Description of Work: Ice was forming in the bottom of the refrigerator and water was leaking out of the fridge and onto the floor. The tech diagnosed the problem and fixed it.

Description of Work: The oven on our Hotpoint gas range took forever to preheat and then wouldn't hold a temperature. Repairman diagnosed the problem and replaced the igniter. I had my doubts... thought it was more likely a thermostat or gas valve problem, but he was right. Five months now and the oven is still working the way it should.

Description of Work: The service person replaced the bake element in my electric stove oven. He looked at the type of element, retrieved a replacement from his truck, and installed the new element -- all within about 20 minutes. I appreciated that he knew how to disconnect electrical power to the stove without moving in out of its place in the kitchen or turning off overall power at the circuit breakers. I'd certainly use them again

Description of Work: The technician fixed a broken ice maker as well as fixed a blocked drain in the fridge which was causing ice buildup in the crisper. He needed to make two visits to obtain a part and so that we could turn off the fridge overnight. The technician was a great communicator, made a good and fast diagnosis. Work was done quickly, well, and I would not hesitate to call them again.

Description of Work: The technician, Ben, checked the washer completely looking for the overflow problem we had had. Turned out that it was over use of soap. I had been told this in the past & tried using less, but was never given a recommended amount. He told me to use 1 tablespoon of HE liquid soap per load & never more than 2 tablespoons. It has really helped me to know a specific amount.

Description of Work: My gas oven was not working - it would start, but not heat up. Intermittent - sometimes it would preheat, but mostly just stay warm. I called on Saturday, got an appointment the following Tuesday, when it was convenient for me. The guy called about 20 minutes ahead of time, came, checked it out, said it was a bad igniter (too little current). He had one in the truck. Because of the Angie's list coupon of "no service charge" I was charged $160 for parts and labor for the new igniter. Working great now. In half an hour total, it was fixed.

Description of Work: We called All American Appliance on Friday and a repairman came out on Saturday. He checked the refrigerator and told us what was wrong. He ordered the part and returned in six days to repair the refrigerator. He replaced the heater on the freezer and installed a filter that we asked for. He was courteous and worked quickly explained the work he was doing. The refrigerator works great. We would definitely use All American again.
