I went to Clark Flooring and made an appointment with Jackie Clark. In a few weeks, a representative from Clark flooring came to my house and took measurements. In a week, Jackie called with an estimate. We accepted the bid. 4 weeks later, Jim Clark and a new hire, Scott, started work. Three days later, they were finished. They were friendly and professional. They finished the job on time and on budget. I would definitely recommend Clark flooring to anyone wanting a new floor.

Great job, fast, efficient and quality work

This is the second time we have had Clark Flooring do the floors at our home. Pricing was slightly better than the competition. Jackie and the sales staff are very easy to work with. The installation crew was also very good - on schedule, minimal mess, excellent results. The floors look great ! The entire process was a very good experience.

Clark floor came in and refinished our hardwood floors in the dining room, living room, hallway and 2 bedrooms, and put a carpet runner on the stairs. They also recommended someone who replaces banisters. They did a fantastic job on the floors and carpet. The banister was amazing also. The job took 5 days to complete. The office staff was amazing and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again and recommend them.

It was an excellent experience all around. The installers arrived when they were scheduled; and the job took less than a day -- something we had not expected. They moved all the furniture in order to install the carpet. Some of the furniture was large and heavy but it was not problem for them. The installers were pleasant and professional. We can see no seams and the carpet looks great. The price was as reasonable as we could find in the area. We would use them again and highly recommend them.

The flooring in my entire house was redone beautifully and with complete satisfaction. The initial process of selecting materials was an easy task, as the staff at the store was extremely helpul . They answered all questions, showed me all the possibilities, and allowed me to take home any samples that I needed to make final selections. The bulk of the work was performed by Jim Clark, the company's owner. He was responsible for the refinishing of the wood flooring. He was probably the best and hardest worker with whom I have dealt over the last ten years. He was very well organized and efficient, and his attention to detail was outstanding. The result of his efforts exceeded all expectations. Visitors to my home have commented on the beautiful work that was done. I would highly recommend Clark Flooring for any flooring needs. The entire experience exceeded all expectations and deserves an A+ rating.

I like the carpet. They were very accommodating. I thought they have a huge selection as far as carpet. I didn't look at flooring and tiles or anything like that. The girl was very knowledgeable and she answered all my questions. The carpet i ended up getting is a lot thicker than any place else. So far, it has been great.

I was very impressed with everything about Clark Flooring. Everyone from sales to estimator to installation crew was friendly, no pressure, fabulous workers, and yet low key. The brother who did the measuring, offered things that we might not have thought of: taking care of the floor squeak, fixing a poorly installed floor drain in the laundry room, staining some trim that should be replaced. Just a relaxed discussion. The estimate was lower than another one I received and I just felt comfortable with everyone at Clark. The owner actually worked on the installation with an apprentice. I was told they would arrive between 7and 8AM. The doorbell rang at 7:00 with materials and the installers arrived maybe 10 or 15 minutes later. Everything was done by 2:15PM, including clean-up. The estimate was right on for materials leaving us 4 vinyl tiles for emergency repairs. Perfect. There were a couple of very minor adjustments to be made a few days later. I called the shop mid-morning and the adjustments were complete by 2:30PM. The entire family was very friendly with pleasant humor that just made the job and disruption much less stressful than it might have been 2 days before Thanksgiving. I don't think I could be happier with the entire experience.

Clark Floor has done a great job on my 100+ year old floor refinishing. Floors were in pretty rough shape and now look amazing. Two years ago, Clark installed a new hardwood floor for my Kitchen so I called on them again. I was again extremely satisfied. And as you know, in these old Lafayette Square houses ( circa 1886), upgrades are never without interesting challenges - such as moving my furniture up and down stairs and small corridors. And showing up Saturday morning to get my furniture back in my bedroom so I don't have to camp out in the den another night. Oh and one more thing, when Ms Lily Freckles (cat) broke out of the lock down nanoseconds after the final coat went on...they did not complain about touching up her kitty paw prints !! Jim Clark and Jackie Clark will treat you well! PS They also did a great job installing new carpet in my huge Guest bedroom, stairs, and landing.

They were fine and had no problem with them.

They did a great job. The installers were very professional and nice. They cleaned up after themselves as best they could. I love the way it looks! I'm just waiting for the grout to cure to get back in there.

Very easy company to work with, work completed earlier than expected. Jim, the owner, did a great deal of the work himself and we were impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and cooperativeness. Ran into a problem in the middle of the job, our fault, and Jim went the extra mile to correct it and complete the job on time. We are very pleased with the way everything was handled and definitely recommend Clark.
