We were able to join a scheduled move as a partial load on a time schedule that was perfect. The move was straight to the Bay Area with no stops and no driving all over the West to do other pick-ups. Pick-up was on time as was delivery. His people were good and did a fine job on unloading and positioning as requested by my son and his wife. A mirror wound up broken, but All Star got it fixed promptly just as promised up front. Everything else got there in good order and condition. All-in-all a fine experience.

They worked hard took few brweaks even thought the temp was int he 90's and were very careful with the furniture.

They are really good. They sent out one truck which what we asked for and they did it extremely fast.

Our daughter & her husband have used these movers twice now. Once they moved them from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment (both on 2nd floors) and now just moved them from their apartment to their first home. Both moves were incredibly reasonable in cost and extremely efficient. The moving guys are professional, neat and punctual and the price they charge is more than fair. Please tip these young men well. They deserve it!

All Star Movers were teriffic, punctual and very professional. They called prior to arriving and were right on time and ready to work. They moved the furniture quickly and carefully, including some antique pieces. I liked the service so much I referred them to my mom to move some items from Indianapolis to Atlanta, GA.

My mom's move from St. Louis to Houston required 2 steps. First a few large pieces of furniture went to my brother in Kansas City. A few weeks later Matt and crew carefully packed Mom's stuff on Wednesday, arrived on Friday. Even drove her car! Everyone was pleasant, couteous and respectful. Very happy with the job.

I needed to move across town from my 2 bed room apt to a 3 bedroom house. Years ago, I had hired a moving company that stole my possessions and cheated me out of a lot of money. Therefore I was extra diligent in ensuring the movers I chose seemed reputable. The All-star moving team was late, however they called to warn me that they will be late. I was not under a tight deadline so it was not a problem. When the team arrived, they were very professional. Immediately I was asked about items I wanted moved and where I would like the items to be placed in my new location. Because of my awful experience that occurred with the previous moves, I carefully watched the movers. The moving team handled my possessions with care. Items were wrapped and cushioned. They moved everything quickly and without damage. When they delivered my furniture and boxes to the new location, they took the time to reassemble and place items in the rooms I desired. The moving team worked the entire time. I. I did not have any issues with the movers taking long breaks or performing any other way that made me feel that my money was being wasted. I was extremely satisfied and impressed with All-star movers. I had placed labels on everything to direct them for placement a the new house. The movers were professional. They moved everything quickly and without damage. I was extremely satisfied and impressed with All-star movers. I felt that I made a good decision in choosing All-star movers.

Matt and his crew were amazing. Matt was prompt and professional. He assessed our home and the size of the move, and gave us a very fair bid. We had 1 day for packing, and 1 day for the actual move. Unfortunately, on one of the days, he had a crew member with transportation problems that would have left us short-handed, but Matt himself stepped in and worked all day long. Everything was packed quickly and carefully--we didn't have a single thing broken, which is definitely a first in our moving history! His crew were friendly and quick, we enjoyed working with them. The day of the move also went well. This was a very smooth move for a great price, and Matt and his crew are just nice people! Definitely recommend them!

All Star Movining did our move on Dec. 21, 2012. We chose them since the owner matched the competitor's price and also promised that he would be present during the move to make sure everything was done right and that they are insured and contract said they would replace or repair damages during move. The day we moved, they arrived late but called me to tell me that they had some problem with their vehicle. They were nice people and hard working but they dropped our new chest, broke office table, caused cracks in few month's old expensive coffee table and file cabinet. They also broke the handle of a freezer and wheel of our ping pong table. They told us that it would be no trouble finding and replacing the handle and Justin knows a place...... they were not able to replace the handle of a very common brand (firigidair) freezer!! same thing thing with the wheel. Every time I call I got the response "we are looking for it......" to "would you except $50 for the wheel". The furniture that was repaird was RE-DELIVERED to us from the shop. When we received it, my wife noticed minor chipping on the chest and the table. Their response was "don't worry, Mat would send Tom to fix it". That day never came. I kept reminding the owner about two items left unresolved and he always told me "don't worry, I am working to find the wheel" and "Tom did not call you?" I will call him again".... last week I gave up on the ping pong table wheel (I am sure he expected that to happen) to $50 credit. I still expected them to fix the chipping on the furniture. Instead I got letter with the check saying that I don't have any more claims!! If I did not have claims then why in the world would you waste my time trying to stall! or just simply mislead me. I complained so owner called me and said "I am sick and tired of your list..... and we are not responsible......why don't you use cryons and fix those chips on the furniture"!! Here is my position, if you are asking me to use cryons, why did you not do it yourself when you came all the way to repair the freezer handle? I am happy to get it fixed on my expenses but if you break my furniture then you should be responsible to get it fixed, it is simple and straight forward. That is why you have alleged "insurance".

While the majority of my experience was "B" level, there was one aspect of the move that caused me to leave them a poor review. When I spoke to Cathy to get an estimate, I explained to her that I had commercial office furniture in my home office. During the move, I asked one of the movers if they were going to disassemble it, to which he indicated it wasn't necessary. While offloading one of my desks, one of the movers called for me to inspect one of my desks. One of the side pieces had broken where it mounted to the top of the desk. This apparently occurred during transport, or while they were moving the desk around on the truck. Not only did the movers neglect to offer to repair or replace it, but when I asked them to, one of the movers told me "it was coming out of [his] paycheck". It's unfortunate that the owner holds the movers responsible for items that are damaged, but that is not my concern and it was unprofessional for him to say that to me. One of the movers called the office/owner to tell them of the damage. I was informed that I'd receive a call that day (Friday), or on Monday. It is almost a week later now, and I've received no call. This desk was of vital importance to me, because I work from home and need this desk to hold a triple monitor stand. On Monday, I contacted the desk manufacturer and ordered replacement parts immediately. I was able to get the replacement parts faster than All Star Moving could simply call me. This desk almost cost (new) what I spent in moving, so perhaps that's why I still haven't gotten a call back.

Matt and Justin arrived on time, were very professional, and provided excellent service. I have been an Angie's List member for a year and a half and this was the very best selection I have made. I researched renting a small truck and hiring a couple movers on each end of the move. The rental plus paying for the movers would have been as much as I paid to have All-Star Moving handle the entire move and a lot less stressful.

Excellent. We were very happy with All-Star. Matt was good on the phone with making the arrangements, etc. We moved 2 days, one day out of storage units and one out of the house. Although the house had 21 steps to the front door and 3 stories above THAT, the guys were energetic and careful with all of our stuff. They were very good also with unloading it at the new place, following instructions on where to put everything. Pleasant to work with and reasonably priced, prompt, careful, professional and energetic. We will definitely use them next time.

Overall it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and use them again.

All Star correctly determined in advance that we had a large load, sent two trucks and five guys. They arrived on time, worked very quickly and efficiently. Everything was handled carefully, everything that needed protection was wrapped in moving blankets or otherwise protected. They unloaded and moved everything into the new house with the same care and efficiency, assembled everything that needed assembly. At the end of the move, they had us take ample time to make sure everything was done right and there was no damage. We have moved many times, and this was one of our best moving experiences.

Matt showed up 15 minutes early and began packing. When the remaining 4 members of the crew arrived (right on time) they went straight to work. The loading took approximately 6 hours. They took their lunch break while on the way to the new home and began unloading approximately 45 minutes after leaving the old home. The crew was very efficient and took extreme care with our belongings. They reassembled the bedroom furniture and moved any items that had been misplaced during the unload. During the move and the 2 subsequent trips for the haul away, we became acquainted with Matt and 5 different gentlemen. These individuals displayed the utmost respect for us and were eager to work hard and finish the jobs to our satisfaction. Although we know that the job ran over the estimated time, Matt stuck to the original estimate. Matt and his crews were very accommodating in every way possible and we are very pleased with the services we received. We would highly recommend All Star Moving for any moving job, large or small.

We had used All Star moving in the past and knew that was who we would use for this move after having a great experience the first time. The movers were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 10 in the morning, and they showed up 15 minutes early. They took a look through the apartment to make sure they knew what they needed to load and immediately began moving items into their truck. The process of moving things out of the apartment took the two men about two hours. At the townhome the men unloaded their truck and put everything where we asked them to without question. The unloading process took about two hours as well. The two men were very nice and professional. At the end of the service Matt, the owner, came in to meet us before they moved on to their next job. It was a great moving experience with their help.

Although the moving crew was punctual, the overall experience was not satisfactory. There was minor damage to some new bedroom furniture that was recently purchased, and they did not pad our grandfather clock. there was minor damge to a very expensive dining room china cabinet also. The bottom was chipped from being improperly placed on the truck lift. The crew was careless with some of the heavier items and caused some damage to the wall in the stairway when a dresser nearly fell on one of the laborers. I feel they should have removed the drawers on the heavy dresser, to lighten the loads from upstairs to the main level before loading on the truck. They also placed things such as steel patio furniture directly against the back of our living room sofa in the truck. I had to ask them to remove it. To be fair, it was 107 degrees that day & I'm sure they wanted to get this move over with. I will also say that I did not file a claim or contact the company because I had very little time to take photos, file claims & make calls to the moving company with all of the packing, unpacking and dealing with the mortgage & closing on the house we sold & bought. I still had to rent a moving truck for all of the things that were not moved that day. I will admit that I was unaware that they would not move lawnmowers and other miscellaneous items that could not be boxed. Again, I did not have time to read over the agreement before the move. I had limited time to make this move before returning to work. I regret not having more time to enlist a more reputable moving company because this was not an experience I would ever want to repeat.

I was very pleased with the movers, the price, the scheduling and would definitely call them again for large or small moves.

They arrived on time. There were three men and one truck as agreed upon. They put blankets on to protect furniture. They took apart some pieces and put back together at destination. One endtable glass top got broken. They took measurements and had a new piece of tempered glass made and delivered to my new home in a very timely manner. They did a great job and I would use them again. The work was completed in less than four hours.

It did not start off well with the packing. Matt's mother and girl friend showed up to pack and seemed to be doing a good job but they seemed to be rushing to get out of there as the day went on. At one point I mentioned to his girl friend about being sure not to forget the pots and pans in the drawer under the stove. She said she always looked there and not to worry. I also mention that they were not packing some things like a large box of unopened cereal, a large package of unopened plastic cups and a few others small things. She said they didn't need packing. At 3:30 they rushed out and said they were done and had to go pack somewhere else. After they left I found all the bathroom stuff they did not pack in both BRooms. Things like bowl brushes, small waste cans, rolls of toilet paper etc. In the entry hall large stack of CD's were left. The guys had to pack the rest of this stuff the next day. The next day loading the truck seemed to go ok, 4 of the 5 guys worked very hard. The 5th guy was an hr late and didn't move too fast. I had asked for some items to be shrink wrapped. They did some but not all. I'm hoping my dining room table survives since they did not wrap it. They loadrd the truck quickly and followed me to the storage place and unloaded the truck. I paid Nick and I left for another appointment but came back that evening with friends to clean the house. That is when we discovered ALL of my pots and pans in the drawer under the stove! My friend checked the basement and found some items they never took with them! They would not all fit in my car so I had to leave a large fan behind. I called Matt about the items left in the basement. He offered to get them and take to storage. I was leaving the next morning and didn't have time to wait. I praised the hard working 4 guys and mentioned the lazy guy. I did not tell him about the packing problems with his mother and girl friend. August 30, 12 days after the move to storage I tried calling Matt to set up the move to my new home in Arkansas. His mother, Kathy answered and said Matt was working a job out of town and she'd call him right away. I called her again a little latter and gave her my request for the move date I wanted. She said she hadn't called him but would right away. This was the A.M. and I heard nothing that day. I called again on Aug 31 and no one answered. Strange for a business. Then came Labor day weekend, so I again called on Tuesday Sept 3 and Matt answered. He said he had planned on calling me to tell me he was "Suspending all out of state moves immediately due to high volume in local moves" I said you are leaving me stranded here! He said" we had no contract" He was "giving me a chance to find someone else". I hung up on him before I said something I'd regret. I did find another company which cost me $1400 MORE than what he was charging. I guess you get what you pay for and with Matt this was very true. When I first talked with Matt about these moves, he said he did a lot of out of state moves. He may still be doing them and just didn't want my business. I want to warn other potential customers of the work ethics of All-Star Moving LLC--Beware.

They were amazing! The guys were pleasant, good-natured, professional and hard-working. They showed up on time, listened carefully as we showed them all of the pieces to be moved, and were very organized. We had them move many pieces of antique furniture - many very large and heavy. They wrapped and protected each piece efficiently and well. Everything arrived in good condition. This was our easiest move ever. We were very pleased and would definitely hire them again!

Movers came and loaded up all of our stuff and moved it to our new house. We had a lot and it was really hot but the guys were very professional and nice. They took great care loading and moving all of our items. I was very impressed! So much that I decided to write this review which I rarely do.

They worked very hard. During my neighbors move they went out of their way; gave 110%. I wasn’t there for my brothers move. I would call them again.
