The repair man was incredibly nice and did a fantastic job. Can't even tell it was damaged. Definitely will hire them in the future if needed.

They never contacted me. I would still like to have this work done but they have still not contacted me so even though they came highly recommended I'm not sure they could be trusted to even start the project, much less complete it. In the meantime major health issues have happened with my husband so I'm not interested in having this done till he's recovered or if and when my life gets back to normal. I'm disappointed that we couldn't get this done.

Scott was prompt, courteous, careful, and he repaired my rocking chair in good order . . . and the price was right! I will be asking for his excellent work in the future. He was careful to wear a mask and practice social distancing. My chair is now usable and comfortable and safe to sit in.

Jeff Gibbs is a master craftsman, a perfectionist, and takes great pride in his work. Those who work for him have the same attributes. Every single project he has done for us has exceeded our expectations. He has always done what he has promised to do, in a timely fashion, and has always been willing to redo something if we are not perfectly satisfied with the work. We would highly recommend him for any project needing to be enhanced, updated, or rejuvenated!

Their prices were quite high. It would have been cheaper to buy new furniture.

The staff was easy to work with when fabric samples were ordered and finishing details had to be decided. Jeff's knowledge of furniture design, from all eras, made the planning fun and informative. Our chrome and fabric sofa came back looking better than we could have envisioned. The pick-up schedule and completion date were very accurate.

They did an excellent job on all of the work. You can’t tell the newly refinished chair from the other four, and the tabletop now looks better than it ever did. The two sections of the table come together really well now. The staff I interacted with personable and very informative. Great overall experience.

They refinished a cedar chest and an antique bedroom set. Their work is excellent, but be aware that they extremely busy. I was in no hurry to get these items back and told them so. It took them about five months to complete everything and that was fine with me. I've had other companies refinish antiques for me in the past and Custom Furniture Works is the cream of the crop. I included photos but they don't do the furniture justice.

I have used this company many times over the years and have always been very satisfied with their work. they are always very curtious and professional and do a fabulous job. I would highly recommend them for any of your furniture needs.

I couldn't be more pleased with new rails. The fit and stain match my bed exactly and they are constructed better than the originals. They took them off the bed, installed the new ones and were very prompt and informative. Great experience!

After contacting several woodworking shops that were unable to assist me, Jeff at Custom Furniture Works, saw no problem with handling my request. I need special cuts and shaping furniture legs to fit a new headboard. Jeff did an excellent job on the legs even staining them to match the original color. I had not expected that. The staff is very professional and provides additional information on request and makes suggestions based on professional experience. If you have any special woodworking requirements or furniture restoration needs, I highly recommend Custom Furniture Works. I will definitely use them again.

Great. They gave me an estimated price over the phone, and when the two men arrived to pick up the couch they verified the estimate. It was a bit difficult for them to get this couch out of my house, but they were very pleasant and got it out with a minimum of difficulty (and no damage). They told me it would take about a week to finish the repair, and that is how long it took. They returned the couch, with new springs, and moved it back inside despite the tight fit. I also had them replace the filling in two of the couch pillows. They charged $400 for the springs (which seemed very reasonable to me) and $160 for the two pillows. They wrapped 2" foam around dacron filler for the pillows, which approximated the firmness of the original pillows.

The company provided a reasonable estimate for the refinishing and recovering work for the two chairs we brought in. They provided a wide choice of fabrics. The work was done very quickly. Everyone we worked with and spoke to was helpful and friendly. They were very reasonable in their charges and did a really beautiful job on the two chairs. We will definitely use them again on future projects.

We are extremely pleased with our sofa. Before needed repairs, the frame was cracked in several places and two of the 3 cushions were very flat and worn (the ones we mainly sat on). We've had the sofa for many years and loved the quality of the leather (top grain), color and size. We debated purchasing a new sofa but would have inherited the same problems down the road so we decided to repair it. Jeff was very detailed in what he would do and the quality/cost of repairs that would take place. He also showed us (and we tested in the shop) the difference in cushion firmness. To make sure we got many years out of our sofa cushions, we opted for the firm. Jeff explained that the cushions would feel very different than when we first purchased it. When we received our revamped sofa, it was so much heavier than when we purchased it. That's the difference between pine (with knots that break!) and oak. I was a bit shocked when I sat on the sofa because the cushions were so firm (this is what we wanted). I was also sitting almost a foot higher than before. I hadn't realized how badly worn our sofa was before the repairs. Needless to say, now that we've had about a month and a half to enjoy our sofa, we love it more and more! We like the firmness of the cushion. We like that we're not sitting in a low rider sofa. I can get off the couch without having to rock back and forth until the momentum gives me lift off. If we need any future repairs/reupholstering (maybe a new fireplace mantel), we will definitely be coming back to Custom Furniture Works. You get what you pay for and it is well worth the money. Great craftsmanship and great people.

Simply outstanding! The in-home repair was very quick, and it is virtually impossible to see where the table was damaged. The restoration of the 100 yr old table was equally impressive. From the woodwork to the repaired mechanicals the work was flawless. They consult with you at every step of the process (including having you come to the shop to discuss stains and finishes) and the work is done quickly at a very fair price.

They did a great job. It looks like new. The men who did the estimate and picked up and delivered the couch were great, Dawn is very efficient and responsive. She made it easy. Although I had to wait a couple of months to get on the schedule, once they picked it up they got it done quickly, sooner than promised. I would definitely recommend them. I will use them again.

They did a wonderful, beautiful, fabulous, job. I had them in my kitchen, and they were all scratched. I gave them a sample of the color I wanted. It wasn't cheap. Before I had it done, I went in and looked at some of the things they had done. It was incredible. You can't do those things yourself. I feel that the price was worth it. I would absolutely use them again.
