I discovered I had no hot water one Thursday morning, when I was leaving town the next day and had a house sitter planned to stay and care for my animals. I figured out it was probably a bad circuit breaker. Casey Electric responded promptly to my call, sent out an electrician who had to do some rearranging of my electrical box as well as replace the circuit breaker, and I had hot water again in a few hours. Very pleased with the service.

We had someone working here who had a shock, and we had concerns because it is an older house. He had been taking wallpaper off in the bathroom and he said he'd got a shock touching the wall, so we were afraid that a switch or something could not be quite right. Casey Electric came around and did a survey where they tested out different things. They found a couple of things that we got corrected. There were a couple of switches that didn't test right, and there were some bits that weren't up to code - they needed grounding or something like that. So Casey Electric did those minor changes, and we felt more secure that things were ok. I remember the billing was reasonable. They were on time. It was really a very pleasant experience. Someone came to us and explained what the service was and then we contracted with them to come and do it. Then they scheduled the actual work time and they were very punctual for that too.

I made an appointment for installation with Casey Electric. The arrived a few minutes before the appointed time, removed the old light fixtures, installed the new ones in such a fashion that they look good and seem sturdy, packed up the old lights in the boxes from which they had unpacked the new lights, and cleaned up the work area thoroughly. I couldn't have asked for more and I can give them my highest recommendation.

The electrician (Ken) sent by the company was very experienced with ceiling fan installations and clearly knew what he was doing. Everything went smoothly with the installation of the fan for the vaulted ceiling. However, when he unpacked the other fan, he discovered there were no screws in the box which were needed to put the blades together and to attach the blades to the fan motor. Knowing we were anxious to get this job completed, he spoke twice with the company where the phones were purchased to confirm they did have the needed screws and he could pick them up early the next day. He then called his "boss" and got permission to go by the fan store at 7:00 the next morning to get the screws and finish the job. He was here before 7:30 the next morning (with the missing screws) and the second fan was installed by 8:00 am. He did not have to take this extra step but did so because he wanted to have the job completed to our satisfaction. Had Ken not done this, we would have had to wait for two more days to have the fan company send someone out to finish the job. The cost for the work came in almost $100 under the estimate and we dealt with a highly professional and knowledgeable electrician. This was the first time we used Casey Electric but they will get all of our future electrical work. I highly recommend this company for any and all electrical work.
