The plumber was on time, extremely professional. He worked through his lunch and made another appt. The following week to finish non emergency items was very pleased with work. Plumber walked me through everything he did.

Dave the plumber arrived about 20 minutes after the call he was on the way. He explained what he was doing & wasn't bothered with me watching. He was personable & I enjoyed talking to him. He will be our first if we need additional service.

Not good! When I initially contacted Bieg I scheduled a dishwasher install and check of the garbage disposal, which was leaking and I needed to know if it should be repaired or replaced. This was not urgent as we are renovating and no one is currently living in the house. In the intervening time, the kitchen sink started to back-up. With a plumber coming in 2 days I figured they could take care of that, too. After all, it is a PLUMBING service. The morning of the plumbing service I also noticed a very small pool of water around the stack pipe in the basement. I showed all of this to the "plumber" when he arrived and we both agreed there was a blockage in the stack and one connection in the stack was leaking. However, this "plumber" said he could not address the stack blockage as he was only there for the dishwasher and garbage disposal; the stack would require a different "technician" from Bieg and might incur an additional $50 fee per visit for that tech, along with his hourly charges. How was I to know that Bieg has there services subdivided by techs only trained and equipped for specific issues when arranging the service? I thought I was getting a full service plumber! I wasn't too happy about the extra fee prospect, but I did say to the current tech at least twice that it seemed to me it would make more sense to clear out the stack before doing the other work. He agreed with that but said "let me see what I can do". An hour later I had sludge water all over my kitchen floor because the pipe under the sink burst, and I had the soaking wet tech in there laughing and making jokes about it. While I started cleaning that up he ran downstairs and then called me down to see filthy water spewing out of the stack, as well. He was again laughing as though this was some kind of carnival. He asked me while the water was pouring out if I wanted him to replace the stack! Of course! So he then loosened a connection, not even giving me time to move a few things out of the way, and water literally gushed out of the stack and shot 5 feet across the floor. This tech then said we needed to call the other one -- which I had suggested BEFORE I had filth to clean up in both the kitchen and basement. The second tech arrived while the first one was installing the new stack. The second guy walked into my house without knocking and did not even answer me when I said hello. He was just looking for the first tech. The two of them did their work and when they left the kitchen drain was working, the new stack was installed, the dishwasher install was only partially complete because a part was missing, and I had been told the garbage disposal was fine. There was filthy water left all over the basement floor for me to clean up, along with the old stack pipe left lying on the floor. As soon as I tried the garbage disposal it again made the horrible sound it had started with, so that diagnosis was wrong. A few days later when I took off the garbage disposal it was rotted and full of muck inside, the exact same muck that had been all over my kitchen floor! I had told the tech at the outset I thought the sink back-up might be related to the garbage disposal, but he negated that idea. I am now sure it was correct! All in all, a huge mess that could have been prevented, a garbage disposal incorrectly addressed, a dishwasher partially installed, and a huge bill of $520 that included "rounding up" time in 1/4 hour increments. I was not charged the $50 for the 2nd tech's mere arrival, but I was charged for his drive time instead so I may as well have been, and of course charged for both techs hours. I called to complain the next day and after a few days I heard back that the owner had decided to comp me $64 for 1/2 an hour. That was $64 off a $520+ bill. All in all it was a lousy experience and I will never use Bieg Plumbing again.

Called & scheduled an appointment Monday for Wednesday. Plumber arrived on time and completed the repair.

Very well dave is very up bout , answered questions went to some lengths under the excel part needed & sanded us some money.

Replaced the shower handle & then ask him to install a faucet in this sink without hesitation said yes. Did a great job. Davis is great.

Dave the plumber was on time, quickly solved the problem. He was friendly and pleasant.

They said the billing rate is $200 per hour Plus $50 trip fee. Yikes, I should of been a plumber.

I have used Bieg for many years for large jobs and small. They provide very high quality work and are available when you need them. Both the office staff (Donna is terrific and totally efficient) and the all the plumbers go the extra mile for customers. I have an 85 year old house, so there is always work to be done. They have a 24 hour emergency number, and calls are returned promptly. They have also helped me greatly by intervening with preventative maintenance, saving a lot of future expense. Highly recommend.

I called friday after noon which I know it was after 5pm, and this was the only provider who was able to come out the next morning around 7am the next day. No problems, he was very efficient, and got the work done and completed within 2-3 hours.

They came out and fixed the problem. They were available when they came out and they fixed it.

What should have been a 1 hour routine maintenance call turned into 2 hours because of the slow pace of "Don's" work. He works in slow motion. The cost was absolutely rediculous--$80.00 for the first 15 minutes and $30 for each 15 minutes after that!!! 2 hours therefore costs $350.00. Further, the only maintenance item that may have been required (anoid rods) were not brought by them (even though that is what I told them might be required). So he took apart the water heaters and did not have the replacement rods required which will, of course, require another visit. Will never use these people again.

It went really well. We had trouble turning the water main off, though my plumbing is quite old. The service went very well and they were actually referred to me by another provider who was unable to perform the service.

I really enjoyed the service I received from David Bieg as there was a problem with the onsite repairman's work. However, I called and asked for him recently only to learn he is no longer with company. The only reason I would use is because of David so I am going elsewhere.

Came out to service a toilet in the half bath in the basement. It wouldn't stop running. I also knew my upstairs bathroom toilet handle would have needed to be replaced in the future. This is an old fixture and he found an old fixture in his car, to replace it with. He "fixed" it and it caused more problems. It is now flushing on it's own and needs a second opinion because it is not working. The receptionist was not very personable. I had to wait 2 days for someone to come out again to look. I was not satisfied with how they handle their scheduling or their customer service. If the receptionist would have been more pleasant it may have made the entire experience a little more bearable.

Main stack in basement was original from 1960s. Several workers came though the day the replacements were scheduled all very professional and nice. Each had specific duty, from taking out old stack to removing tile wall in bathroom. Work for 1st day was completed by 5pm. Workers came back next day and completed work by noon. We had several problems with handicap accessible toilet leaking. Bieg plumbing came out several times to fix and eventually replace. Each time very nice and professional, no additional charges for work done.

We called because our basement drain was backing up one night. Mr Bieg was very friendly and got us in touch with a plumber right away. We informed Mr. Bieg of the chemicals we had used to attempt to clean the drain. The plumber showed up and immediately complained about the smell of the gases and chemicals. I informed him it was not as bad downstairs because the house was closed up and all the smell rose upstairs and the basement had all the windows and the door open. He walked downstairs and looked and the cleanout which was in a difficult spot to get to and he wanted to look outside for a cleanout in the front yard. When the plumber could not find the cleanout in the yard he immediately started finding excuses to not do the job. He said the chemicals that were put into the drain were h****** the cables and I informed him the drain had been flushed out twice and I would do it again if he wanted me to. He then told me the smell was pretty bad and I informed him there was hardly any smell in the basement and he again commented on the chemicals. I reminded him again the drain had been flushed twice and he got on his phone to call his boss and told me "Well I dd not put the chemicals down the drain". I spoke to his boss who said that since the odor was strong his plumber did not have to do the job and they offered to come back the next day at 6. I told him I could not take the day off work and neither could my wife. Mr Bieg then told me how great his plumber acted by leaving his house after hours.. that is his job correct? What really bothers me is that we informed Mr. Bieg about the chemicals ahead of time and he was fine with it. I have never heard of a plumber that refused work because of an offending smell. If it was going to be an issue because of the chemical then something should have been said over the phone because Mr Bieg told me he knew how the chemical smelled because they use the same one.

It was Christmas Eve, and they were able to come out and make repairs to the hot water heater, however they did not disclose all of the travel costs and fees before the work was done.

Everything went very well. I really appreciated them being able to come over on the same day that we called. I will definitely use them again.

I have hired them several times. I have been very happy with them. They are very reasonably priced. I would hire them again for that type of work.
