The next day, Friday, Mr. Terry Andres of Andres Roofing, returned my call at 7:45 am and said he would stop by that day (Friday) and look at the roof. He called back later in the afternoon, I was home and he was there in 15 minutes. I showed him where the water had come in in the bedroom, he went up on the roof and inspected it and said the roof was fine. When he came back down, we went to the spot where the water was coming in, and he said the heavy rain and wind, probably caused the rain to come in the roof vent (outside vent on side of house), but the roof looked great. I was very grateful, and told him he's at the top of my list when I DO have a roofing problem.

The work was extremely well done. The company representatives were very courteous, and the entire staff was very considerate and professional. They arrived on time and completed the work ahead of schedule.

Showed up when they said they would. Got the job done quickly. It is beautiful.

Terry was very straightforward on his bid, gave a clear estimate of the cost and time. We added replacing gutters and downspouts, which he subbed out-job is still to be done in the next week or so. We requested bids from 4 different companies and accepted Andres because of good price, not lowest, and best bid. We didn't take lowest because bid write up seemed off, not sure if they actually looked at our roof. Terry and his crew did the work over 3 days, half day delay due to rain. They were very professional, commuicated well, responsive and did great work and cleaned up pretty well afterwards. They carefully tried to protect our abundant plantings around the foundation and, for the most part succeeded very well. The all apoogized quickly for the one patch of zinnias that were smashed, understandable give what they were doing. Great job, well done. I would highly recommend Andres Roofing.

They did an excellent job. The roof looks fantastic and I could not be more pleased. Work crew showed up bright and early and got the job done by 3:30 PM just in time for rain to test the new roof. It worked! Thanks, Terry.

Tried to accommodate me with squeezing me in earlier because of a leak. Began the job with at least ten workers, very courteous, started job at 7:15 finished by 3 PM (29 squares). I was a little uneasy about paying for the job before it was done (owner had to leave to give another estimate. If we had waited, he would have mailed the lien and guarantee after receiving payment).

THE ROOFING JOB WAS EXCELLENT. THE SERVICE BEGAN WHEN PROMISED & FINISHED ON TIME. THE WORKMANSHIP WAS EXCELLENT. THE CLEAN UP WAS EXCELLENT. IN THE MONTHS FOLLOWING, WE ONLY FOUND ONE OR TWO NAILS IN THE LAWN. HOWEVER, A YEAR OR 2 AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE, I SOUGHT THEIR CERTIFICATION TO HAVING INSTALLED SHINGLES OF A SPECIFIED QUALITY IN ORDER TO REDUCE OUR HOUSE INSURANCE PREMIUMS & ANDRES ROOFING NEVER RETURNED ONE OF ABOUT FIVE CALLS. FOR THAT REASON ALONE, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM, NOR WILL I AGAIN USE THEM.

THE WRITTEN ESTIMATE WE RECEIVED WAS NOT THE MOST DETAILED, BUT TERRY ANDRES WAS RESPONSIVE AND HELPFUL IN ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THAT I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD START ABOUT A MONTH AFTER THE CONTRACT WAS RETURNED. IT ENDED UP BEING ABOUT TWO MONTHS, BUT TERRY DID APOLOGIZE AND TOLD ME THAT HIS COMPANY HAD BEEN DOING A LOT OF WORK FOR A NEW HOME BUILDER. CLEANUP WAS VERY THOROUGH, ESPECIALLY GIVEN THE HUGE AMOUNT OF DEBRIS THAT WAS REMOVED FROM THE ROOF AND THE FACT THAT IT ALL CAME OFF IN TINY PIECES DUE TO AGE. (MY HUSBAND DID SHOP-VAC THE GUTTERS OUT AFTER THEY WERE DONE BECAUSE THEY DRAIN INTO OUR SEWER LINES.) THE WORKERS WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL.

BEAUTIFUL WORK, FAIR PRICE, GREAT COMMUNICATION THROUGHOUT THE JOB. CALLED MR. ANDRES TO REPLACE MY MOTHERS ROOF IN ST. LOUIS (WE NOW LIVE IN CHICAGO). WE OBTAINED APPROXIMATELY SEVEN ESTIMATES FROM ANGIES LIST COMPANIES. NOT ONLY DID HE HAVE THE BEST PRICE BUT HIS CONTRACT INCLUDED MANY OF THE EXTRAS THAT THE OTHER COMPANIES EITHER IGNORED OR PROVIDED AS OPTIONS. MY IMPRESSION IS THAT WHEN HE DOES IT--HE EITHER DOES IT RIGHT OR NOT AT ALL. HE ALSO DID THE SKYLIGHTS AND DIDN'T CHARGE ANY ADDITIONAL LABOR--ONLY FOR THE PRODUCT. AND-AS A BONUS HE JUST THREW IN THE ONE GUTTER AND DOWNSPOUT. SINCE MY MOM'S ROOF WAS ACTUALLY LEAKING THEY MADE THE ROOF REPLACEMENT A PRIORITY SQUEEZING HER IN THE SCHEDULE. THE WORKERS WERE ON TIME, PROFESSIONAL AND DIDN'T LEAVE ANY TYPE OF DEBRIS. HIS SON IS ON EACH AND EVERY JOB TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IS DONE PROPERLY. GREAT EXPERIENCE OVERALL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

OUR ONLY COMPLAINT ABOUT THE COMPANY WAS THAT MR. ANDRES CALLED US ABOUT 9:00 P.M. TO SAY THAT THEY WOULD BE HERE THE NEXT DAY. BY NOON NO ONE HAD SHOWN UP, SO WE CALLED MR. ANDRES. HE SAID HE SHOULD HAVE CALLED US, BUT NOT ALL OF THE WORKERS HAD SHOWN UP AND THEY WOULD NOT GET TO OUR ROOF THAT DAY. ABOUT THREE DAYS LATER, MR. ANDRES CALLED AT 6:40 A.M. TO SAY THAT THE ROOFERS WERE ON THEIR WAY. I IMMEDIATELY GOT DRESSED AND WENT OUT TO MOVE OUR CAR AND BEFORE I WAS OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY, THE ROOFERS WERE HERE. WE HAD NO OTHER PLANS FOR THIS DAY, BUT IF WE HAD, SUCH AS ONE OF OUR GRANDCHILDREN STAYING OVERNIGHT OR EXPECTING GUESTS, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM TO HAVE SUCH SHORT NOTICE. BECAUSE WE HAVE A CATHEDRAL CEILING, WE HAD SEVERAL NAIL POPS IN THE KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM. WHEN WE POINTED THIS OUT TO MR. ANDRES, HE SAID HE SHOULD HAVE WARNED US THAT THIS CAN HAPPEN.

THE JOB WAS SMALL AND A LITTLE FURTHER THAN THEY NORMALLY GO, BUT THEY CAME OUT AND DID A GREAT JOB. LOOKING AT THE ROOF, YOU CAN'T TELL WHAT WAS ADDED.

THEY MIGHT NOT ALWAYS SHOW UP THE DAY YOU EXPECT THEM, BUT THEY KEEP YOU INFORMED AND ONCE THEY ARE THERE, THE JOB IS FINISHED IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER. QUALITY WORK AT A FAIR COST.

HE HAS A FAIR PRICE AND DOES A GREAT JOB. NO PROBLEMS FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN EVERYTHING LOOKED GOOD.

I CAN DEPEND ON HIM TO COME IF I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. HE'S RIGHT OVER AS SOON AS HE CAN. THEY WERE HERE FROM 6:30 IN THE MORNING UNTIL 2:30 IN THE AFTERNOON. AND THEY CLEANED UP WELL.

I'VE USED THEM TWICE BEFORE, AND HE DID A GOOD JOB.
