 + -1 moreBryan is a superior craftsman and has worked on two major projects for us - a 150 year old house and a major office buildout. He only uses top of the line materials and has a superb eye for color. He does excellent work and has done work for several of our friends. His edges are razor straight. Walls and trim wear beautifully. There is never any mess. We cannot say enough about Bryan and his work. He is a pleasure to work with on any project. We highly recommend him!

 + 1 moreGreat. Bryan is a perfectionist, and wants the house to be perfect when he is done. He recommended hiring a and quot;metal guyand quot; to cover the outside window frames and some of the gables with white siding, rather than painting them now and having to paint them again in a few years. They look great. He painted all of remaining exterior woodwork and brick, and even touched up some of the painting I had done before. He noticed a few things that needed to be done but had not been on the original contract, such as tuck pointing the chimney and repairing a rotten board. He took care of them without charging much more. He is probably not the cheapest contractor around, but it's great to have a team that can handle whatever comes up and not have to get more people to come, and not have to worry about the quality of the work.
Description of Work: Removed old front door and sidelites, installed, primed and painted new front door and sidelites. Installed door hardware.Installed new front storm door.Replaced 8 sets of shutters.Powerwashed whole house exterior (two-story).Scraped, primed and painted exterior woodwork and brick.Repaired damage to two interior window grilles.Repaired rotten exterior wood as needed.Tuck pointed brick chimney.

We accepted his bid and were pleasantly surprised about how quickly he was able to fit us in and then to get the job done. The team was very pleasant and cleaned up completely at the end of the day. The paneling and exterior look great. We are very pleased with the final result. We would definitely use Bryan again.
Description of Work: Bryan came out to provide us an estimate on replacing 2 panels of masonite siding that were damaged as well as a few boards that were also in need of replacement. Looking throughout the home's exterior he was able to point out a few other areas that could be caulked and lastly we had a very loose stair rail that we asked him to look at.

Description of Work: Brian seemed very reponsive and came out quickly after I called. He was going to gve me a bid on some exterior painting. I also told him at the time, I had an interior job to do. I called him about a week later for the bid. He said some other jobs came in and he would be unable to give able to do the work by the end of the season. I told him that was fine, becuase the work may end up getting done in the spring. I then made an appointment with him to look at the interior job. He did not show up for the appointment. I called to see if it was a scheduling mix up and the call was not returned. I am not giving him a D or and F because I am sure that he does good work and is reasonably priced from other reports and other people I have talked to. In this particular situation, he was not punctual or responsive.

 + 0 moreOverall, the job was fine. The experience wasn't very good though and I will never use them again. The owner was very overbearing. They had to cut through the kitchen to get to the room to do the work, and a couple of times they showed up unannounced and came in without knocking. I asked them to wear shoe covers at the finish to protect the new hardwood floors, and even though I provided him with shoe covers, he refused to wear them. The helper was very nice about it and quickly put the shoe covers on when asked. They put their wet tarps over new furniture we had stored in our garage. The owner was bold and nosy. I was grateful when it was done. The price was about the same as other estimates, I just chose him because he would do all three things I needed.
Description of Work: They did interior painting after removing wallpaper and molding.

 + 0 moreIt looks perfect, Bryan has great ideas and is great with colors. I loved how he wanted to accent our stone fireplace, I had never thought of that before and the end product is amazing. I found Bryan on Angies list because we needed to painting done at our home before we had a bunch of family in town to celebrate anniversaries and fathers day. Bryan came out on a friday afternoon and gave us a great itemized bid that we thought was more then fair. Bryan started working Monday and was finished with the inside painting, I was amazed by how fast he was. But the color just was not right which was my fault because I can never make my mind up. I met with him the following day and he could mix the paints right in front of me so I could see how they were going to look right then and there. We picked on that we thought would go with the accent wall and the rest of our decor. It turned out perfectly. The following day he painte dour front porch and front door and they look amazing. Our house has never looked better. That night I was trying to hang photo ledges on the wall and put 2 new wholes in the wall which he was so nice to come over and fix them for us! He is a pleasure to work with. So nice and has so many amazing ideas!
Description of Work: Painted the walls in our living room plus all trim, including around the windows. Painted the accent wall around our fireplace, painted the front door, painted our front porch, fixed a loose step on our front porch. Came back and repainted when I didn't like the color I picked and came back fixed 2 wholes I put in the wall trying to hang a photo ledge.

 + 0 moreBryan Stabile gave a very good, itemized bid. He suggested several things that worked really well -- e.g. painting the medicine cabinets instead of removing them. The wallpaper removal went well, and the painting was done well. He touched up places that did not look smooth when I pointed them out. He made sure the work was done well. My only complaints were that the bathrooms were not cleaned up, the kitchen floor was not protected (it was going to be replaced anyway, but not before the open house), and the dining room color was not what I expected. He repainted below the chair rail of the dining room for free, after I complained that the top and bottom colors did not go well together.
Description of Work: Removed wallpaper and painted the hall, kitchen, bedroom, family room, 2 baths and dining room of a my parent's condo, which is on the market.

 + 1 moreHe was very professional from the initial estimate to completion of the project. I had obtained several estimates particularly about repairing a recurring crack in the wall. He was the only one that told me that it likely could not be fixed but just cosmetically covered. I actually obtained an opinion from a structural engineer that confirmed that he was correct. In addition, he came up with a very good way of covering the issue for a permanent cosmetic repair. The services were done very well and I have no complaints about the result. He was even very prompt about removing a stain in the carpet which I had mistakely attributed to him but which was actually caused by my children. I would definitely recommend him.
Description of Work: He repaired and improved multiple items in mulitple locations within my home. The services performed included repair nail pops and dry wall scratches, replacement of siding around garage, repair of a misshapen vent, installation of canvas wallpaper for a recurring crack, refinishing the trim around 2 skylights and painting of the walls and ceiling of a 2 story foyer and bonus room.

Description of Work: The front of my house needed a lot of work done, the vents were rotting and needed replacing, the shutters needed to be replaced and there was a lot of detail (keystones) above my windows that were bland that we wanted to showcase. In addition, the original finishing work above my garage (previous homeowner) was horrible and needed major work. Not only was this fixed but Bryan recommended that I add the same type of keystone system above and along the side of my garage to balance / finish the look of the rest of the house. My neighbors in the beginning of the job thought I was crazy and by the end my house was the envy of the neighborhood...the finished product looks fantastic! In addition, my patio was sinking and the columns needed to be replaced because of rott...he did all that work. The trim around my back door needed to be replaced, mission accomplished. I had vinyl siding that had been separated when the roofers re shingled, this was fixed and there was aluminum fascia that had been damaged in hail storms that needed replacing, looks brand new. Bryco Service is more than just a painting company, they are a one stop shop from color consultation, design consultation and of coarse, a full service painting company. Very pleased and would recommend them to anyone wanting a first class job. We will needing some interior work done this winter and look forward to having them back.

Description of Work: Power washed and Painted exterior of house, which included windows, doors, trim, wrought iron stairs and railings. Also took care of some minor welding work, installed aluminum fascia over high maintenance wood trim area, repaired and replaced rotted wood as needed on doors and window, and had screens replaced were needed.

 + -1 moreSimple story with a great ending. Decided to do a "less than extreme makeover" of fathers home for a birthday present. Researched Angie's list and found BRYCO. Send an email explaining the situation. Exchanged information, including floor plan, and colors and received a competitive quote. Timing was critical due to the fact that before the walls could be painted, the furniture was to be moved, all floors were to be refinished, and all furniture was to be replaced before Easter. We only had one week. The paint crew as in a holding pattern depending on how quickly the floor was finished. When the floors were finished on Wednesday, additional curing time was need on Thursday, so we really only had Friday and Saturday to paint and replace furniture. BRYCO came through by completing the painting on Friday, and the house was restored to "almost normal" by Saturday in time for Easter Sunday. We could not have done it without their cooperation....lived up to their reputation and would use them again.
Description of Work: Painted the entire main floor of small 50's home, including three bedrooms, bathroom, living room, hall, kitchen and stairs to basement. Originally planned to have the work done over several days, but due to change in timing, BRYCO was able to bring in an augmented crew, worked extended hours, and finished the entire house in one day. Crew was detailed oriented, friendly, and accomodating especially when there was a last minute request to change one of the colors, which had all been chosen in advance, to another color. Used quality paints, prepared the walls properly, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Outstanding job !!!

We relied heavily on Bryco for color selection (both inside and outside), and we are happy with the results. Bryco was committed to our satisfaction and hung with us through color changes, etc. These guys are craftsmen, artists, and professionals. This is a full service operation.
Description of Work: Bryco painted several interior rooms (including trim detail, faux marble and woodgrain, doors, and other surfaces in addition to walls), our garage, wood windors, and exterior trim. The work included prep and clean-up, wallpaper removal, plaster repair, installation of wall fixtures and decorations, installation of some storm windows, and more. Installed quarter-round. Some minor electrical work as needed for the job at hand.

We had a problem with the fireplace and had to redo the ceiling as it had become black. It was a major work. The price was comparable.
