Awful. I have never had such a bad experience with a contractor in my life. I found this company on Angie's List and it had good reviews. The removal of the old flooring was a mess. It was done poorly with bits and pieces of the old floor left on the subfloor. The worker then put a new sub-floor of cheap plywood on top of it. The new layer moved when you walked on it and squeaked because of the debris underneath. I told the owner I was canceling the contract due to the poor workmanship on the removal of the floor. He got very irate. He threatened to come to my house, to sue me to put a lien on my property. He sent text after text until I finally blocked him. He then started emailing me. He demanded the full price of the contract (including the installation of flooring). Because of his threats to come to my house, I contact local police. I paid him what I thought was reasonable for the removal of the old flooring and eventually he stopped harrassing me. I would not use this company again because of the poor workmanship and the extremely unprofessional actions of its owner.

Very Professional and high quality work.

To say these guys did and awesome job is an understatement. I couldn't be more pleased. This was a very difficult job. The floor have had carpet for years. The carpet was old looking and worn, however the floors were even worse underneath. There were missing planks, uneven soft spots, vinyl floor tile half taken off, it was a mess. Cid came to the job knowing the floors were horrible. I gave him full disclosure over the phone. I really anticipated him seeing the floors and walking away. A few days prior that's what happened with a different company. Cid was very personable, professional, knowledgeable, informative and fair. He laid out exactly what was going to have to take place with the job and then did the measurements. Now came the part me as a customer dread, the quote. I was floored when he gave me the numbers. The quote was very fair and he said he could get started right away. I was having three rooms done. It took a day and a few hours to complete. The crew worked very diligently to complete the job. They also cleaned as they worked. When they were done the floor looked great. The crew put everything back as they found it. With CVM you can't go wrong. I highly recommend them for your flooring needs.

We didn't hire because we found another contractor who proposed a cheaper repair. Cid of CVM was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, and professional. We would consider him for a future job.

I am delighted by the work Cid and his crew did on our kitchen floor. With a 100-year-old house, you’re never sure what you’re going to find, but Cid showed up and assessed the layers, and told me exactly what needed to be done. Then the crew showed up on time, took care with the appliances, prepared the floor without making a mess, and laid the most perfect tile pattern, exactly as I had described. Truly a joy to work with, and a pleasure to recommend!

The final result was beautiful. They did the work quick and paid attention to detail.

Cid was very nice and explained all my options. The crew arrived on time and performed the work very quickly. My floors look beautiful!

This experience made me question the reviews on Angie’s list: when all the reviews are virtually identical they are probably fake so look at them carefully. He did not like that I asked for a ‘time is of the essence’ clause in the contract and complained multiple times about the ‘changes in the contract’. The other item I wanted was porcelain tile instead of ceramic. He contacted me saying the tile was defective with a video of his workers cutting it with a multi tool over a bucket and wanting me to return it and get ceramic tile. I suggested a tile saw and a diamond blade (duh) and the tile was fine. Every issue was accompanied with the statement ‘we don’t have time to waste’ but then I come to the job after 5 days and no one was on the job and no tile was laid. They finished at 8 pm on a Monday night and Cid starting texting me demanding payment immediately. I was out of town and wanted to inspect the job before final payment. Cid went ballistic and threatened to lien the property after one day. I sent my property manager over to look at the job and he said there were miscut tiles around the toilet and the dishwasher would not fit (previous tile was removed) so he was not comfortable signing off on the job without me seeing it. Cid called me over 30 times over the week leaving threatening voicemails that he was going to lien the property even though I had communicated the issues with the work and that I would be returning the following week. I sent the final payment one week after completion even with the issues because I thought he was a nut that I didn’t want to deal with. I would never hire him again.

Cid got the job done quickly and correctly. Pricing was fair. Would use again.

The work done by CVM was exceptional! Cid (the owner) is amazing to work with! Igor, our installer is so talented and works fast! When they were done my floors were beautiful and clean! Would definitely hire again!

CVM Enterprises is an excellent company and a pleasure to work with. The removal of the old flooring and installation of the new was well executed, professional and beautifully done.

Vinyl tile flooring project took longer than expected. Owner missed the estimate for materials and we ended up having to buy more, which caused further delays. After the second purchase we ended up having a whole box of extra materials that we can’t return. Installer did a poor job on the caulking of our baseboard. Since the project took longer than expected I think they were rushing to get out. We found lots of vinyl materials in vents and adhesive materials stuck to our new floors all over. I expect dust but not these things.

A++++++ From start to finish! It was fantastic working with Cid and his crew. They arrived when expected and stayed late to finish the job. Very friendly, reasonably priced and professional, and the finished job looks even better than I anticipated. If you are looking for a first class business to install flooring, I would definitely recommend CVM. I cannot say enough good things about them.

I can’t thank Cid enough for the wonderful job his company did on our flooring. We replaced the entire main floor of our two story home and the work was done at a very reasonable cost in only four days. And it is extremely well done. If we ever do another project in the future, we would definitely use again and I’ve already passed his card on to my family. Great work!
