Sid's employee installed my hardwood floor a couple months ago. After having several issues with it bubbling up and caving in over the last several months, I ripped up a baseboard and noticed there was absolutely no room for expansion left between the floor and the wall - it butted right up against the wall very firmly. The same was done around the fireplace but I assumed they'd just forgotten about it there since the installer did pencil a line on the board to cut around the fireplace...but didn't cut it. I'll have to rip up all the baseboards and cut the floor around the wall so it can expand and contract like a wood floor does. Very disappointed that I'll have to replace a couple boards because of this, cut the boards, and redo baseboards.

My wife and I are extremely happy with the job CVM Enterprises completed on our upstairs bathroom. I spoke with Cid Moreira (the owner) on a Tuesday morning, and by Friday morning his man Raimundo was at my house working. I had previously gutted the bathroom and CVM did the tile work on the floor and shower walls. Specifically, Raimundo installed cement board and did all the waterproofing, tiling, and grouting. He kept a clean worksite inside the house, even though it was pouring down rain outside. Overall it was a great experience and I have no regrets. See before and after pictures attached.

The response time for contact, hire and complete job was excellent. The tilers were very professional and respectful of our home and us. Would definitely hire again.

All the craftsman working for CVM Enterprises appeared to be highly qualified and very proficient at what they do. They installed over 1100 sq. ft. of waterproof vinyl flooring in my basement and trimmed it out with shoe molding…making the entire basement look fabulous. Davi took charge of installing new Red Oak bullnose treads and risers on my 12-steps and the finished look was stunning. We were totally impressed with the finished product and the speed at which they completed the job.

Let me start by saying two other people that I know used this company with no issues. However, I found the owner, CID, to be rude and had very poor communication skills. They were supposed to arrive the first day early in the morning - Did not show up until after 3 knowing I had to leave at 3:30. No communication until I reached out and then all day the response I got was that they would be there soon. Workers spoke very broken English and had to use translation app on phone. Owner kept denying previous conversations that we had and I had to show him our texts. Now that he has his money, refuses to respond. He cares only about the money, not the work being done. Never showed up at job to inspect the work and expected to be paid in full before the job was complete.

I can strongly recommend the services of CVM Enterprises, Inc. From the first interview to the completion of the job, I was impressed by the work ethic and the quality of the work performed. The men who entered my home were courteous and respectful. I plan on contracting with this company again on future projects.

CVM did a great job. They arrived on the scheduled day and they were very professional. The job was completed in a timely manner and looks very nice.

Work was completed on time and is top quality. Finishing is top notch in every corner. Extra cost was foreseeable due uneven sub floor and extra work did not delay completion. They came back to complete stair nose and t mouldings which we had not purchased.

Awful. I have never had such a bad experience with a contractor in my life. I found this company on Angie's List and it had good reviews. The removal of the old flooring was a mess. It was done poorly with bits and pieces of the old floor left on the subfloor. The worker then put a new sub-floor of cheap plywood on top of it. The new layer moved when you walked on it and squeaked because of the debris underneath. I told the owner I was canceling the contract due to the poor workmanship on the removal of the floor. He got very irate. He threatened to come to my house, to sue me to put a lien on my property. He sent text after text until I finally blocked him. He then started emailing me. He demanded the full price of the contract (including the installation of flooring). Because of his threats to come to my house, I contact local police. I paid him what I thought was reasonable for the removal of the old flooring and eventually he stopped harrassing me. I would not use this company again because of the poor workmanship and the extremely unprofessional actions of its owner.

It was terrific! I can't tell you how pleased we were with the service from the first appointment to the clean up!! These are great people and YOU should hire them!! Thanks CVM!

Very Professional and high quality work.

To say these guys did and awesome job is an understatement. I couldn't be more pleased. This was a very difficult job. The floor have had carpet for years. The carpet was old looking and worn, however the floors were even worse underneath. There were missing planks, uneven soft spots, vinyl floor tile half taken off, it was a mess. Cid came to the job knowing the floors were horrible. I gave him full disclosure over the phone. I really anticipated him seeing the floors and walking away. A few days prior that's what happened with a different company. Cid was very personable, professional, knowledgeable, informative and fair. He laid out exactly what was going to have to take place with the job and then did the measurements. Now came the part me as a customer dread, the quote. I was floored when he gave me the numbers. The quote was very fair and he said he could get started right away. I was having three rooms done. It took a day and a few hours to complete. The crew worked very diligently to complete the job. They also cleaned as they worked. When they were done the floor looked great. The crew put everything back as they found it. With CVM you can't go wrong. I highly recommend them for your flooring needs.

We didn't hire because we found another contractor who proposed a cheaper repair. Cid of CVM was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, and professional. We would consider him for a future job.

I am delighted by the work Cid and his crew did on our kitchen floor. With a 100-year-old house, you’re never sure what you’re going to find, but Cid showed up and assessed the layers, and told me exactly what needed to be done. Then the crew showed up on time, took care with the appliances, prepared the floor without making a mess, and laid the most perfect tile pattern, exactly as I had described. Truly a joy to work with, and a pleasure to recommend!

The final result was beautiful. They did the work quick and paid attention to detail.

This experience made me question the reviews on Angie’s list: when all the reviews are virtually identical they are probably fake so look at them carefully. He did not like that I asked for a ‘time is of the essence’ clause in the contract and complained multiple times about the ‘changes in the contract’. The other item I wanted was porcelain tile instead of ceramic. He contacted me saying the tile was defective with a video of his workers cutting it with a multi tool over a bucket and wanting me to return it and get ceramic tile. I suggested a tile saw and a diamond blade (duh) and the tile was fine. Every issue was accompanied with the statement ‘we don’t have time to waste’ but then I come to the job after 5 days and no one was on the job and no tile was laid. They finished at 8 pm on a Monday night and Cid starting texting me demanding payment immediately. I was out of town and wanted to inspect the job before final payment. Cid went ballistic and threatened to lien the property after one day. I sent my property manager over to look at the job and he said there were miscut tiles around the toilet and the dishwasher would not fit (previous tile was removed) so he was not comfortable signing off on the job without me seeing it. Cid called me over 30 times over the week leaving threatening voicemails that he was going to lien the property even though I had communicated the issues with the work and that I would be returning the following week. I sent the final payment one week after completion even with the issues because I thought he was a nut that I didn’t want to deal with. I would never hire him again.

Cid got the job done quickly and correctly. Pricing was fair. Would use again.
