Description of Work: Stone Veneer Inspection

Description of Work: Damon Sagehorn has inspected nearly every home we have ever owned or consider purchasing. Prior to working with Damon we had some rather poor experiences with home inspectors. When we purchased our current home the report EE/Damon provided us resulted in the home owner and their builder (the home was only two years old at the time) to make several repairs before we had even requested they be done. When we did send our request to the home owner we were met with no resistance at all. Damon is a structural engineer and approaches home inspection as a mission and a lesson to his clients. He provides the good the bad and the ugly. He is able to prepare you for what needs to be done immediately as well as what you can expect in terms of maintence. If you want an inspector who is through this is the man/ company you need to hire. When we purchased our last home, which was a brand new spec house, from a track/subdivision builder in Wildwood, Damon found many issues that we would have never known about till our warrantee had expired. As a result we were able to work with the builder to address the issues before we were saddled with the cost and hastles. Over the years and many homes we have owned EE/Damon has saved us from a incomprehensible amount of stress and expense. We have recommended Damon and EE to numerous people. Everyone we know has had the same experience. We would never purchase any property without having Damon do an inspection - even if that meant flying him accross the counrty.

Description of Work: I had an upstairs porch with some cracks in the brick support columns. A piering company had recommended an expensive shoring job. I wanted an independent opinion. An engineer from E.E.I.I. showed me that the porch was not settling, so a piering job was not needed. He indicated that my money would be better spent on having the columns repaired by a good mason.
