B & K TUCKPOINTING CO.

I used them a couple years ago and we had a good experience. So I called them up again in the last couple of months and they never got back to me. I left them a couple of messages and never heard back from them again. I was very disappointed in their professionalism.

Called them for an estimate and they honestly told me they were backed up and it would be awhile. I am glad they told me that rather than waiting for them, and not having the work get done in a dishonest amount of time.

They did a great job. You wouldn't even notice that they came out except for the fact that my fireplace looks perfect. They cleaned everything up and left everything looking great.

It is now 7-11-2008 and I've heard nothing from them, called a few other companies on Angie's List and had estimates within a week.

Didn't, now closet is wetter than ever.

They arrived at our home on time. They proceeded to do the work with speed and competence. They were definitely skilled at their work. We thought they did a very good job. Previous bids from other companies were for the entire house. We only wanted specific areas done and they listened to what we wanted and gave the bid accordingly.

The schedule was a bit behind when I called so I had to wait. The good thing is they did get me in before winter so I am happy with that. They were the best bid and the best people and I am glad I went with them. They were very good.

Everything went great. I was very happy. I had tried to do my own tuckpointing, but failed miserably. B&K came and fixed me right up, and fixed some additional areas I hadn't gotten to. They even repaired some extra little spots that I didn't expect them to. Came right on time, did the work properly, and cleaned up before they left. Great!

I called for an estimate, and was told that some one would come out to my house and look it over. Almost two weeks later, no one has come to my house, and I haven't even received a phone call explaining the situation. I understand that this is a busy season for tuckpointing, but I find their (non) response to be unprofessional. Note to potential customers: If you live in the city, forget it. They wont come out! I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I GOT THIS COMPANY FROM THE ST. LOUIS MASONRY INSTITUTE LIST. THIS REFERENCE WAS EXCELLENT IN GIVING OUR HOMEOWNER'S ASSOCIATION BOARD MEMBERS (I AM ONE OF 3) LEGITIMATE COMPANIES TO DO TUCKPOINT WORK IN OUR SUBDIVISION. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES WITH OTHER TUCKPOINTING COMPANIES PROVED FUTILE, BUT ALL THE COMPANIES I CONTACTED FROM THE ST. LOUIS MASONRY INSTITUTE GAVE ME HONEST ANSWERS: I.E., THIS COMPANY (B&K) DOES SMALLER, RESIDENTIAL JOBS SUCH AS THE FOUR WE NEEDED (SOME COMPANIES ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN DOING COMMERCIAL WORK). B & K WERE PROMPT IN GIVING US A WRITTEN BID, AND AFTER WE MET THEIR REPRESENTATIVE, WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT, AND THEY DID THE WORK ON THE DATE PROMISED. THE WORKERS WERE ON-TIME, THOROUGH, CLEANED UP EVERYTHING, AND DID A GREAT JOB. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
