We chose this company for a large remodeling project in our CWE home and sincerely regret that choice. They could not complete even the most basic tasks without mistakes (sometimes several ) and did so little project management it was eventually as if they abandoned the job. The mistakes ranged from small (ruined a bath vanity by installing it upside down; located AC vent directly over shower) to medium (installed exterior brick that does not match; plumbing leaks that left water running down three floors) to large (demolished a room to the studs that was not in scope; installed custom cabinets so incorrectly it took over a month to fix). They also made mistakes not directly related to the work, such as leaving the house dark and unlocked one evening, installing temporary stairs in a room with no lighting and then removing them without notice, and bringing a stranger into our house for a sales meeting without even checking with us. Obviously, this caused significant delays, frustration and stress on our family, not to mention the additional costs we are paying to have their work completed or fixed. Our frustration was compounded by the contractor?s repeated complaints about how bad he felt about the project, his constantly blaming subs, and his totally false promises to do better. We remained, by the contractor?s own admission, incredibly patient and flexible given their repeated problems until we eventually had enough and asked to part ways (and were probably too generous in the way we handled that). This company delivered the classic example of a remodeling nightmare caused by a terrible contractor. Accordingly, our strongest possible recommendation is to avoid this company.
