Description of Work: We are in an older home. Their prep work on plaster interior walls and outside scraping on the wood trim is done the way it should be done. We have been a customer of theirs for at least 7 years and do not use anyone else. They take pride in their craftsmanship and it shows in their final product.

 + -1 moreEverytime I have use Drake Painting I have been pleased with the results. They work very neatly and the job is done perfectly. They are true professionals. Although, they are not the least expensive, they are the best. Their pricing is fair considering the exceptional quality workmanship they provide. The painters show up when they say and on time. My husband and I are picky people and Drake Painting has never disappointed us. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: We have used Drake Painting multiple times. They fixed settling cracks in decorative painted walls and repainted and copied the decorative painting so you would never know that the paint had been touched up. That time they also fixed settling cracks in a ceiling and repainted . Also, I had 2 different ceilings repaired from water damage and the job was perfect and not one spec of paint on anything else. At that time I was having a wall mounted TV installed and the installers cut the holes for the speakers in the wrong place, my Drake paint repaired and repainted the holes and you would never know their had ever been anything there but smooth wall Recently, I am embassed to say we cheaped out and used some else, who did the messiest job you have ever seen on an exterior door; but after a call to Drake Painting they came out and fixed the messed up job and made it perfect. Along with more repair work from holes made by electrical work we had done. After this past experience, I will never use anyone else but Drake. I have learned that you get what you pay for.

 + -1 moreMr. Drake kept the appointment to come to my home to give me a bid. He was courteous and pleasant.and said that he would telephone me after he had figured out the bid. If we agreed on the price, then he said he would send me a written one. But after several days I hadn't heard from him so I called. I had gotten several bids prior to this and Mr. Drake's bid was too high.
Description of Work: When Mr. Drake came to my home to see what the work was, he said that he would call me after he had figured the bid. When I didn't hear from him, I had to call him. Then he called me back with his bid but it was too high.

Description of Work: We have used Drake Painting several times now. They painted exterior doors, shutters and garage doors. They have just finished two bathrooms that we have had remodled and will handle the patching and painting of a bonus room ceiling. Nothing but good experiences thus far.

 + -1 moreThey do a wonderful job. When I want something to look really, really good I use Drake Painting. If I don't care quite as much (such as my bedroom) I might use a general carpenter (and have done so).
