DHL

DHL was supposed to deliver a computer that I had ordered. DHL made one attempt to deliver my package on 4/30/08 at 11:30 in the morning (I was told that the driver had scanned the package three times and the customer service representative stated that she did not know why he did that). I took off early the next day (5/1/08) in order to get my computer. About 6:30pm I called and was told that the driver returned to the DHL yard at 11:30am that day with my package and did not attempt another delivery. She made arrangements for the package to be delivered after 4:00pm the following day (5/2/08). The following day (5/2/08) I called at 7:00pm and was told that no delivery attempt was made and they did not know why it had not gone out. I was told that my package was still on the truck and a supervisor would call me on Monday 5/5/08. On Monday, I called to inquire about my package and was informed that the package had been stolen, that I would need to call Dell and have them send out another computer. (Why would I have another computer shipped through DHL)? My thoughts: they need to question that driver whose route it was on. DHL should be responsible for getting me another computer. What is disturbing about this is that my credit information was probably in the packaging.

I SHIPPED MY IMPORTANT LOAN DOCUMENTS VIA DHL'S NEXT DAY SERVICE. THE PACKAGE DID NOT ARRIVE AT MY MORTGAGE COMPANY UNTIL 6 DAYS LATER, YES I SAID SIX!!! WAS THAT NEXT ''DAY'' SERVICE OR NEXT ''WEEK'' SERVICE? THAT WAS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL USE DHL.
