They seem knowledgeable. It is a small company that I have done business with for over fifty years. They have knowledgeable and helpful people. If I call them and ask if they have this in stock, they say no but they would tell me who would have it and not everybody would send you to their competitor when they don't have a product in stock. The components they have are generally good quality and they are the only I am familiar with having sent back imported goods that were not up to their quality standards. They seem more willing to give me information on products, good or bad. They have been consistently excellent over the fifty years I have dealt with them. They seem patient. Right from my first visit, they have done very good work for me as far as providing exactly what I need and finding a substitution if they didn’t have it. I don’t terribly frequently use them now but when I call, they remember who I am. They remember who most of their customers are which is far more surprising. I don't know how their mail order business is but locally they are fairly small business and yet they pretty much have everything that I have expected to find there.

I called to ask if they had the part I needed in stock. They stated they did not but had a similar part that might work equally well. I visited their store and purchased the part after determining it should work. I successfully made my own repairs.
