+ -1 moreGreat experience. Everyone I dealt with - on the phone or in person - was friendly and helpful. I also liked that they had a very thorough Service Repair Order form and detailed exactly what the problem was and everything that I left with them.
Description of Work: My Apple laptop was not taking a charge, even after I bought a new adapter and battery from an online retailer. Brought in the laptop, both batteries and new adapter (old adapter was definitely kaput!) Computer Solutions called me in 4 or 5 days (when they said they would), to tell me that the problem lay in the NEW adapter - it didn't work. So I was able to return it to the online store for a replacement.

+ -1 moreMy business is on my computer, without it I'm lost and not making money. Computer Solutions was so nice and helpful explaining what would happen, they said 3 to 5 business days, so glad it was the 3 days and not more. They did say it could be $250.00 + if the information needed to be extracted through data recovery. They were able to access it and just had to back up the hard drive. They called me twice, once to say they had the data backed up (the most important thing in my world) and the new hard drive would likely be to their shop the following day. I will say they are a little tough to find as the suite they are in is around the back of the building, they gave me a landmark or I might have never found them. I would recommend them to anyone who has a Computer problem (but as they told me) "We don't do Windows" they are Macintosh only, believe me it's so hard to find a repair shop that really know Apple's products!
Description of Work: My Macintosh computer was making a weird sound and I called Apple (the 800 # and was put on hold Heck) they told me to call this company Computer Solutions. So I called and someone a real person answered the phone! They explained that since my computer was still under warranty there would not be any charge for the parts or labor. I did have to pay to have the data on my computer backed up and saved until the new hard drive was installed. I had my machine back within 3 days! I was thrilled as I have tons of work on my laptop and had to have all the information for my business. I got the new hard drive all my data was put back into the hard drive and I was back in business.
