They are fine, they were responsive, they came on time. What i asked them to do was okay no complain. i called them and they promised they would call me back but they did not but that was a minor thing. They did not change many things so there charge was not a problem any way.

Paid for service to repair fountain and now former employee reported work complete. This was not the case and after contacting owner he came out and made sure the work was completed properly. I really appreciate the great job he did once he realized the work was not complete.

Performed all routine tasks to insure the proper functioning of my sprinkler system. Ran tests, checked all valves and sprinkler heads, made some small changes to programming per my request. Completely satisfied.

We got 3 proposals / estimates. Allen Outdoor Solutions was not the cheapest, but I selected them based on the professionalism of the proposal and the exact description of products to be installed. They first installed the landscape lighting and we're very pleased with the outcome. They next installed the irrigation system. That was completed in about 3 days time. In spite of all the digging and equipment running over our yard, everything looked like it did before. They replaced everything as it was. They gave us a walk-thru of how to run the system. We opted for a rain sensor that determines, based on recent rainfall, if the system needs to run. So the system pretty much runs itself. We've called them back a couple of time to tweak the system and they've been quick to respond.

The owner has been extremely responsive and professional. The work looks great so far, but they are not completely done. Had some issues with timing of the work and the owner worked hard to get our project moving as quickly as possible. Would consider for future needs. So far so good!

My wife dealt with them more than I did, but the work turned out fine, and we didn't have any complaints.

They were very nice, but did not do what was asked. Would not recommend.

They did come out. I wasn't that pleased or impressed to be honest with you because the guy they sent out he told me how to work my sprinkler system box, but he did not help me locate my sprinkler which was brand new to me. I asked if a certain head needed adjusting and he said no. So basically they just came out, turned my water on and showed me how to work the box. But I was expecting more because when I talked to them, when I made the appointment I was told that they would show me where my sprinkler were and everything. One area was just one sprinkler and I made a comment about that and he just hemmed and hawed and made an excuse, maybe the people who put the deck in took that sprinkler out. I'm thinking they would take the sprinkler out. So pretty much I am going to have to go back through the situation myself with the help of my sister and turn every cycle on and then just look and listen for bubbles to come up or whatever. That's what I have to do. But I wouldn't have them here again.

Rep came out and did measurements to give us a quote on replacing our back patio with either poured concrete or pavers. Everything went well until he came to give us the bids. As the rep started explaining the 2 products Allen Outdoor offered, he started by telling us that the concrete is a bad choice as it could start to break down within 6 months. Why would you offer something and then say it's poor quality? He then went on to explain why pavers (obviously the much more expensive option) would be the only things to stand the test of time. Since we were trying to keep the process more economical, we asked question about how we could make concrete work for us, but were told again and again how concrete would be a poor choice and would break down quickly. All said and done, the meeting felt a bit forceful and we didn't feel comfortable trusting a relatively big job to a company that offered us an option that they themselves didn't trust.

After calling to get a bid, Allen's was quick to come out. It then took three weeks to receive a call back with bid. This was after I had called to find out why I had not heard from them. Steve Allen came out and presented me his bid. The bid was competitive, but went with another contractor.

We've used Allen since moving into our house about two years ago. They are always punctual and perform the service as described. And, since we were new to the home, the technicians have always been great about answering our questions and showing us how to operate the irrigation system. They also try and get you scheduled as quickly as possible, as they do book up in advance. Additionally, they installed our irrigation system, but this was done by the old homeowners so I can't speak to that. However, we have not had any problems with the system since moving in two years ago.

In fact we had a contract with Allen Outdoor Solutions, but when exactly when I wanted to done some things out he didn't get back. We wanted to get a water fall, but he did a water fountain instead of a water fall. We haven't got that fixed and still are looking to get that fixed. He added features such as bushes and plants by, it's like four trees and a water fall, and some flowers. The work was nice but was not what I wanted and we did not get the work done. The price was a lot expensive.

I’ve them a number of times. I’ve also used them before in a different house. I went back to them because I was happy with their annual service. They’re prompt and they get it done quickly.

We hired them in March of last year for the annual activation, backflow test, and winterization. They're great about setting appointments and did what we asked them to do. Because we had just moved into the house when they activated last year, they also taught us how to use the system and how to get the most out of it. I signed up again this year, early enough to get a little discount. I really like their service.

They arrived at the scheduled time and worked until the project was completed. They performed all the tasks listed in the contract and even did some additional items that were not listed but were verbally promised. They hauled away all debris and left a lovely lawn in place of the disaster that was my yard. Based on limited rain fall after the project was complete, the regarding appears to have stopped the standing water issue.

sprinkler system went in well, as did turning off and back on seasonally first year. now we have to turn in report to city on tests done, and they don't have any record of it. tree is fine, but 4 bushes died first winter, and office was extremely non-responsive to my trying to find out why and to get them replaced. eventually were replaced. landscaping timbers and walkway and garden pond have yet to be done after 1.5 years. when work gets done, it is good, but communication is terrible and scheduling is unprofessional. Since I previously wrote this review, the company has been in touch to try to make right by us. We will be getting paperwork that we need to turn in to our community (Creve Coeur) and we have a meeting set to determine work to be done this spring and get on the work schedule.

I had some problems with them but it was all good. The owner could have had a better attitude about the little mistakes I made and I thought that I was incompetent and I understand the errors that I made. One of the on site guys was kind of not friendly fellow but they took care of the problem they just didn't complete the job. They still to come back and do some more things.

They were friendly, quick, efficient and overall did a great job. I would recommend them for future services. I felt comfortable having them on my property and working in my yard. Great group of individuals.

They were great. Reasonable pricing for a large project. They completed in 5 days to specs of drawings that Steve Allen did with quote.

Called and got an appointment within a couple days. We just bought this home and were not familiar with the sprinkler system, so Jesse answered some questions we had, fixed some bad sprinkler heads and ran the annual test. He was fast, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Will use them again in the future.

Their did quality work. They did everything that they were supposed to. The pricing I thought was very reasonable.

They came in and initially had not solved the issue. They then realized the error and corrected. Ran the test at no additional fee and I will be using them again in the future.

We hired Allen Outdoor Solutions to perform a miracle on our lawn and 4 separate flower beds on our one acre lot. The two talented man & woman workers arrived before noon on Tuesday, Aug.20th, and aggressively attacked, pruned , and weeded all the overgrown plantings. They worked until early evening. They returned the next morning, Aug.21st, with a third worker, a man who helped them load a full truck overflowing with all the excess debris (vines, dead plants and clippings) and cart it away. Later, all three workers returned with a full truck load of red mulch which was then spread around all the cleared plantings and shrubs. They worked until late afternoon . They swept up and made sure that everything was neat before leaving. The workers were so friendly and eager to accomplish the multiple tasks that we requested in a positive timely fashion. The final result was simply fantastic. Our yard now looks like it was touched with a magic wand -ha. Our neighbors have noticed the transformation also. We would definitely recommend the Allen Outdoor Solutions Company to any home owner needing professional lawn care and creative landscaping service. Tom and Gloria .

The upgrade went as planned. Steve Allen came out to look at the job and emailed us a competitive bid within a few days (we obtained one other bid that was only slightly higher than Allen). The work was completed on schedule although the technician showed up at 8AM, but was scheduled for 12PM. That was okay as he was able to get started earlier, but it was only by chance that I was home. John, the technician knows everything about sprinkler systems and explains it all very well both during and upon completion. The only complaint that I had about the job is that I had to call them to come back out and walk me through the repairs that were made and in the end, John came out, not Steve or Neal which would have been nice. Not sure what to think about this, but as I stated earlier John is very knowledgeable and I was satisfied with his explanation of the work. I will use Allen again.
