GENERAL TILE

The contractor did good work when he actually showed up. He told me he would provide a plumber that could move the water and drain lines, but showed up and acted surprised that the plumbing work hadn't been completed. He started the work but it was another week before he came back to continue. I had to provide my own plumber. He didn't return my calls, said he would be there at 8 AM and didn't show up until 10 AM or didn't show up at all. He did good work and worked hard when he was here. The job took a lot longer than it should have, but it turned out great. Mustafa, the owner, doesn't have a thorough command of the English language and communication is an issue. He is an artist when it comes to tile work however and I'd use him again in spite of the difficulties.

The price was good, they arrived on time and worked hard the first day. He told me they would be a little late the 2nd day, and hadn't shown up by 1:00 so I called him and he said they were coming. At 4:30 I called him again and all he said was "sorry" but they would be there the next day. They did come the next morning and finished the job the following day. He did wonderful tile work and they were very neat and clean. The only other thing I wasn't happy with is that they didn't replace the toilet - it's in the garage.
