Mr. Christopher & group did our kitchen 9 yrs ago/2010. They did a great job. Totally custom! They helped to design/offer suggestions and then they took out other cabinets and put theirs in. There were some issues..ie. soffit was offset, small trim was missing, you have to keep an eye on everything... basically I was the general contractor.. hiring in the electrician, floor guy, tile, windows and electric, etc... But all went well in the end.. and nine yrs later we still love it and it all looks good, held up and works well... SO with that experience we decided to have him to our bathroom vanity... I knew it would be tricky.. but we liked their work and could get the exact odd size we needed for our south city home... It took forever to get the cabinet (4-6wks).. .I guess b/c it was a small job for them they kept putting it off... then they put the wrong glass in the doors.. and had to come bk after to get it... The cabinet itself is perfect size! Very cute and works well... BUT the prob is that the white paint the put on... well I dont' think they prep'd the wood first... b/c it just all started popping and cracking off!!!! Doors, sides, etc.. When I talked to Mr.Christopher he said he would redo it.. prob is that it was already installed.. the onlyl thing I could take out was 1 drawer and 2 doors... They redid them and they are holding up better.. but the rest is still peeling.. He said that 'they tell people if they use it in the bathroom it can't get wet or will do this..." Uh no... no one said anything to me about it.. AND IF this is the case then why not do something different in your process OR inform us about what to do or not to do.. ie.. don't get the cabinet w/ paint.. choose a stain... etc.. So that is my story... They have good stuff to the right size... but keep an eye on them... expect to wait awhile for your stuff to be done... and don't use them for bathroom cabinets... If you need something that stays dry and is free standing ... I'm sure it would be fine :)

I love Christopher Custom Cabinets! OH MY GOSH you get such great craftsmanship for a great price! Def a small fam biz feel but they do a lot of work all around, big and small! In 2010 they did a total kitchen tear out.. w/ excellent cabinets & countertops! They really take the wear and tear! My friends and fam had their kitchens redone at the same time.. and their kitchens are NOT fairing so well :-( We did pay about 15% more.. but that didn't matter to us.. and really got EXXXACTLY what we wanted that was an excellent design for our small kitchen space. HUGE bonus! Which included building a soffit, additional shelving in odd corners and over radiator, breakfast counter WITH a pencil/desk drawer which is great b/c I do all my bills there as I look out the bk window into our garden.... really smart built in rolltop & slide doors so they wouldn't interfere w/ ceiling fan but would enable us to have a lot more storage space..... counterdepth cabinet/built in for frig, spice drawer/rack, cutting board cabinets, pot drawer, trash & recycling drawer/shelving... as well as all soft close drawers/doors! And they did the countertop too which we love! He went out of his way to put bk dishwasher, fan, drop in sink, etc.. The thing was that I had to be the general contractor and coordinate the ceiling guy, tile guy, floor guy, electrician, etc.. but I saved a TON! and it looks amazing! BUT I BET that Joe & Greg would work w/ a contractor if nec....the WHOLE tear out and all cabinets/counter was about $8-9K!!!! And we have our dream kitchen! LAST thing we had done was just recently.. the bath room vanity. Like our kitchen, we are redoing our bath to match the 1920s Arts and Crafts style. We were looking ALL OVER to find a vanity.. It was really hard to find something that would fit our weird space, was made well, looked cool NOT TO MENTION WOULD FIT our current plumbing so we wouldnt' have to tear out the wall to alter it.. UGH!When I said.. "Hey let's just call Joe & see what he can do?!" We got EXACTLY what we wanted! SOO COOL! Exact size we needed for the space, drawer on bottom, 2 doors that HAVE florentine/bathroom glass and a pull out upper sink drawer to use for our toothbrushes/paste! We went all over the place from Hoods & Menards to HomeDepot & RSI, and many other top name places.. and even the cheap ones were nearly $500! upwardds of $1200! We had our BUILT to our specifications for $350!! Now I had to go get a sink top for about $175, but that was fine b/c we got JUST what we wanted/needed for the space aren't going to have to pay extra to move plumbing around. Savings! AND after all the tile is in we plan to have a little cabinet built to match the vanity! Again.. b/c it is is custom.. and sizes and floors and walls in our home are not even/can vary.. especially w/ an old house.. I would say that you have to keep an eye on them OR anyone who does your work for you... to make sure it is what you want.. We had a couple oopsies/bumps but they were remedied.. and in the end.. all was OK.. So I learned in order to get a great handmade produce at a good price, I had to be flexible/take a look to make sure it is what I want.. On the vanity.. I went to pick it up and it had the wrong glass put in it originally.. but they didn't fight us.. and fixed it right away.. had it the next week.. ALSO IF you get something totally built in like our kitchen.. it is our feeling that instead of getting 1/4 inch extra space to fit in dishwasher, microwave, etc.. to go w/ 1/2 inch.. b/c we had had some issues w/ space being almost too tight.. mostly b/c we have an old house that is not even... but again.. they did what was nec to make it all work in the end.. Next I want them bk to give me a bid on build in wall shelving & closet for our foyer!

I had Christopher Custom Kit & Bath come out to give me a bid on my bathroom. We got their name from PJ who did the tile in our kitchen.. who by the way.. does great work.. Talented guy... Saw the fotos of their previous work and was really impressed... They came out straight away. They were very professional, responsive and punctual. Although in the end we choice to use a dif company, I still wanted to write a review to let others know how nice they were and how much I appreciated their time & expertise. I wouldn't hesitate to have Joe & the gang in our home & would consider having them bid out another project for us in the future. :-)

Over all it was excellent. The price and their responsiveness made them excellent. The quality of their work was also excellent. I would use them in the future.
