Description of Work: I had a leak in upstairs bathroom that was leaking through the kitchen ceiling -- another plumbing company was called three times to find the leak and was unable to do so. Finally several sections of the ceiling fell. Jimmy from Aries found the leak promptly and repaired the problem. He placed a new spigot in the bathtub, lubricated & adjusted the shower handles (on his own), and replaced the flush mechanism on a toilet that continued to run in the downstairs bathroom. In addition to Jimmy's professionalism, he had a very personable manner. First-rate operation.

Description of Work: We called Aries on Christmas, because our water heater was not functioning properly. They came out the next day. In order to avoid a new installation they tried to replace the thermocouple. This did not work and further investigation revealed a simple seal problem, but no seal replacements were available for our unit. A new heater was ordered and installed in a timely fashion. Happy with the service.

Description of Work: Needed new toilet insides and some minor cleaning. Worker arrived in the promised window of time, worked efficiently and quickly, and the job was about 20.00 less than quoted (total was 154.00). Friendly and always good work.

Description of Work: They did a great job installing a sump pump for us. I had a great experience from the minute I talked to the scheduling person. She was friendly & professional. The man who installed it for us was also very professional & thorough. We will call them again when we having plumbing needs'

Description of Work: Initially, I contacted Aries through Angie's list with no response. I gave a bad review and got a phone call back immediately. They looked up our name and telephone number from a previous job. Apparently, there was a computer glitch and had I not complained, they would have never known. At any rate, once the mix up was sorted out, Vernon came to our home and the bid was emailed the next day. We have had 3 bids and they are all in the same ballpark. We have not decided which company we will use at this time as we want to discuss everything withour general contractor.

Description of Work: This was a difficult job. Previous work (by some other company) was not performed correctly. Jimmy fixed it, and I could see the pride of craftsmanship in his completed work. I would definitely use Aries again.

Description of Work: The service man cleaned out the sewer and found hardly any roots. However, now it is November and the basement has backed up. I don't think the service man did a thorough job, because he found nothing in the sewer and now the root growth has caused a back up. I called the company to see if they would back their work, but they only guarantee it for 30 days.

Description of Work: My toilet was continuously running. I called Aries and the assistant was very helpful, telling me what the potential problem might be and subsequent cost. I was able to schedule an appointment within 24 hours and was also given a "courtesy call" as to time of arrival as I only work 10 minutes away. Mitch was very friendly and helpful; he went right to work and finished in under 20 minutes. He then explained what the problem was and what he did to fix it. He also gave me some tips to ensure good plumbing as I do not use this bathroom as often as others in the house. I can understand why Mitch gets great reviews on Angie's list! I would (and have already) recommended Aries if someone has a plumbing problem.

Description of Work: I contacted this company via the email link on Angies List web site one week ago, and via the email list on their web site on Friday morning, July 22nd - both times, I left a phone number to be called. NO ONE BOTHERED TO CALL ME. I consider this to be quite rude - if they are not interested in providing service, a courtesy phone call would have been appropriate. I hope they treat their actual customers better than potential customers.

Description of Work: We contacted Aries Plumbing to get an estimate on repairing or replacing our water heater. The serviceman, Jimmy, came within the hour. After no longer than 10 minutes he had diagnosed our heater as having a faulty lower coil. We were pleasantly surprised at the inexpensive estimate plus he was able to do it right away. He had came, diagnosed & fixed out water heater within a total of 2 hours! Having said we found the company through Angie's List we received a 10% discount on the hourly rate too.

Description of Work: Estimator came to my home to estimate the job, but an estimate was never sent. I called the office 3 times requesting an estimate but still no response, even after being told I'd get a phone call.
