Replace a broken tooth in denture. EXCELLENT service, helpful people. Allowed to take to the lab for repair, both placed worked me into there schedule. Highly recommend.

They are very good. The women who work there are extremely professional. It's really modern dental care. It's as probably as cutting edge dental care you can get. It's all the way up to the latest techniques. I am not a person that volunteers to go to the dentist. So, if I tell you that they are good, they are good.

I have worked with folks I consider bad care providers in this field and could not have been more pleased to discover Ballas Dental Care. They are consummate professionals, always courteous, pleasant and informative. I positively LOVE the fact that they provide text message reminders of appointments - very helpful for those of us with very full schedules! The dentists are excellent, and I have found the hygenists to be wonderful. I highly recommend this group.

I would not use Ballas Dental ever again. The dentist are either part-time or disinterested in digging into issues. They would rather fill cavities, sell x-rays and perform boutique services they are ill skilled to deliver.

The best dental practice I have ever had. Highly professional, friendly, knowledgeable. I am moving to DC and I am so sorry that I will be unable to rely on Dr. Watanabe and his great team! It will be hard to replace.

The doctor, Robert Morris, was very honest and straight up with his explanations on the treatment. Also, because of the nature of my treatment, I was worried about the aftermath, but he did an awesome job and also explained what has to happen with the after care, very clearly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Robert Morris again to any one who needs to extract their molars.

A bit of a wait for 1pm appt... many people in waiting room. Older building at Ballas Rd & Clayton... interior hallways and offices could use updated fixtures and paint. Hygienist was friendly and effective with manual cleaning, flouride treatment, x-rays. Professional. Dr. Watanabe is older, professional, friendly, effective. Discussed the x-ray results, and sonic images for potential cracks & replacement fillings needed in the future (planning to replace a few amalgam (silver) fillings (35 yr old fillings) with composite fillings. Good consultation, no pressure. Overall, a good visit.

The office was nice. I liked it, they were good. Everybody was friendly, and they were just nice. They got me in right away. The office is very nice and clean. I had been waiting for 10 minutes, and then I told the secretary that I was going to the bathroom, and then I came back and sat in the waiting room. Other people came after me, and had their name called, so I went to ask her, and she said that she forgot when my name was called out. They then got me in right away. The first time I came in to get my teeth cleaned, they gave me trays for whitening, and then they gave me the thing to put in the trays for free for waiting. The dentist was nice, I liked him, and my sister will also be going there too. He talked to me about what was going on with my cavities. I didn't know I had cavities, and was surprised when he said I had two cavities. They are going to take payments from me, and so I don't have to pay through my credit card.

Best hygienist ever!!!! (Thanks Mary Frost!) I have never had such a thorough cleaning and exam. Mary was professional, informative, knowledgeable, and pleasant too. She even motivated me to take a bit better care of my teeth. The dentist was great too tho I'll find out more when he fills a few cavities. My battery in my car died as I was leaving for my appointment. They were so helpful when I called and even worked me in later due to a cancellation. Talk about service! It's been awhile since I had a regular dentist; I plan on keeping these guys for a long time.

When I explained to the staff at Ballas dental that I hadn't been to the dentist in 18 years and that I had "dental phobia", they couldn't have been more understanding and caring. I have been back to Ballas Dental for three more appointments since my root canal. Doctor Hanes and Sherry were immensely helpful in helping me get over my fear as well providing top notch care.

Before the appointment, I filled out the appropriate forms online. On the form, it looked like they were trying to pin point your concerns. Of course, I had more questions than what was on form, but didn't include that because I figured I would have enough time to talk to Dr. Watanabe at my appointment. This office schedules their appointments according to when a dental assistant can take you; therefore, the dentists have to "squeeze" you in while they are also working on other patients. The dental assistant was okay and took care of everything, although I would not want her again. Dr. Watanabe came in very briefly, addressed concerns that he must have noticed on the form, but did NOT give me an opportunity to ask additional questions. He was in the room for approximately 1-2 minutes, then left. I had no idea that he was gone for good to work on someone else. I thought he would be coming back to ask if I had any other questions. I would not go back. I want to feel like I'm primarily seeing the dentist; not the dental assistant.

They are pretty much painless, which is nice. They're very understanding. They bent over backwards to help my son, who has a lot of dental work to be done. They go way above and beyond. He had to have a lot of teeth rebuilt.

They are pretty punctual and that is one thing that I love about them. You do not wait around. You go in, you have your appointment and you go home. I love their office and staff there. They are very friendly. We usually see the same hygienist but if we see a different one, they are all great. I have not had a bad experience with one. I like all of the doctors there. We usually see one particular doctor but if Dr. Haines is not available, the other doctors are fantastic. They are great with the kids. I just love them. We would absolutely use them again in the future.

Dr. Wantanabee also is an excellent dentist. He was able to actually get my tetracycaline stained teeth brighter (big smile). While they are not inexpensive, I highly recommend Ballas Dental.

They're very personable and my children seem to enjoy going to this dentist than other dentists and they've never complained about it. They work their way to making sure you're comfortable.

I have been going to Ballas Dental for 35 years! Dr Watanabe seems ageless. He has always taken excellent care of my teeth. I don't have any real problems but if I did I am confident he would be able to take care of them with the least amount of pain. My hygienist, Mary, is very meticulous and knowledgeable about her profession. I have also seen Dr Hanes who is top notch. The office keeps up on the latest techniques in dental care. I also fell they would be able to work with a patient who had a financial hardship, although I have not been in that position. I'll keep going there as long as Dr Watanbe is practicing, and if he retires, I'll go see Dr Hanes.

Dr. Chip Haines really went above and beyond recently when I used him as a consultant for some issues I was having with my orthodontist. I went to an orthodontist to have my lower front teeth straightened which were a little crooked. (cosmetic work only) My bite was fine. As I progressed through the treatment, my front teeth were straightened, but my bite became so bad that I could no longer chew correctly and was experiencing significant pain regularly. The things my orthodontist was doing were not working. I was worried I was going to have to start with braces all over again with a new orthodontist or worse yet to have to put up with pain and a bad bite the rest of my life. I had in fact already visited a new orthodontist to see if he could help me. Dr. Haines listened to my concerns, worked with me and my orthodontist to determine the problems and came up with some good solutions. Just as a side note, I have had some standard dental work (fillings) done by Dr. Haines as well. He does great there as well. Virtually pain free too! I could not recommend him enough.

He did some exrays we identified several issues with my teeth. Was planning to come back for the work, but then they gave me the estimated bill. My portion was going to be over $2K and that's with insurance. Unfortunately, she didn't tell me that they were not in-network with Guardian so their fees were going to be way higher than if I chose an in-network dentist with fixed pricing. I called back hoping they would work with me on their fees, but she was not interested...said to call them back if I changed my mind. Again, loved Dr Haines and his assistant. But when I could save $1400 by going to an in-network dentist, I had to make that choice.

Beware -- I was a patient at Ballas Dental care for 2 years, and got suspicious when my dentist there kept saying I had multiple cavities after almost every x-ray. Before going to Ballas Dental care, I'd only had about two cavities in my entire life, and I take great care of my teeth. So I went to another doctor for a second opinion and a second set of x-rays. Guess what -- no cavities. On the plus side, my dental hygienist was super nice. ------------------ Follow-up regarding provider's response: Thank you for responding. The patient was the wife of the Angie's list member, and has a different last name so you wouldn't be able to look her up by the Angie's list member's last name. There is no need to follow-up with us regarding this matter. While we appreciate the offer, I don't think there is anything that can be done at this point. As my wife mentioned, she was a patient for about 2 years at Ballas Dental Care (at 2821 N Ballas Rd, Suite 140 in Town and Country) and in general had a positive experience, especially with her hygienist who was very nice. This "cavity" situation was a wake-up call to us, and can be a good lesson to everyone to not take everything your dentist says with blind faith. If something doesn't seem right or you have any concerns, it never hurts to get a second opinion.

I have seen him for the past six months. I am very happy with him.

I was a former patient of Dr Watanabe but due to job change I was forced to stray away. God know I regret it because had Dr Waatanabe been my dentist during those interim years I firmly believe it would not have been necessary to be wearing dentures. Dr. Watanabe was also the dentist for my deceased husband who praised Dr. Watanabe. Dr. Watanable is personable, good sense of humor but yet takes his profession very seriously. Most people would never describe a dental visit as pleasurable but that's what my 2 return visits have been just like it was when I had last seen him almost 30 years ago. He is precise, exact, and determined to do the job right no matter how much time it takes. There was never a moment of mental or physical discomfort during my visits. I could go on and on with good things to say about Dr. Watanabe but I must not forget to praise his dental assistants. They absolutely mirror Dr. Watanabe's professionalism always treating the patient with respect, kindness, and competency. If you ever see Dr. Watanabe once I guarantee you he will become your dentist for life. It would be great if all Doctors and Dentists could see Dr. Watanabe in action because they would certainly gain from it and probably increase their patients. Thanks Dr. Watanabe and both dental assistants for your expert service. It was worth every dollar I paid!
