CHARTER RESIDENTIAL

Great! They saved me a bunch of money by switching from Century tel & direct TV. Well worth it.

Charter does very well overall, but their competition in my area is, honestly, pretty lame. Speed on internet excellent; cable service very reliable; phone service good (I only have a land line because the cellular service in my house isn't good). Not many outages, although high winds and/or heavy raincan knoeck them out (and we have buried cables in our development). My only complaint is "price creep" - they either try to get you to buy more than you want, or just increase the pricing every year. So - I call, threaten to leave (or, more to their fear, "unbundle") and get another good deal for another year (tell them you'd like the deal they offer "new" customers, they'll find a way to say yes). It's a hassle, but worth the money to do that. If they didn't, I probably would leave, despite the good service and nice products they have - just not worth the $300/month I'd be charged f I didn't negotiate.
