 + -1 moreI have had to use a friend's computer to chat with tech support. Which meant I had to take my computer and everything associated with it with me. It was difficult to get support to understand that I was using a different computer because mine couldn't get an internet connection. It took an hour of chat. I tried what was suggested, it didn't work. Arranged the next week to use another computer, packed up my stuff, chatted with support for an hour. They agreed to send a new USB installation drive. It was an old version and didn't work. Next week, another chat with support, was then forwarded to further tech chat was told I would be sent the newest version, 10 days later it never arrived. Back to use another computer again, was sent a USB drive the next day. It worked...for about 10 minutes. Signed off, tried again...couldn't get a connection. Today, tried again and I now have a connection, but I never know how long it will last. I have to say the support people chatted nicely, and were never rude, but it was difficult to get things to work.
Description of Work: I was unhappy with the price of Charter. Now I pay $40 a month for 4G Wi-Fi service that only works every once in awhile. I'll be doing work, answering emails, watching movies, and the connection is lost. I have contacted customer service numerous times. No way to fix this. I have a contract, but have gone as long as 3 weeks without an internet connection. They sent a new USB installation drive,and I did get an internet connection, but after about 10 minutes lost it for no apparent reason. Now it is working. Hurray! The whole experience has been very frustrating. I had hoped for better.
