HE SAID HE WOULD BE AVAILABLE IN ABOUT 3 HRS TO DO REPAIR, NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I CALLED AGAIN AND HE SAID HE WAS RUNNING LATE AND WOULD CALL IN ABOUT AN HOUR, NEVER CALLED. I CALLED AGAIN ABOUT 3:00 PM AND HE SAID HE WAS AROUND THE CORNER AND WOULD CALL IN ABOUT AN HOUR, NEVER CALLED. AFTER 3 CALLS TO HIM I CALLED ANOTHER ELECTRICIAN AND HE CAME AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. I NEVER DID HEAR FROM CHAPNICK. I WOULD NOT CALL AGAIN.

THIS HAPPENED ON A WEEKEND AND THE ONLY COMPANY WE COULD GET TO EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE WAS CHAPNICK. AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CONVERSATIONS TRYING TO EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM OVER THE WEEKEND, THAT WE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO POWER, THE COMPANY AGREED TO COME OUT. WE WAITED ALL DAY SATURDAY, THEN WITH THE PROMISE OF MONDAY MORNING. THAT WAS ACCEPTABLE TO US SINCE WE KNEW NO ONE ELSE WOULD. MONDAY MORNING AT 10:00 AM, WE AGAIN HAD TO CALL TRYING TO GET A COMMITMENT THAT SOMEONE WOULD COME, IF NOT WE NEEDED TO CALL SOMEONE ELSE. WE DID CALL SEVERAL OTHER COMPANIES, HOWEVER CHAPNICK'S CALLED AT APPROXIMATELY 1:30 PM. THE TWO ELECTRICIANS THAT WERE SENT WERE POLITE AND THE YOUNGER MAN DID ANSWER AND EXPLAIN ALL MY QUESTIONS IN DETAIL AND TO MY SATISFACTION AS TO THE REASON FOR OUR PROBLEM. I WOULD NOT, HOWEVER, HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN DUE TO THE LACK OF RESPONSIVENESS AND THE UNDERSTANDING THAT YES, INDEED, WE DID NEED AN ELECTRICIAN.
Description of Work: WE HAD A POWER FAILURE IN BOTH OF OUR SECOND STORY BATHROOMS. THE SWITCH WAS REPLACED AND WIRES TIGHTENED IN THE SWITCH SOCKET. THEY MADE A RECOMMENDATION TO CHANGE THE LIGHT BULBS IN THE NEW LIGHT FIXTURES TO ACCOMMODATE THE WIRING IN OUR 25 YEAR OLD HOME SINCE BOTH BATHROOMS ARE ON THE SAME CIRCUIT.
