+ -1 moreThe entire process from the time you call them to them reassuring you that your beloved pet will be picked up their bodies handled with the respect you would give till the moment they return your loved and missed pets ashes along with a clip of their fur and the precious paw prints in clay you know you've made the right choice. They are such a wonderful company.
Description of Work: I have used Heartland now twice 4 years apart the most recent being May 26 2015 In each case we were having our precious cat the first having been with us 16 years the second time which was this week our 21 year old cat cremated and wanted to be certain we received only our dear pets ashes so we once again used Heartland because of the utmost care that John and Justin provide.

Description of Work: Cremation of my beloved 20 yr. cat. Both people answering phone extremely sensitive to my hurting situation. Justin never put pressure on me due to my delay in making my final decision. (I delayed due to my financial situation.) He was extremely professional & even stayed to listen to my feelings. Even my tears didn't seem to bother him. Upon his returning the ashes,again he was patient w/all my questions. He was so respectful of my deceased, very best friend! He assured me all my feelings & emotions were "normal" Not long ago, I lost another 20 yr. BFF & so wish I'd used Heartland for the cremation services.. In the end only a few dollars difference. Night & day difference between the 2 experiences! I highly recommend Heartland!!! I will definitely use their services again!! (Have 2 more cats but hope they are stable for awhile.) Told Justin my other cats were still not eating & looking for the deceased cat & he even explained that sometimes it can help if the living pets/children R given the opportunity to say good-bye. Such a good suggestion 4 my situation.

Our experience was outstanding, and we are highly satisfied. Our pets are family members; and, as my husband put it, Heartland treated out Max ''like a little person.'' They sent two people because they knew ours was a large dog. They were very professional, but very sensitive to our grief and our need for Max to be treated with dignity. It touched me that they wrapped him in a soft, clean blanket and placed him on a stretcher instead of carrying him out in a body bag. They paused before they went out the door for me to pet him one last time. They drove an SUV, instead of a pickup truck, and they had left the engine running so the vehicle would stay cool. With our last two pets; and a different company, it took from ten days to two weeks to get our pets' ashes back. Heartland brought Max's ash back home the very same day. For people who love their pets, this is a great company whether your pet is euthanized at home or at a vet's office. We recommend them highly.
Description of Work: Our much loved German Shepherd, Max, had to be euthanized in our home two days ago. Heartland Pet Cremation arrived at the precise time requested. They wrapped Max in a soft blanket, placed him on a stretcher and very carefully carried him to their SUV. His ashes were returned to us the same day in a temporary urn.
