Nick was great to work with from the beginning. He was honest and courteous, and he gave us both the best timeline and estimate of the A-listed Angie's List contractors from whom we got estimates. He and his employees did quality work on budget, and they were very respectful of our home and family while they were here.

We had roughly 10 contractors, all A-rated Angie's List providers, come give us bids for our guest bathroom remodel. In the end we did not choose to with CaseyCo, but I must emphasize that by far and away, Nick from CaseCo was the most professional, punctual, knowledgeable and personable man that visited our home. He pointed our parts of the job that none of the of other contractors even considered, his bid was more detailed and professional, and his responses were more timely than any of his competition. We have a much larger remodel we'd like to have done in a couple of years and I will definitely be calling Nick again.

I talked to to other Angie's List remodelers before hiring Casey Co. One did not get back with me, the other one's quote was way over my budget. Perhpas I should have explained that I was not a perfectionist -- he assumed I would want all new cabinets. But I liked Nick's demeanor and attitude from the start. Nick found ways to reuse materials, He did the running for me whenever appropriate, picking up supplies and cabinets. His granite installer saved me some money by using a partial slab he had left over from another job. Nick and his associates and subs were all pros -- efficient, reliable, courteous, and they cleaned up daily before they left. I am very happy with the job Casey Co did. This is a second generation remodeling company and I guess Nick learned from his father that the way to build a business is with repeat customers. I hope to remodel a bathroom soon and I will be calling him then.
Description of Work: Nick Casey remodeled my kitchen. It was a relatively small project but not an easy one. I wanted a stacked washer and dryer installed in my kitchen, which meant cabinets top and bottom had to be removed and a hole drilled through a thick exterior brick and masonry wall. Two new cabinets were ordered and installed. Nick also found a way to reposition one of the cabinets that had to make way for the washer/dryer. The old countertops were removed and replaced with granite. The job ended up entailing a new garbage disposal and faucet, too.

We had lots of hiccups along, which was made more difficult by the fact we were out of state during the remodel. However, Nick and his crew were responsive and offered up solutions to various problems that had arisen during the remodel process. Nick was quick to call and send photos that allowed me to view issues and see his progress. We evaluated a number of companies, but CaseyCo was the most professional and had the best critical thinking/problem solving, which was invaluable given the age and condition of our home. This was the only company/professional that showed up when they said they would and they proved to be highly efficient. I had hired other professional, electric, plumbing, cabinet maker, and Nick worked well and coordinated efforts without prompting. We will definitely use him again.
Description of Work: We had crown molding put up, and quarter round put down. We had the kitchen remodeled, i.e. additional wall space put in, cabinets installed, and kitchen sink installed.

Caseyco was very timely about returning phone calls and arranging date for in home estimate. They promptly returned a professionally written estimate that was very comparable (and lower than some) to other estimates that we obtained for full bathroom remodel. We were very pleased with their suggestions and ideas for remodel. Due to our own timelines (baby due) needed for project completion, we selected an alternate contractor. However, we maintained communication after our estimate and plan to recommend them to friends/family and use them in future as other home repair needs arise.

He always calls and lets me know when he is coming. He is prompt. He calls after the job is done a couple of times to make sure everything is okay. He really follows through which I like.
Description of Work: He installed a new kitchen counter, a double bowl stainless steel sink, and a garbage disposal. The cost covered him making our kitchen counter from scratch, installing the sink, and the installation of the disposal.

I have known him for a long time. His father was a contractor who used to do work for us. This person, Nick, has taken over the business. He gave me an estimate for putting a piece of siding back that had come off in a storm and also for straightening out my attic vent. He was very responsive. He bid $150. I happened to be at a dental appointment when the work took place, and when I came back it was done. The quality of the work was fine. He wasn’t absolutely the cheapest, but his price was okay.

They came when they said they would. They were here for 4 or 5 days and they worked straight through except for a small lunchtime.

Our house is about 20 years old and was in need of a new shower stall in the master bathroom. Nick and his team came out and gave me an estimate, suggesting materials to use for the shower stall and where I should go to order it. He also knew someone who does granite work, so I decided to replace the vanity top with granite. Nick said they would begin by tearing out the old shower while waiting for the onyx to be delivered, then do the tile floor. Since he had a little time in between jobs, he accompanied me to Lowes and helped me pick out the tile, faucets, and a few other things, which was really helpful. Though there were some problems with the company that supplied the onyx, Nick handled it all personally and got the materials delivered just a day or two late. (if he hadn't intervened, the materials would have been 1-2 weeks late!) He also managed to get me a refund on some materials I didn't need, which this company doesn't usually do. Nick and his team ripped out the old flooring, shower walls and base, put in new drywall, and installed the tile floor. While waiting for the shower materials, they installed the new vanity top and faucet. All the work was beautifully done in a professional and timely manner. I love the way the bathroom looks now! The new faucets and lights are a big improvement in the other bathrooms and kitchen as well. Nick and his team are friendly, professional, helpful and polite. They cleaned everything up beautifully and there was no trash or mess left for me. They also installed some window well covers in my basement, which really helped during all the rain, because they were overflowing into the basement before that. They are installed securely and I've had no problem with water coming in since then. Nick has done work for me before, and I will definitely call him in the future whenever I need something done. I would definitely recommend Nick and his team to others; I can't say enough good things about them!
Description of Work: Tore out old shower stall, including drywall, tore out vinyl flooring, took off old vanity top in master bathroom. Also removed light fixture over vanity. Installed new shower walls and base with onyx, installed new tile floor, new granite countertop, new faucets in shower and vanity, new towel rack, and new shelf above bathtub. Replaced a small piece of baseboard that was worn out, and retouched paint in various places that were affected by the work. Also replaced faucets in two bathrooms and the kitchen, installed new vanity light in one bathroom. Also installed window well covers in the basement on two windows.

Nick Casey was very prompt in giving us an estimate and the work was done within a few weeks. The lights look beautiful and are positioned perfectly; the weatherstripping was done nicely and makes a difference in the cold weather; the shut-off valves make it much more convenient to do work in the bathrooms and they were installed very well. Nick was very polite, friendly and professional throughout. We'll be calling him again for a lot more things we need to have done! I would highly recommend Caseyco and Nick Casey.
Description of Work: We had outdoor coach lights installed on both sides of our garage doors, which required new wiring. They also replaced weatherstripping around the front and back doors and they put shut-off valves and new supply lines in three bathrooms.

The work took a while to complete but it was very detailed, intricate custom wood work. I am very glad to have found someone with the skill to custom-make this mantel piece to my specifications.

Very good design skills and quality construction. Many visitors have commented about the quality of our bookcases. Work took longer than we expected, but we were warned that company was busy with other projects. Also, the work was done offsite until the final construction. The final construction was done in a timely manner.
Description of Work: They constructed two custom bookcases on both sides of the fireplace and new mantle. Both of them were made of oak, as requested. They also moved two electrical outlets and a cable TV outlet.

Caseyco's work is of top-notch. I worked closely with Brian Casey throughout the project, and he consulted my wife and me on all options. He and his workers showed up when promised and finished everything, including the punch list at the end. Months later, when the cable TV connection didn't work, he came back and fixed it for free.
Description of Work: They remodeled the basement damaged by flooding. They cut a new opening in foundation for basement egress well, for fire safety. As well as, provided drainage for egress well, and for downspouts. They finished basement with drywall and wainscoting, and finished laundry room and installed new electrical panel.
