+ -1 moreI really like the fact that they are bonded and insured. That is a good thing when someone is working in your home. You never know what could happen and the best thing is that nothing ever has. I like the attention to detail that they use.
Description of Work: I have them come out every two weeks to mop, sweep and do just a general cleaning on my 1600 square foot home.

+ -1 moreAfter several days of searching and turning the house upside down - moving furniture and even searching the cold air returns - I could not find the necklace. I called Nancy on June 4 to inquire if her crew had seen the necklace, or possibly moved it. She explained that she had used a new employee. Nancy called back to say that the employee had thought there were "too many things" to be cleaned in the area where I kept the necklace, so she did not do anything except 'move a few things'. Nancy should have refunded my money! After phone calls between Nancy, my husband and myself, Nancy's last word was that even though Bright & Shiny is bonded and insured, that I would have to file a lawsuit, obtain a criminal conviction and an arrest to have the cleaning company pay a claim. I took off from work, searched the house again, and filed a police report. This matter remains unresolved.
Description of Work: I requested a "deep clean" by Bright & Shiny - specifically, to clean ceiling fans, book shelves and my stepdaughter's room. Work was performed on May 30, 2007. I returned home to find that nothing I had requested had been performed. After calling the owner, Nancy, she told me that the crew "could not reach the fans" (I have had this cleaning performed before by the company!). There was even a step stool in the front bedroom. Nancy said that she would have the crew return the following day. I returned home on May 31 to find that the fans were clean, but that the front bedroom had barely been touched. This bedroom belongs to my 6 year old step daughter who stays with me every 2 weeks. Upon closer inspection, I discovered a $1500 necklace to be missing from the front room. I searched the entire house - no necklace. My step daughter had not been in the house since May 27. The only people in the front bedroom since that time were the cleaning crew and me.

+ 0 moreThe 2 girls were on time. Two mini-blinds were broken & replaced by Nancy, the owner. Nancy was very responsive about this. However, half of the windows & mirrors were dirtier after they finished cleaning than before. They were badly streaked. I felt that for the price I paid, the 2 girls should have known how to clean windows & mirrors. I did not catch it while they were here because I left the condo so they could clean without interference from me. They had already left by the time I got home.
Description of Work: They did what they call a "deep clean".

+ -1 moreI WILL BE USING THIS SERVICE BI-MONTHLY. THE COST FOR IS VERY REASONABLE. THERE IS NO CONTRACT TO SIGN. RIGHT NOW SHE IS NOT OVERBOOKED, AND SHE WAS AVAILABLE FOR THE DAY I WANTED. NANCY, AND HER EMPLOYEE WERE VERY NICE, AND DID A GOOD JOB. BEFORE THEY LEFT NANCY NOTICED THAT MISSED A LIGHT FIXTURE, AND PROMISED TO GET IT THE NEXT TIME.
Description of Work: THIS COMPANY WAS RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND. THEY DID A DEEP CLEAN ON MY WHOLE HOUSE. I HAPPEN TO BE OFF WORK, AND HAD ERRANDS TO DO, AND CAME HOME TO FIND THEM BUSY, THEY WIPED DOWN EVERY THING FROM THE DOOR FRAMES TO THE BASE BOARDS. THEY CLEANED THE MINI BLINDS, THE WINDOW SILLS, AND WIPED THE WINDOWS. THERE WERE ONLY 2 WORKERS, THE OWNER, NANCY, AND ANOTHER EMPLOYEE, AND IT TOOK OVER 6 HOURS WHICH WAS UNEXPECTED BY BOTH PARTY'S, AND NANCY GAVE ME A BREAK ON THE PRICE.

+ -1 moreI USED YOUR LISTING TO FIND THIS COMPANY FOR MY MOTHER-IN-LAW WHO IS OLDER AND HAS RECENTLY EXPERIENCED HEALTH PROBLEMS AND WANTED SOMEONE TO COME IN AND DO HER HOUSEWORK. DEBBIE (OWNER) CAME WITH TWO OTHERS AND DID A THOROUGH ONCE-OVER THROUGHOUT HER HOUSE. MY MOTHER-IN-LAW WAS THRILLED WITH THEIR THOROUGHGOING OVER EVERYTHING. GRANTED, MY MOTHER-IN-LAW'S HOME IS IMMACULATE, BUT THAT MAKES HER MORE PARTICULAR; NEEDLESS TO SAY SHE IS HAPPY WITH THEM AND WANTS THEM TO COME TWICE A MONTH. THEY DO ALL THE EXTRA THINGS SUCH AS CLEANING CEILING FANS, LIGHT FIXTURES, HIGH AREAS THAT ARE HARD FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE PHYSICALLY LIMITED. I RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
