The crew that showed up to do the work went above and beyond what I expected. They removed all the limbs that was planned, and they also removed some extra limbs that my wife wanted to have removed. The crew worked well with each other and they were helpful and courteous to my family. They cleaned up everything even some of the limbs that I had cut down earlier. Tom Gamma was the arborist that gave me the price quote for the work. He was very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. He even stopped by to check on the crew and the progress of the work. Communication between the office and all the workers was extremely convenient and they were very responsive to any questions I had and my needs. During the time the crew was working at my house several of my neighbors contacted them in regards to work. My neighbor also had me ask Tom to get them quotes for work on one of their trees. I was very pleased with all the work completed and will refer Gamma to friends and family and use them again myself.

I've been a longtime customer of Gamma. For a while they were outbid by another company. After getting a bid from this other company for my latest job I decided to give Gamma a try again. They were significantly less expensive this time. I have always known Gamma to be professionals. I have also recommended Gamma to friends and their feedback was similar. Gamma arrived on time, they completed the work promptly, the clean up the site thoroughly. While I'm not a fan of using chainsaws for pruning I understand it. Given that, the results were esthetically pleasing as viewed from the street. I have used Gamma for decades and--this is important--am familiar with how their work ages. The shaping and pruning choices they make add to the attractiveness of the trees over the years.

That was a real hassle. Our insurance paid probably most of it. I never give anybody an A because that would be perfect, and nobody's perfect.

I called and was told someone would call me within the next two working days to schedule and appointment. I never received a call, but several days later I found a company card in my mailbox. No explanation... no note... nothing. Will not call them back. Very unprofessional.

Called them for an estimate. Had to recall them since no one called me back. When they finally did call me, they came out, gave me and gave me an estimate. I called them back and they stated they would come out within a two week period but on the scheduled day, they didn't show. I called them since I was off work that day and was told they are 4-6 weeks from doing the work I needed done. Since the work I needed done couldn't wait that long, I needed to go with another company. I felt they didn't want the job, was not delivering good customer service when I had to call back to basically get service. I chose them in the past several times but will no longer recommend this company.

Wasted almost two months dealing with these guys. took two weeks just to get a quote. Confirmed contract and kept getting maybe we'll get to it for a week. Finally get a date set and they no showed. Called back to get another date because I have a dog I have to kennel inside, and get the maybe we'll get to it response. Following week estimator not even returning calls. Finally just called another service and they had it done in less than a week. Can't comment on the work they do but I certainly have a problem with the way they do business.

I use them occasionally. They gave me a recommendation about replacing the tree because it was going to die. But it's still healthy. But the actual trimming of the tree was excellent.

I have used them several times before, and I am happy with their work. I will use them again.

Great! No straggling limbs have fallen during the recent high winds and rain. Neighbors are even commenting about our previously ugly tree. I highly recommend Gamma Tree Service!

We had a 35 ft. tree that died over the summer and had to come down. We got three estimates and 9/28/15 we got one from Gamma that tied with the lowest one. We had used Gamma twice before and were satisfied with the work, so we felt comfortable selecting them. If we had known it would take 10 weeks and many phone calls for them to complete the job, we would have selected someone else. Here's the timeline: 9/28/15 - received estimate and told it would take "a couple of weeks". 11/17/15 - tree cut down and branches removed just hours before the second tree service we called was scheduled to come out. Gamma workers gave us no advance alert they were coming and did not remove the stump. 11/19/15 - Received invoice for the job including the stump removal not performed "payable upon receipt" 12/11/15 - Stump finally ground out We have no issue with the quality of the work. However, the poor communication and response undermined most of our opinion about the service. Our job was obviously too small and unimportant to matter to them. In this case, they never should have accepted it and saved us both the aggravation. The only prompt service was sending the invoice. Too bad, we used to think highly of Gamma.

Took long time to complete. Would not give eta. Job was done well. Price was competitive.

Estimate was given promptly. They accelerated the work for me due to other work I need done under the removed trees and cleaned up well - They were polite and professional. My big oaks are in "good hands" with the arborists' expertise that Gamma Tree Experts provided.

I contacted this company on April 3rd both by Angie's list email as well as by phone (same day). I requested an estimate for a Sugar Maple and a Sweet gum tree. I explained that I had been referred to them though my Parish bulletin as well as a Parishioner. I also explained that I was military and needed to get this down before end of May so that I would be in town. Today is April 27th. I have not received an estimate nor have I even received a courtesy call to say there was a delay in getting estimates completed. Very unprofessional.

**UPDATE** They showed up very early this morning with four people and completed the three hours of work that were left to do. This crew was very professional and worked hard to get the job complete. They communicated why some branches were not being cut (because they were healthy and not dead) and cleaned up after themselves when they left. We were told the original people they sent out had only been with the company a few months, so maybe they just didn't have the same committment to the company as their normal crew. We're very pleased with the work now, but disappointed that Gamma would employ poor workers like the first crew. **ORIGINAL POST** They are more expensive than other companies, but we grew up with the family and they always did excellent work. I would guess that they have hired people who don't know what they're doing, because the work was shoddy, at best! They showed up late and had to borrow my mom's ladder because they didn't have one to do the job. They were later than expected and she had a doctor's appointment so she couldn't stay. When she returned they had left some dead limbs that were specifically to be removed, one of which was cut but left hanging in the tree. Ready to fall on someone's head in a slight windstorm! They also broke the downspout off a building, left trash including cigarette butts strewn around the yard and also left debris covering the roof. She contacted Shane, the estimator and he returned and agreed that the work was not complete and promised they would be there first thing the next morning to complete the work. He did not apologize for the debris on the roof or the trash in the yard. She waited around all morning. When she called them, he again did not apologize but said there had been a wire down so they had to go elsewhere first. He did not call to tell her they would be late. They have yet to fix the problems almost a week later.

From start to finish I was very happy with Gamma Tree. The only reason I gave them a B for responsiveness was that I had to make several calls to the salesman to get some questions answered and get the service scheduled. The 3 man crew that they sent out to do the work were awesome. They worked very hard all day long on this very big job on a day when the temperature reached the upper 90s. They were extremely polite and professional, always looking down to make sure that no one had walked into the work zone. They cleaned as they worked so that my yard never looked like much of a mess. Chris who was in the cherry picker working up high in the tree would carefully contemplate every cut to make sure it was the appropriate cut. The trees were seriously overgrown and had not been trimmed in a very long time. When the work was done, there was no sign of the work on the ground. They did a great job of getting it all cleaned up. My 3 trees are now beautiful and I have received many compliments from the neighbors. The best part was that their bid was the lowest of the 3 bids that I had received. I really feel like I got great value for my money.

I've used Gamma several times to trim our 3 large oak trees and 1 maple and have always been satisfied with the quality of their work and their price. This year one of the oak trees died and had to be removed. Because of the location of the tree I wanted the ground to be dry when the work was done. We had so much rain that it was hard to schedule, but they were at my home doing the work on the first dry day. They did a great job cleaning up but there were some ruts left in the yard. I called to see if they were going to fill those in, which they did. I will definitely use them again.

They came with a and quot;bucketand quot; the day after we called them. They arrived on time and worked long hours. Upon our request, they first removed the limbs on top of the roof so that the insurance adjustor could examine the roof. They worked professionally, expertly, and quickly. They had to bring down the rest of the trunk still standing, which they did efficiently, sparing a small tree planted elsewhere in the yard. They removed all debris and ground out the stump. They did an excellent cleanup job. The entire job took several days but it didn't surprise me considering the size of the tree. They did everything as indicated on the estimate and charged what they quoted.

I have been using them for probably 15 years now. Their rates are reasonable and they are reliable. Their pricing is good. They are cheaper than most of the people that I have used. I get a callback from them on the same day that I call them. They show up when they say that they are going to.

Gamma came out very promptly to look at our situation. They recommended that we remove one of the trees, a birch, and trim the two dogwoods. They did say they could trim the birch but it would cost almost as much as removing it. They were somewhat concerned that it might fall if there was a strong wind storm. We agreed to remove the birch and trim the dogwoods. Gamma was a little difficult to reach, a number of messages traded back and forth but they did always call back when we were trying to schedule. They called us on the evening of August 15 and ask if they could do the work the next day. We were leaving town that morning but told them they could come out if they did not need us at home. We returned three days later. The tree work was all done much to our satisfaction. Except for the missing tree and the trimming work we could not tell that they had been at the house. They did an excellent job cleaning up the yard. I would certainly recommend them to anyone. Many of our neighbors ask for the phone number.

They cut down a 60 foot white pine, a 25 foot blue sprue and a 20 foot red bud tree. The completed everything within 2 days. We contacted them and received a quote very promptly. The quote was approximately $700 lower than the quote that we received from Allen's Tree Service. We contacted Gamma to accept the quote and schedule a time to have the work completed. They gave us a range of dates when they would complete the work. We had to call back because they didn't come out to do the work within the specified time, however, there had been some storms in the area so this may have had something to do with that but we would have appreciated it if they had called with a new range of dates. When we called, they were at our house within 2 days. This was the second time that we have used Gamma Tree Experts and we were extremely satisfied with the work both times.

Our job wasn't top priority after a tornado through our area, so we understood the delay of several days after Tom Gamma surveyed the job. When they did come, they were fast and efficient. The man in the cherrypicker maneuvered his and quot;bucketand quot; in and out of the tree and engineered a perfect drop. Branches were shredded and cleanup handled in a professional manner also. Very impressed and very pleased.

The estimator showed up and first thing he asked was how much my insurance deductible was then told me how he can save it for me because insurance companies just rip people off. Speaking of rip off, the bid was $650 higher then the other three I received. Will not be using this company.

I had a dogwood that was over 25 years old die on me last summer. I waited until this spring to see if it was tuely dead and it was. I called Gamma Tree and talked to a nice lady about getting a bid on the removal of the tree and having the stump removed. Within a couple of days i had a bid sent to me via snail mail. I was in agreement with the price so I phoned Gamma and told them to do the work. The next morning a Brian Davidson called me to confirm the work and said he would have the tree out in a few day and that the stump would be removed as well. After the work was done, i inspected the area and the work was done to my statisfaction. I highly recommend Gamma Tree service.

They are professional and do good work. They are reliable and call back when you call them. They also have reasonable pricing.
