Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a plumbing service call and a plumbing inspection.

Description of Work: Installed Garbage Disposal and basket strainer in sink, also replaced S coils on pipes under sink. The work was well done, Ross was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable but Rivers Plumbing pricing is just too high.

Description of Work: The plumber fixed a loose toilet handle and a leaky hot water heater valve. Very professional, courteous and I would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: I called for help with a clogged garbage disposal drain. They sent a plumber. The plumber informed us that this was just a drain, below his paygrade, and he didn't carry the tools to fix it. He called his company for a replacement, but I was already on the phone to another provider. His company was quoting a price twice as high as the other company was quoting me and the other company could get here faster than the plumber's replacement. I went with the other company.

Description of Work: 3 showers/bath tub faucets with cartridges replaced. 2 toilets overhauled. Aluminum venting on water heater brought to code. I was very impressed with my service from the office to the service tech (Michael) who gave me the estimate and did the work all in a sudden day I had off from a hospital. Very professional and personable. I will definitely use them again. Thanks to Rivers Plumbing, I had a great shower this morning!!!

Description of Work: The plumber diagnosed the problem for us. The work would have cost $1000 so we did not authorize it. But because of the information he gave us we will be able to fix it ourselves. In addition he informed us of a free program to get our outside valve repaired. He was very helpful.

Description of Work: Service call to repair leaking bathroom faucet. It was determined faucet needs to be replaced, but plumber replaced a ring to slow the leak.

Description of Work: I purchased the big deal to have my whole house plumbing inspected. I did it just for peace of mind. The plumber offered some suggestions to improve plumbing issues from the inspection. There was other work that I needed to have done. The plumber changed his schedule to accommodate me, of course with support of the office. He was very informative and did an excellent job. I am very satisfied with the changed shower head, drainage replaced, and dripping bath faucet. There was also a small leak with one of the pipes for an outside faucet. He tightened it to stop the leak.

Description of Work: Even though there was no charge, the plumber couldn't remove a faucet cartridge. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. I went to hardware store and bought a cartridge puller and fixed the problem myself.

Description of Work: We had the whole home plumbing inspection, offered as an Angie's list deal. We just bought our house and we were trying to figure out what our most pressing plumbing issue was. They didn't identify any issues other than what we pointed out, and then offered to fix them for what seemed an unreasonable amount. They wanted to perform the service right then, which we were not prepared to do. They lowered the price several times if we would do it immediately, but we were not ready to commit. Since the inspection we have had a number of plumbing issues (a poorly plumbed kitchen sink, a leaking shower causing water damage) that a good inspection should have uncovered. We will not be going back to them for the fix.
