EXTERIOR BUILDING SOLUTIONS their team was great to work. They answered all my questions. They were very professional.

I used Angie's List to get bids from 5 companies for the roofing work needed. All bids were responsive, but Exterior Building Solutions were one of the lower prices (not the lowest) and offered the best overall quality solution. They were thorough, very responsive, listened to all my concerns and took time to be sure all my questions were answered (I am an engineer so had a lot of technical questions). They were especially helpful in explaining the various solutions available for my flat roof area which needed special attention. Their solution for this area, although slightly more expensive, was clearly the best way to go. No other contractor suggested or offered this solution. Once we signed the contract in September, weather played havoc on our plans for an install date. Material was here, but good weather was not! They were very flexible in waiting until we had several days of dry weather with temperatures well above 50 degrees to assure the best install conditions. This took a wait of almost 6 months. Once scheduled, everything went as planned. Installation was exactly as described with a super clean up job afterwards. Their gutter sub-contractor was also as professional and skilled as Exterior Building Solutions crew. After 1 week, I had one item that needed adjustment (one gutter downspout needed to be shortened by 1-1/2" to get a better outflow through a tube to the end of the house). Anthony came over the next day and fixed it! No problem, super service.

It went very well, and he was very knowledgeable. His work is of high quality. He replaced a roof that had just been installled and was leaking, and he fixed the problem. He really went above and beyond to meet my expectaions.When I was getting quotes from several roofers, he was the only one to offer to tarp the top of the roof to protect the house from further water damage. He didn't even have my business, and yet he was still willing to offer this to me.

Anthony was prompt and responsive to our calls for this repair as well as a gutter repair earlier in this year. He provided a thorough estimate, and for work that he thought had to be done ASAP (the chimney repair) he spoke with the foreman and arranged for the work to be performed as quickly as possible. We were treated very professionally and courteously, and the work also appears professionally done and completed to our satisfaction. Would definitely use this company again.

I called on a Friday afternoon and left a message. Saturday EBS called me back and asked if they could stop by in 15 minutes or so. EBS showed up and said let me take a look. He grabbed his ladder and climbed right up. Next thing I new he was throwing nesting down and fixing the screen. Climbed down and said does that look alright? Perfect. Nothing special but exactly what I was wanting.

I left messages Saturday to have someone come to the house for an estimate. Anthony, the owner, contacted me as well as came to the house SUNDAY. We agreed to the estimate and his crew was prompt and professional. They also repaired my gutter for a nominal fee and showed me the completed work to ensure I was satisfied.

I am extremely happy with their performance and their professionalism. I have an old house and there was a problem getting the old gutters off the first time and a hole where a squirrel could get in. They informed me of the problems, got my ok and fixed them without additional charges. They go the extra mile and their work is excellent.

VERY professional! From the first phone call to the the promptness of the appointment for the estimate. Then had to re-visit due to ice and snow still on roof. Was prompt for 2nd visit and completed repair in timely manner for the a reasonable price. Would absolutely recommend and use this company again (although I hope I won't need them...)

From estimate, explanation of service and installation, the process was painless. They even came out 3 more times to fix a trouble spot that didn't quite "take" from the initial roofing job. I would highly recommend EBS.

Mr. G responded to my phone call promptly on 11/04/2010. We arranged to met shortly after 4 that day and when when I got home about 4:10 he was there and had already assessed the problem...then he also checked inside garage attic to find the leakage into the attic there near chimney. He gave an estimate and since he had a good rating on Angie's list I decided to go with him (I did not get bids because there were water spot on my family room ceiling and I was afraid of a big storm--which we had about a week after he got repaired.) We had experienced a failure of a roof vent system in 2008 and had extensive drywall damage and had the roof replaced by a neighbor who is now out of business...so I may have future concerns.I wanted to wait a bit to watch to see if I had a bigger spot, but I think it has been fine since his repair. I will call him again as I do have other concerns. I referred the co. to my son John and also to my secretary whose daughter had them do work at her home as well. I was VERY pleased! My repair was complete in about a week...he had to order shingles and we had to wait over the weekend. Thank you!

Work was done professionally and promptly, price was reasonable and the crew cleaned everything up when they left. I would definitely use them again.

My experience with Exterior Building Solutions was very positive. I was pleased with their professionalism, knowledge,and patience during the quote/decision stage. Their quote was very competitive with the other quotes I got. I experienced absolutely no hassles whatsoever during the job which started and was completed in exactly the timeframe they told me. The finished product is beautiful, and I am 100% confident in their workmanship. They left the jobsite spotless and made sure that my special warranty documentation with Certainteed quickly arrived. Their administrative staff is attentive and tries hard to please the customer. They completely lived up to what I thought I was getting. I highly recommend this company!

We had had a bit of work done on this roof already, on and off leaking, and finally got a few quotes on getting this job done once and for all. EBS was in the middle of the pack, which ranged from $800-13,000. At this point let me say that buying a roof is incredibly confusing, with so many different products and choices of what can be done. We opted for a new roof with EBS based on their reviews and professionalism. The work was done on time and the cost was exactly as quoted. It didn't rain much until this week (Thanksgiving 2010) so I've waited to post the review. After maybe six inches of rain in two days, I feel confident saying that our new roof is great!

Anthony and Lou did a very good job. I had 5 bids, they were not lowest or highest, but best overall package. Yard and landscaping was covered by tarps during tear off and site was cleaned of debris. It took longer than I expected to get the job started due to their work load, but once started, completed job quickly and thoroughly. Overall very satisfied with their work and would contract with them again.

I met with two representatives from the company to go over my requests. Within that week (two days later) my roof was installed. The job was completed professionally. It looked great and I was pleased.

Very responsive, very professional. The gutters were installed on time, no hassles, and they look great. And their quote was substantially less expensive than some others.

Workers called before arriving went right to work took time to explain. Did what looked to me a beautiful job and the boss came to inspect the job. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Quick response to my weekend email for an estimate. He came out right away to get an idea of the work, and even fixed the chimney cap on the spot. Once the materials came in they brought a team who quickly repaired the roofing and cleaned up after the work. Very professional team. Invoice came in at the estimated price.

I was satisfied with all aspects of the work performed from start to finish. I would definitely use Exterior Building Solutions again in the future.

The work was completed in just a couple of hours and they were very professional. They showed up on time, cleaned up their mess, and even gave us a reduced invoice because the work did not take as long as they originally anticipated. Overall, we are very happy with the EBS.

They provided a quick and complete estimate. Installed roof and siding in a timely fashion. When I had concerns about the post-installation cleanup and the venting, they responded quickly and corrected the situation.

It went great. The crew worked hard and did it in two days. The front and sides of the garage were supported while the framing for the replacement roof was installed and the frront and rear of the garage are now perfectly straight.
