Met Mike 2 years ago. Very nice gentleman. This is a second job for him, so he did not show up on a regular basis. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt for a long time, but unfortunately the inconsistency became too much. Waiting 3 weeks for my weekly cut was not acceptable. Additionally, no receipts were left, felt I was being charged for services not received. He became angry on many occasions when challenged. He decided to stop my service without notice, leaving a single Mom without mower high and dry.

My neighbor has seemed taken over. He cuts his grass and comes over and cuts mine. He is dependable, reliable, and affordable. He has been nice to me. He came the first time and helped clean the fence lines and that was good. I am glad he did that.

He did my lawn work, but couldn't do all of the job because he was busy taking care of other customers and charged me full price for doing half of the job. He left here extremely angry!

When Mike came to do the job, everything went well. When I phoned him after to come back to trim more off a couple of bushes, he said he would, and then never did. I would have given all A's if he had come back.

Mike did a great job cleaning up a couple of very overgrown flowerbeds and making them look brand new. We needed a rental property's beds to look better and be easier to handle. Mike did exactly what I asked him to do and did a nice job of it. He is very detailed when getting the information about the job and he is good at communicating with the client. I appreciate a provider that returns phone calls, texts and emails in a timely manner and Mike is ON IT! His price was good and the end result was great! I will definitely give Mike a call next time I need a job done at my home or my rental property.

They did what they said they would do and sent me an invoice. They let me pay when we got back.

Mike Dale was wonderful to work with, very professional. He quickly responded to my call, as well as quickly provided the estimate. I had received several estimates that were unbelievably high and Mike's was much more reasonable. He asked several questions and used great detail in determining what would be needed for the job. He held to our agreed upon schedule. The projected need to take place over a weeks time and he communicated what would happen each day for the project as well as gave updates throughout the project. I am very pleased with the finished results and so are my kids - they gained a huge addition to our yard to play in. We had a couple of pet hamsters who are buried back in that section that have rock markers. Mike took extra care to locate the rocks and make sure that they weren't lost in the cleanup project. He also added to the grade for the sump pump drain as I was concerned with how it would drain after the mulch was laid. Lastly, he was very conscientious to make sure that the work area as well as my driveway were cleaned up every day. Overall I'm thrilled with the outcome and the overall experience.

We recently relocated here from out of state. We closed on a new house in the area at the beginning of July, but didn't move in until August, so we needed someone to care for the lawn in our absence. Mike came in and took great care of the property while we were gone. He even bought a hose and a sprinkler to water the lawn, since there wasn't one here. He took great care in making sure the property didn't appear vacant, and things didn't get too overgrown. Once we moved in, we decided we also wanted him to weed all the beds and along the fence in the back, and to trim several bushes and trees that were in desperate need of pruning. Mike put in a full day's work and did it all himself, and it looks great. His regular rate for our lawn is very reasonable, and we have obviously had to pay him extra for all this extra work, but he does such a great job, so it's totally worth it. Mike is also very personable and professional. He makes sure to let me know when he is coming, and checks in regularly to make sure everything is looking good. He also took the time to call and warn me when he found praying mantis in our yard, since we have a toddler who runs around back there. Mike is honestly one of the nicest people I've ever worked with in this sort of capacity, and I highly recommend his service!

Mike was super-fast in responding to my initial inquiry call, and followed up with calls and services in a timely fashion. He is, as one other consumer described, a "can-do" guy who is personable and efficient. He came back to remove a bush that he hadn't originally had room for on his truck, and was nice enough to also remove a tree limb that had fallen in my back yard. He was very nice to work with and I would recommend his services!

Mike went above and beyond in taking care of our yard. We closed on our St. Louis residence on May 23rd, but did not arrive in St. Louis until June 12th. Up until our arrival, Mike took care of our yard. He was highly professionally in responding to my request for service within minutes of my initial call. The next day he was at the house looking at the yard and making sure it was not overgrown. We were truly fortunate to have found Mike on Angies List! Mike also went above and beyond in the removal of unwanted ultra-heavy items from our basement.

Mike Dale is very conscientious. He promptly returned my phone call and scheduled an appointment to provide me an estimate of cost. He arrived at the agreed upon time. I found him to be very professional.

I own a property in St. Louis but I live in another city. The house is temporarily vacant and someone was supposed to be attending to the lawn but a friend of mine went by over the weekend and said the grass was about two feet high! I was concerned that the neighbors were hating me, and I also didn't want to invite vandalism to what looked like an abandoned house. So I looked up Mike on Angie's List and called him on Monday morning. I left a message and he called me back within half an hour. I asked (okay, I begged) if he could possibly go and mow at least the front that very day. He was in the middle of another job but he made arrangements to get over to my house that afternoon. In less than six hours from the time I looked him up on Angie's List, the lawn was mowed. And not only did he do the front, and weed it, but he also did the back, which is very, very large. I'm sure it was a tremendous amount of work based on the before and after pictures that he texted to me! Mike was very friendly and professional, and he strikes me as a can-do guy. I'd definitely recommend him.

Bulldog's Lawn Service responded very quickly after I called him, so that was very positive. I kind of wanted him to do some gardening work, but I think he really is more just like a lawn guy. I think I he over shot on that. Other than that he was pleasant and the price was okay. He did do some work in the garden, but I got the impression that maybe he shouldn't do the garden work, but just the lawn work. The price was fair. The lawn work I would give his quality was an A, but on the garden work he was not much of a gardener. He really did get back to me amazingly fast. I am trying to decide if I would use him again or not, but probably yes.

Quick service from providing quote to getting started. Flexible to my schedule. Removed old bush in front first, which was helpful to see the area without it to decide on plants to purchase. Laid mulch and planted in less than 2 days. Returned again to clear out fallen leaves.

Answered my call immediately. Came and cut my lawn every week. Good Job, nice man-Mike Dale.

We purchased a foreclosed home and the yard was in very poor condition. Most of the yard was covered in weeds as high as four feet. I tried contacting several landscape companies for bids. The companies came out to look at the yard but then would never call me back or email an estimate. I assumed it was too much work. I found Mike on Angie's List and am so glad that I did! Mike was very professional and prompt. He responded to me quickly as well as quickly giving me a bid. He completed the work in a very timely manner. Since we were not living at the home or present when most of the work was being completed Mike sent pictures of his progress. He went above and beyond! I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and will definitely use the service again.

Mike is great! He takes care of numerous rental properties I own. Any time I need to add a property or have him do a special cleanup he's there in a timely fashion. Mike is someone you can most definetly COUNT ON!

We spoke on the phone, then Mike came by to give us a bid. After a couple reschedulings, mostly due to weather issues, Mike came to do the work. When it was too much to finish in one day, he returned. He did a great job. We were happy, our neighbors were thrilled.

He did a fantastic job, not only did he do the mowing and hauled away all of the clipping but he cleaned the patio and did an outstanding job. We will continue to use his service in the future.

We were very impressed with Mike's professionalism. He called back the same day that I left a message and provided expectations for giving an estimate. He called back in a couple of days with the lawn mowing estimate which we thought was very reasonable in cost. We were over at the residence a few days later to perform some repairwork, and he happened in the area and was able to give a quote on extensive trimming and weeding in the area. He invoiced us a few days later. Mike provided very professional service with a smile.

I CALLED MIKE AND SET UP A DAY FOR HIM TO COME LOOK AT MY YARD. HE CAME OVER WITHIN 2-3 DAYS, LOOKED AT THE YARD ASKED SOME QUESTIONS, AND GAVE ME A PRICE. IT WAS REASONABLE AND WE SET UP A DATE. HE ACTUALLY CAME A DAY EARLY TO DO A LITTLE WORK , THEN CAME OVER ON THE DAY WE SET UP DID THE TREES AND LEFT. WHEN I GOT HOME I CALLED HIM AND HE CAME BACK TO GET PAID AND WHILE TALKING TO HIM ASKED HIM ABOUT THE 2 BUSHES IN THE FRONT YARD. HE GAVE ME A PRICE AND I AGREED AND HE DID IT THAT DAY!

I gave Mike a call on a Monday to get a quote on mowing and edging our lawn. He came out that evening and quoted $50 for that first time. He also gave me a quote for regular service (coming every 2 weeks) of $85. The next morning I called back to schedule the service, and he said he could come out the following day (Wednesday). (The day I called back was rainy, so he couldn't come that day.) By the time I got home on Wednesday evening, our lawn looked beautiful. He mowed and edged, and even disposed of a large downed branch. He ended up having to bag the grass clippings because our grass was so long, so he had to charge $10 extra. $60 still seemed like a good price to me. Overall, I was really satisfied with his work. He answered his phone immediately. He was very friendly. And he seemed really eager to please, telling me that if I had any problems whatsoever, he would fix them immediately. I would definitely use him again for lawn mowing, and I even asked for a quote on mulching. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Second time we have hired Mike to do yardwork for us and this was an excellent job done again. Mike works hard and focused and got everything done in a very short time period. Just like last time, cleaned up after himself and did exactly what we needed how we needed it done. Just can't complain about anything with this guy, he is quick, efficient, friendly, well priced, hard working, etc. Would willingly refer him to anyone needing yardwork or garden work of any level.
