Burke Floor Company

Mr. Burke was one of 4 estimates (big and small companies) that I received. Before I saw any of the numbers, I was leaning towards Burke Floor. Then, he came in $400-$500 dollars below all the others. I believe this was due to his abundant knowledge and efficiency. During the estimate evaluation, Mr. Burke's vast knowledge was obvious. He only refinishes floors on a periodic basis while inspecting floors is part of his regular undertaking (he has an additional certification for inspecting that the others did not). The combination of decades of installing, refinishing, and inspecting floors allowed him to see things that others did not. I also appreciated that Mr. Burke was the one that gave me the estimate and did all the work (with help from his brother Mike). I knew that he would do what he said and take pride in his work. The floors turned out great! There was one board that didn't take the stain for one reason or another, but the brothers took care of it immediately. I would highly recommend this company for any flooring needs. You can trust Pat Burke and that means a lot.

I received bids from five floor companies, one of which I had used in the past, and Burke Floor Company was the most affordable. Not only was the service affordable, but the workmanship was top notch and the attention to detail was impressive. I am very pleased with the work Burke Floor Company performed and would highly recommend their services to friends, family, and co-workers.

The original finish was thick and yellowing. Burke Floor sanded, repaired, and refinished the existing floor including replacing damaged floor. In addition to this they provided wood vent covers coated to match the floors at a fraction of the price available on the market. The finish applied was a "natural" color with a very high traffic finish. The floors are perfect and we couldn't be happier with the outcome and have already recommended Burk Floor to other friends and colleagues. We will have the floors replaced in our office and bedrooms next spring (2014) and will use them again without question.
