I had everything taken care of properly and neatly. I asked Anthony to check up on some work I had done a few years back,he was able to correct the mistakes made there as well as repair my leaking roof over the bay window. I'm very pleased with the work overall.

Very well. We found them in the phone book after calling two other local contractors. They were prompt, professional, and performed the work as described. They gave us a written estimate before and a one year warranty after the work was complete. The cost was less than we expected to spend.

Excellent. I sent my contract late in the first week of June. I was contacted monday of the following week and told that the repair crew would be there that day. By the end of day, the job was completed and was done very well. I was completely satisfied.

I had a great experience working with this company. Anthony came out to give me an estimate and within a week or so, my roof was completed. The price was great and the service was great. The best thing, very painless. They did everything they said they would and I had no problems. So I highly recommend this company to other people.

anthony was quick to come and gave a good initial assessment of my needs and after the estimate was made he and his crew came promptly to complete the agreed upon work. i had a new roof put on my home and the work was done promptly and the crew made sure that old roof debris was hauled off and there was no damage to any shrubs or plants.

Promptly came out and gave a bid. I think price was good, but could not get another bid. Anthony was very knowledgeable and professional. The crew came out to start the job. My chimney is on the side of the house with my deck, which I had just painted the week before. The worker tore out all old morter, and let it crash onto the deck. Eventually he put down a small and ratty tarp. When he was finished he hosed off the deck, but once it dried there was morter dirt everywhere, footprints walking off the deck, and a couple of small scars on the deck (from morter or shovel, not sure). The driveway also had a huge dirty area where they mixed their morter. Anthony called and I told him how upset I was that my freshly painted deck was filthy. To his credit he sent someone back out that day and cleaned it again. It was then about 80% clean. I chose to do the rest of the cleaning myself. I am putting house up for sale, so will have to put another coat of stain on the deck. If I had known how dirty they would be, I would have waited to stain it in the first place. i would consider using them again, but if I did, I would manage the workers to assure they put down enough protection.

i called this company and they came prepared to do the work the next day which they did at very reasonable price.

Anthony provided a proposal after carefully inspecting the roof, chimney, and stack vent pipes. He also sealed the flashing around the skylights. He later came out to our property to determine the source of a leak. It was not caused by his work. I was a new, unknown problem. Anthony fixed the problem on a Saturday! In cold weather!

We needed service immediately for one of our properties. Mr. Grossman came on a weekend, and completed the job that week.

The bid was fine but we didn't go with them. They were prompt.

The work went well--I think my problem is fixed.

Both partners showed up on time to do estimate, and actually got onto the roof to check it out and take measurements. In other contacts with EBS, they were on time, unless delayed by business, at which time I got a phone call. I dealt mostly with Anthony, who explained the estimates and what they would do. Crew showed up on schedule at both work sites and did the work as I was told they would. Each job was virtually finished in just one day. Cleanup was good and Anthony was present at times at both jobs. One minor adjustment was needed at the rental unit, and that adjustment was taken care of by Anthony. Estimates were within reason for the work that was done, and were very competitive or lower than estimates I had gotten from others. I decided to go with EBS because of the punctuality of the partners, the way the jobs were explained to me, the on-site estimates that I was given, and the fact that the guys actually got onto the roof!! My only complaint is that I have yet to see Anthony's Harley, although he has called several times to come by, and he will probably keep calling until I am available to actually see it, perhaps in the spring!

We were having a leak someplace in the external wall. Anthony came over and checked out the situation and immediately determined the cause (vents on the roof falling apart). He pointed out that one was shot but the other two would need to be taken care of at some point in the near future. Offered to do them all for a very reasonable price. At this point the situation got complicated in that we have a neighbor who refuses to let us or any one working for us on his property (long story and sad). This makes putting a ladder up to the roof (two story house) very difficult. Anthony made it work, brought extra workers to make sure the job was done fast (ie before the neighbor got home) and did a great job. He also sized up some potential problems that will need fixing in the future (maybe when the neighbor goes on vacation) but we will certainly be calling him when we have other needs. He was excellent, understanding of the situation, and willing to make it all work.

It went great! I was so paranoid about finding a contractor/roofer, knowing there are more frauds and cheats than not in the industry. I felt burned by the person who'd put up our last roof, thinking that perhaps part of our problem with the water drainage was caused from their craftsmanship as much as it had to do with our clogged gutters. I checked Angie's List thoroughly and narrowed my search down to 4 contractors. EBS didn't have a lot of reviews, but something about the few that were on there made me feel comfortable with contacting them. I contacted each on the same day, around 4pm. One called back right away and made an appointment for an estimate, but when he came to the house, tried to up-sell a bunch of stuff, making the bill over $8k. The other two never called back. Anthony called first thing the next morning after I sent my email, asked me a few questions and we made an appointment for an estimate. He was right on time and after checking out the roof, explained exactly what he felt needed to be done. He even took photos of the roof to show me what was going on up there. We decided that not only did we need the roof replaced, plus all the bad plywood, but it was probably a good idea to get the gutters replaced at the same time, so we could get all the rotted fascia board replaced. He gave me an estimate, which was not cheap, but not as expensive as the first guy who came out. However, it was about what I had figured on based on other info I'd gathered on the internet. He offered me several options regarding ridge vents vs. turbine-style vents, 5 inch gutters vs. 6 inch gutters, etc. He was very open and honest with what he thought was needed and what wasn't. He never tried to hard-sell anything. He left all the product decisions up to me, but answered all the questions I had about the products. We had to wait a few weeks before he and his crew could come out because we were waiting for a tree guy to get there to trim back some limbs, so Anthony and his crew would have space to work. We finally signed the contract after the "good for 30 days" bid, and the price only went up a couple hundred dollars because of an increase in materials. We gave him a deposit on Tuesday and on Friday at 7am, his crew arrived at your front door, ready to work. They had that old roof ripped off and the new one back on by 1pm. His crew arrived first, and then Anthony came by for a while to check up on the job. The only surprise was a $45 furnace collar that had to be replaced because of the stupid, stinking squirrels chewing on it. He actually brought it down off the roof and took it to our front door to show us the damage to confirm the need for it to be replaced. They left the lawn and driveway totally clean, going over it with a magnet for any debris. The gutter guy came by the following Tuesday and had the new gutter and fascia boards up in a couple of hours. All of the EBS employees were very courteous, polite and respectful of our property and made a nice appearance. We would highly recommend Anthony and his crew to anyone! He's a gentleman and I hope continues to run his company in such a high-quality manor.

Anthony had worked on my roof when he was with another company. One of the locations they repaired started leaking again. When I tried to get them to come out to repair it under their guarantee, I found out that company had gone bankrupt (after Anthony left). I was able to get in touch with Anthony who came out to look at the roof and made a couple patches free of charge. When that didn't fix it, he and his partner agreed to do the job AT COST because I was out money to the other company with no recourse. I could not believe the integrity, honesty and kindness of these gentlemen. In addition, as part of the work they sealed up a turret that was leaking. It is so hard to find good people in this business. I thought that if they were doing such a cheap job that they wouldn't take it as seriously. That is not the case at all! Anthony made me feel like he was working for a family member. He has no problem with me calling, he always communicated and they showed up when they said they would and in a very timely manner and cleaned up afterward. THANK YOU ANTHONY AND LEO!

Having been privy to home improvement schemes, including roofers with a hidden agendas in the past, led me to this website. I recently acquired my dream roof . After four different bids, and the recommendation of someone I trusted infinitely, my search for a roofer ended with Exterior Building Solutions. Someone came out within 48 hours to look at the condition of my roof. The existing roof had three layers, the latest (top) layer which had just celebrated its 17th birthday. I knew well the sad shape that my roof was in, but wanted to see what different roofing companies offered. After Exterior Building Solutions inspected my roof and reported back to me, a price for the entire job was agreed upon beating all other contenders in my hidden bid-war. I was advised on different materials and colors that were available. I was kept informed the entire way. There were no surprises that cropped up. I had referred this company to a friend of mine. Here are her comments: Exterior Building Solutions has many years of experience. My roof would be considered small by most standards, so I secretly doubted the care in which it would be given. However, I could not wipe the smile from my face upon seeing the job after its completion. The men did the work within two days. Even the clean-up left me with a cleaner yard than I had left it. In addition, not one nail has fallen since! I recommend, with no reservations whatsoever, the trustworthiness and tenaciousness of these men all of whom have stayed together for all of these years. The quality and competency was phenomenal!
