankless water heater/stove gas line were taken care of and that we were happy customers. Somebody to be leery of and someone who doesn't deserve a single star is - Dominick - He is who gave us an initial quote and quite honestly the reason we went with Hoffmann brothers. He answered every phone call and text of questions we had about having a tankless water heater over the course of about 3 weeks. As soon as the men arrived to install the water heater, they informed me that Dominick didnt include a stove gas line like we asked and it would be an additional $600 on top of what we already agreed to pay. Immediately, I went to Dominick confused about why he didn't include it and he didn't answer. In fact he never responded back after 10+ phone calls numerous texts over the span of a week - basically he got his paycheck and ran with no care of what we may have to go through to find someone to fix this issue. So, Here we are with a brand new gas oven/stove top with no line to go to it. So I called Angela - she acted quickly to be sure we were taken care of. Christian, the master plumber, called me at exactly the time he agreed to and got our issue taken care of. No arguing or anything. The plumbers - Mike and Jason were both super professional and great communicators. We will use Hoffmann Bros again, but will never deal with Dominick again. Thank you to all of you who helped my husband and I out through all of this!

They seem kind of expensive to me, but everything is expensive. They were here on time.

Hoffman Brothers (electric service) Pros: knowledgeable & efficient technicians, above & beyond service, top quality work, flexible Cons: initial estimate inaccurate The first week of July I called Hoffman Brothers to get an estimate for converting our electric range hook up to gas. Made an appointment for the we closed on our home (July 14th). The day came and I unexpectedly had to call (only 2 or 3 hours before the appointment) change the appointment to the following Monday, they were very understanding & doing so was no trouble. July 17th Mick arrived on time (wearing booties on his feet!), assessed the current setup, went back to his truck to write it all up, & then gave me a very through estimate. Unfortunately, the estimate did not include an estimate for work that needed to be performed in regard to electric. We did not know we'd need work on the electric until work got stared in the conversion on July 24th. Our plumber, Corey, arrived at 8:15am for a 7am appointment. When he called to say he was 30 minutes away, he was under the impression that the office would have called to tell me he had to stop elsewhere first. No big deal, I was planning on being home all day as I was quoted for 5 hours of work. Corey worked from 8:15am-2:15pm, this included a trip out to get some stuff he needed from the store. He wanted us to have be able to use the stove while we waited a few days for an electrician, so he plunged the stove into a 6-plug as a temporary fix. He worked hard to make the drywall removal that was required minimal. When it came time to pay, there had been a miscommunication on price when Mick's estimate had been typed up. I showed Corey the estimate & he adjusted it to the correct price quickly! He did not charge me for the additional time, maybe because the whole electric thing? Not sure, but I was thankful! He also took care of scheduling an electrician appointment for two days later. Jerry & Ken arrived July 26th around 9:45am, after a phone call from the office letting me know they were on their way, to take care of the electric work. They took stock of what we were working with & then called into their manager to explain the situation. Obviously it was not the responsibility of Jerry or Ken for the mistake in the estimate, but that did not stop them from making it right. Because of the miscommunication, they offered their services for the electric at a much reduced cost. When they went out to get the necessary parts, they even purchased a longer gas hose for the stove & a few things to help with a small issue with our hvac system, at no cost to us! All in all it took them about 2 hours (including a trip to the store) to do the required work (plus a few, no cost extras) & now everything if functioning perfectly. Overall, a situation that could have lead to bad reviews because of unforeseen costs was completely mitigated by Jerry & Ken. I would absolutely use their services again!

Service technician did an excellent job and quickly diagnosed the problem. Ordered the part on the spot and installed it the following day.

They are very expensive, but they are so good. It is amazing. They come in, they put booties on over their shoes, even though I tell them they don't have to. They explain everything. They show up on time. They are in and out. They are really good, but they are pricey. They charge you to even come out, but if you use them, then it gets deducted. They get "A"s for everything, but the price.

They are the people we call whenever we have a problem. They did a really fabulous job. They are really good at it. They had come months before maybe even a full year before and checked on our water heater because it had dropped in the temperature. So the lady there reset it and but she said we are getting to the end of life for this thing. I got another years worth out of it. Then the water started getting cold again. So they came and pulled out the old one which was gigantic and heavy, full of calcium. Then when they brought a new one in, he rerouted a few things so it was more convenient and actually more efficient and checked everything. The inspector that came through said it was a really nice job. I think the guy doing it was spectacularly capable. I think the price was within reasonable considering how big it was and how long it had been in there untended. The quality is very very good. I think that was extraordinarily well done and clearly an expert down there making it happen.

I have a contract with them for my air conditioning and heating. I've been using them. It was done within a day. They are very nice and knowledgeable. They cleaned up very well.

I was extremely impressed with Hoffmann Brothers Heating & Cooling. I had them service my AC unit for a routine maintenance and shortly after it did not appear to be cooling well. It's a VERY old AC and Aron came out to try to fix it, at no charge to me. He was able to fix a few things but it still wasn't cooling well enough. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful and wanted to make sure I was happy with my service so they sent out another technician to see if they could get it cooling better. They sent out Jozo who was AWESOME! Not only was he super friendly but he took the extra time to explain exactly what was going on, detailed out my options and ultimately ended up recommending replacing the motor. He was also extremely helpful in giving additional information and advice for future considerations when we go to replace the entire unit or sell the house. He was courteous, professional and generally likable. I have never had a bad experience with anyone at Hoffmann Brothers and was so impressed with their OUTSTANDING service. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and my AC was working the way I expected. I would highly recommend using Hoffmann Brother.

Lied to my face about my AC unit, tried to tell me that it could not be fixed and that I would have to put in a new one. Then when pressured about the fact that it only needed a new fan blade, he then tried to tell me that just the blade would cost over 200.00, when in fact he could get the fan blade at Granger for less than 65. dollars. They are the worst.....Never use them RUN FAR RUN FAST

As far as I can remember, they did a fine job. They did fine work; I have no problems. They do good work, and they are transparent to your needs. They tell you what they're going to do and then they do it. The employees were very polite.

They evaluated my whole HVAC system and found several issues with the A/C and my 26-year-old furnace. They explained everything to me in detail to help me make the best decision for my wallet and the environment. It made the most sense to replace my whole system, and they were able to get a salesperson to my house within 30 minutes, so I didn't have to take another day off work to be home for a separate appointment. The installation was completed in one day, they left my basement cleaner than before they came, the system was explained to me before the installers left, and everything is working great now.

Turned out it's just a cheap system and the noise is fine. We feel better knowing there's nothing wrong with it. All we paid was the $95 fee for them to come out.

Everyone was so polite and helpful. The team made sure to explain all aspects of the project and options to ensure the best and most cost effective solution. They have followed up to make sure everything is working.

Started and finished on time. Had an issue that they immediately responded to and corrected.

All of the bids were in the range of $12000.00 to $16000.00...their bid was around $14000.00 to $15000.00. I did use them.

Tony came out and changed out my 26 year old tank and upgraded it to the newer model. My old water tank had a crack inside the tank. He also had to replace the aluminum flu and upgrade it to galvanized metal. He worked quietly and diligently. He was extremely professional and got the job done in around 2&1/2 hours. There was no mess to clean up afterwards and he even chatted with me at the end and was really personable. I would definitely hire this company again. Very knowledgeable about their work and there price was lower than the other estimate I acquired. Lisa C

This was the second time. They are a heating, air conditioning, and plumbing company. I have used them for both plumbing and air conditioning and heating. My experience for both has been positive.
