I had used this company before and it was great, all A's. However, I called back today to get an appointment for an estimate for a couple plumbing problems in my house with a potential for a much larger project. Was told by person who answered phone that they now charge $99.00 to just come out an give an estimate. She gave me some rough numbers on the phone but told me if I wanted an actual plumber to come out and price the jobs, it would cost me. The only way to avoid the charge was to pay for some work while the guy was here. I won't pay for an estimate. Both of the plumbing jobs I called for could be simple fixes or, in my old house with very old plumbing, could explode into a much larger project that I would be forced to let Aries complete or stuck with nonworking plumbing while waiting for estimates from other companies. I think it is always a bad sign when a company starts charging for estimates. Sorry, but I won't come back for that.

Went great, estimate was quick and was able to book work quickly. Plumber who showed up did a good job. The shower hot/cold fixture they installed is ugly as sin, but since I didn't go out and buy one ahead of time, I was stuck with what they provided. However, work was done quickly and efficiently and clean up was well done. Would go back or reccomend

I found this company on Angie's List. On my initial contact with them they recommended I contact another company who could come out and analyse the problem to be sure there was a true failure that would require breaking out part of the basement floor to get to the line. I did that. That company, A & J Drain Services, came out, did a great job analyzing the problem and left a thorough report that would direct a plumbing company where the line was and where the blockage was located under the floor. Aries also recommended I get three bids which I also did. I went ahead with Aries. Their work crew arrived at he appointed time, went right to work, had the line out, replaced and the basement floor restored in about three hours with no mess. A great job. From the person who answered the phone to the work crew who came on site to do the job, i found all to be very professional, accommodating, and friendly. I would recommend them to all.

They were nice and everything was fine. They did exactly what they said. They did their thing, cleaned up their mess and left.

good with the disposal. He also looked at a hotwater heater, I thought the pricing was a little high, so we had another company look at the hotwater heater. They were able to fix it for much cheaper. But they are very professional and prompt and very nice to talk to.

I had contacted another plumber to do the work and even after 3 phone calls in a month he never sent a bid. I checked Angie's List and picked Aries and a couple of other plumbers for bids. Belinda was very helpful in setting a time for Vernon to come. He actually arrived a little early. He was very professional, knowledgeable and attentive while I explained what I wanted. I was concerned about being without a tiolet (I only had one) and he assured me that except when they were working on the drains during the day, he would see that I had a toilet at night. He said I would have the bid on the following Tuesday and I did. His bid was very reasonable and I chose his company to do the work. I contacted my contractor who would do the rest of the work, but he never came to do a bid. I contacted Aries and explained, they said they could give me the names and numbers of 3 contractors that they had worked with for years and who were very compentent. I contacted them and chose one. He was great. Before starting the work I decided to just do a half bath in the basement and Vernon said that was fine and he had decided to replace the sewer line to where it connect to the outside clay pipes instead of just the pipes in the basement, so that everything inside would be taken care of. Aries plumbers showed up a bit early the first day, but were patient while I got my 3 cats set in a back room where they would be out the way. I explained that the night before, that I had discovered that there was no hot water. Curt ckecked out the hot water heater and found that it needed a new part. Unfortunately, this water heater is no longer made and he was unable to find parts. I decided to just replace it, which they did the next day. At that time he did a water pressure test and told me that my pressure was way to high. I had know I had very high pressure and had mentioned it to 3 other plumbers, they all said "don't worry about it". Curt said this could cause all kinds of problems, which I had thought was probable and he installed the pressure regulator valve. Curt, his 2 apprentices Tim and Jeremy were very professional, courteous and answered any questions I had to my satisfaction. They installed the new sewer lines, the water heater, pressure valve, water lines and draines for both baths ,the main bath tub, transferred the toilet from upstairs to the basement and replaced my kitchen sink draines all in 3 days which supprised me. When it was time to installed the main bath vanity and toilet, Darren came over installed them. He was very friendly, professional and courteous. He also returned to install the half bath vanity. They also, took care of the premits and setting up the inspections that were needed. The owners and employees of this company are superb.

They arrived on time and worked in muddy conditions trying to beat the rain. Work was completed in a couple of hours. They could not shut off the service due to service valve being inaccessible so they did the work with the water on. In other words they did it with what they had to work with, less than ideal conditions. No complaints, just did the work.

They did a superb job. The work was excellent. They were very good. The price was reasonable. The quality of work was very nice. They were on-time and got it done within a day, just like they promised. The staff was professional and they communicated well.

.Jimmy arrived on time and was friendly and understood what I wanted him to do. He went right to work and in short order found a crack in the toilet bowl. Thus the toilet needed to be replaced. He re-installed the tank so we could get by until a replacement was purchased. The work was completed in less than an hour and he did a good job of cleaning up.

We have been quite pleased with Aries Plumbing. Our experience with them was very good as always. We liked the fitting finish of their work and the professionalism of their plumbers. They provide good value for the price and they are highly reliable unlike some others we have used.

Discovered water dripping from my basement ceiling the night before. I called the next morning & found no one, including my regular plumber could come that day. I needed to leave on a trip the following day. The nice Aries lady on the phone took my name in case there was a cancellation. Within an hour I got a call & Jim showed up within 15 minutes saying he had been working in the neighborhood. He diagnosed my problem easily & got to work fast & efficiently. He was very professional yet personable.

From the first call I made til the final cleanup, these folks are pure professional. They were out quickly to look at the problem and then were easy to work with on scheduling. The serviceman that came out was on time and quickly went to work. He replaced the regulator and cleaned up and tested and was finished in no time. I definitely would recommend Aries in the future.

It was an excellent experience and we would use them again without question.

It wasn't an emergency so a time was set up based on days- Tuesday or Wednesday depending on how badly the anticipated snowstorm affects the work scheduled. Work was performed on Tuesday, it was done quickly and completely, all trash and used parts removed, the work was done courteously and professionally, got the advertised discount and a 90 day warranty. I would call Aries again for other plumbing work.

After 4 weeks with no running water, time was of the essence for me. I had originally hired a different plumbing company to come and hook up the sink but my old home had made the job more difficult than they were prepared to handle. I did not have confidence they could complete the work so I turned to Angie's list and found Aries Plumbing. Aries really came through for me and I will be a loyal customer from now on. Aries was able to come out and bid the job and complete the work before the original plumbing company could even get back to me the issues they left unresolved from the week before. Aries was professional, thorough and very timely. They put a smile back on my face. Thank you to Aries Plumbing!

The guys from Aries came out first throng Friday morning and quickly covered the hallway going to the bathroom with tarps. They removed the toliet and quickly got to work jack hammering the concrete to get to the pipe. They cleaned up as the went along, and kept me informed of what progress had been made so far. They replaced the pipe and just as they had expected the entire pipe was cracked and deteriorated. They landed concrete to fill the hole and replaced the toliet. The whole job took about five hours start to finish, and the actual size of the concrete patch in the corner of my bathroom is only about 2 square feet. They smoothed the concrete with a great level finish so we can easily replace the tile. These guys are awesome - efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. Had we not gone with Aries my fear is that we would have gotten ourselves into thousands of dollars of additional work by taking out the existing surround.

Excellent and efficient service

Whole service great. From the polite and conscientious staff in the office through completion. Jimmy was on time. He took a look at our garbage disposal and fixed the problem. Turned out to be a minor problem. Then he fixed our hot water and lack of pressure problem with our kitchen sink. Finally, he replaced our kitchen faucet and made sure everything was running smoothly before he left. Cleaned up too so it was spotless.

Everyone at Aries was great to deal with. From the receptionist to the estimators to the plumbers themselves, all of them were very nice and very professional. The work they did was very clean and they were in and out of my house much quicker than I thought they would be. One of the guys was even nice enought to give me an adapter I needed for one of my other drains do I didn't need to run up to the hardware store. I'd highly recommend this company.

They came out right away the same day I called and fixed the problem. They cleaned out the area under the toilet, replaced the seal, and put in a new pipe in the basement. They also had to build up the area under the toilet so it would fit properly. They were professional but kind and courteous, and they did a great job! I would definitely recommend them to anyone else.

I found Aries Plumbing on Angie's List. He was really good. The experience was positive. He did the one job a year ago and I called him back, because I thought he was responsive, he came in a reasonable amount of time, he was able to do what I needed him to do, and he did it for a reasonable price. I did get discounts on the price. The first time as a new customer I got a 10% discount and then as a repeat customer I had gotten a coupon in the mail from them for 20% off. If I need a plumber again they are who I am going to call.
