 + -1 moreThe roses were brought to the front door of my office building without any paper or wrapping. They died within 4 days, never looking very good. I called the florist and he was very rude, loud and argumentative. He did end up refunding half of the cost, which I found unsatisfactory.
Description of Work: I received a dozen red roses for Valentine's Day, 2007.

 + -1 moreFLORIST WAS EXTREMELY RUDE. HE CLAIMED THE FLOWERS WERE FRESH THAT MORNING, RANTED ABOUT UNRELATED TOPICS, AND THEN HUNG UP ON ME. HE DIDN'T GIVE ME A CHANCE TO RESPOND, EVEN IF I HAD WANTED TO. TO BE HONEST, HIS RANT LEFT ME SPEECHLESS ANYWAY. THIS WAS OUR SECOND BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS FLORIST. A FEW YEARS AGO, MY HUSBAND BOUGHT CUT ROSES THAT DIED WITHIN A DAY. WE DIDN'T REPORT IT THAT TIME.
Description of Work: FLORIST DELIVERED VASE OF CUT FLOWERS BUDS, A GIFT FROM OUT OF TOWN RELATIVES. THE UNBLOSSOMED FLOWERS DIDN'T LOOK TOO HEALTHY. I SET THEM ON A TABLE, OUT OF DIRECT LIGHT. ABOUT 2 HRS LATER, THE FLOWER BUDS LOOKED WORSE, SO I RECUT THE STEMS AND REFILLED THE VASE WITH FRESH WATER. ABOUT 2 HRS AFTER THAT, THE FLOWER BUDS WERE SHRIVELING EVEN MORE, TURNING BROWNER AND GRAYER. SO I CALLED FLORIST TO REPORT THEIR CONDITION.
