Mr. Heffernan did a wonderful job repairing it, so that it looked brand new. His rates were reasonable and he worked quickly getting the job done in one day. He repaired the damage and guaranteed his work, promising to return if there were any problems in the future.

Steve at Heffernan responded within a few hours on a Friday night to do a last-minute paint job for us starting on the weekend before we moved into our new house. He and his crew did a great job painting our living room and kitchen. Any issues we had he corrected immediately and made sure we were happy with the final result - Steve stands behind his work.

Steve was very responsive when I first called and had a bid back to me within a couple of days. He started the job on the day he promised. Unfortunately, we started late in the season so the job was delayed by weather. It was understood when we began that the price did not include any additional wood replacement or fixing of existing conditions. So the original price was for just painting. As they got into it they found a lot of rotted wood. This was no surprise. So, the wood replacement was done on an hourly basis. I felt comfortable that there were no over charges. If I had been better informed, perhaps I wouldn't have agreed to $50 per hour, but do feel that the carpentry work was well done and will last for years.

I needed the 28 foot long wood trim along the rear gutter of my home repainted. I was working against a short deadline. My home is two-stories, and I did not feel comfortable doing this job myself on a ladder. I also did not want to hire some simple handyman service that did not have any experience working at such a height. Heffernan Painting was very responsive. They were already working in the neighborhood and came over promptly to review the job and provide an estimate. They agreed to do the job within my deadline, and the work was completed as promised on time. I cannot comment too much on the quality of the work since it has only been a couple of months since the work was done. Also, the work was done along my roofline, so I could not inspect it too closely. My only issue is related to the price of the job. $400 seems like a lot to paint 28 feet of 4 inch trim. However, Heffernan Painting did work within my short timeline, and I did not have to worry about climbing any ladders myself.

Steve was very responsive to my request to visit, provided an estimate immediately, and was able to start the work in just days. Used quality paint and was careful in application. Easy to work with and worked hard.
