I made the appointment for Saturday (6/6) on Wednesday (6/3) for 1-3pm to have the dryer cord installed. They were supposed to bring the parts, and I get a call at 1:15 from the actual technician saying that no one told him that I needed the part, so he didn't go to the "part house" the day before. He said, oh, sometimes I have the part, sometimes I don't, and the part house is closed today. Call the office to reschedule for Monday (6/8). I call the office, and the office guy acts like it is no big deal, but oh- the first available appointment they have is maybe on Tuesday (6/9), but definitely Wednesday (6/10)- A full week after I initially called to make the appointment- and now another week without a stinking dryer. The kicker is that I was literally at Lowes this morning, and could have picked up the d*** part myself, had I known this was going to be an issue. This is my first time using this company, and after this headache, I will never call them again. As it is, I am going with someone else for this particular project.

Highly recommend this company! The man who repaired my washer and dryer was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. He knew right away what was wrong with my appliances. I appreciate that they don't charge a service charge if they do repairs and only $49.00 if they don't. I would definitely call them back again when needed!!!

For the ice maker, Ben figured it was the motherboard, which would cost about $350. And for the fridge icing up, he thought it could be the compressor pushing out too much freon. So the temporary solution is to defrost the fridge/freezer, turn it back on and see if the issue persists (then he would really know its the compressor and not just a glitch). No work was performed. And if its a compressor issue, the repair costs will outweigh the price of a new fridge.

Went great. Looked at the frige and said the defroster drain lines needed to be cleaned out. Leak fixed. Not sure what was wrong with dishwasher, but guy said it needed a valve. But after he worked on it a while, it quit leaking and valve wasn't needed.

So professional and considerate, called and had an appointment for the next day. Notified us when they were on the way, arrived on time, were fast and efficient, cleaning up as they went. Even taught us how to clean the dryer better so we would not have any more heating issues.

Service man arrived on time, diagnosed the problem very quickly - it was clear he had a lot of experience. He was polite, gave me the cost up front, performed the work and cleaned up - all in maybe 45 min at most. REALLY NICE TOUCH: he GAVE ME one of the company's stickers so that I could choose where to put it, instead of just slapping it onto my appliance. That extra thoughtfulness really impressed me, and I decided to put the sticker inside the fridge where I can see it, so I won't forget who fixed it for me & have to search again for a company that may not be quite so professional and courteous. Oh... and he was also very sweet to my rather enthusiastic little dog. Service like this is rare anymore - they deserve the great reputation they've developed here! They responded very quickly. I called them on Sunday. They were here the next day in the morning. They were at my house at 10:30 in the morning. I was really worried about my dryer and it was not that big of a deal. I would give A on everything. He was very, very professional. He was a really nice guy. He introduced himself as soon as he got here. He called me on his way.

The initial appointment was missed but the work was rescheduled for the next day. The technician arrived during the prescribed time and completed the work quickly. The technician was very professionsl and friendly.

Work complete, poor customer experience. I will not bring repeat business. I asked them to fix two appliances dishwasher and dryer. They did fix the dishwasher. The dryer they apparently just looked at, said it was a clogged dryer vent, and left...? More below, but I got charged for the second appliance in spite of their disinterest in actually fixing or telling me that they don't do that kind of work. Calling their office they would always give me this impression of wasting their time. Unfortunately I had to call back a few times because they had requirements with who they would coordinate with (I am landlord + they would only talk to the tenant?). When service was completed I called them to talk about the work and a coupon they suggested I ask for once work was completed. I explained to someone why I was calling, and they told me they would call back. They did not call back and instead charged me without discussing. Yeah, won't be coming back.

He showed up on time. He took the whole thing apart, fixed it and knew what he was doing. Very good service.

It went well, with the exception of obtaining the proper parts for the repair. Because of their supplier, work had to be rescheduled. If this hadn't happened, I would have given them an A.

They were reasonably friendly and came within the time frame they promised- about 5 hours after my call. I will use them again.

Service was fast and affordable - they arranged the repair directly with my tenant and took care of it quickly and professionally!

I'd been looking for a new appliance repair company since my previous one shut down. Several that I called said it would be a week or so before they could come. I tried one who was so busy answering his phone, while working on my appliance, that I just wasn't impressed and continued to search for a better company. All-American Appliance answered the phone quickly, said someone could be there the next day and asked sensible questions about the reason for my needing them. I was given a four hour window and told that the repairman would call before he came (which he did) but that if I did not answer the phone, he would simply assume no one was home and go to his next call. I was a little uncomfortable about that, but I didn't miss his call so no problem. The repairman (George) was prompt, friendly, courteous and professional. It was such a quick visit that the price seemed a little high, however, I don't know the cost of the part he replaced. I realize that this was not a difficult or complicated issue, but am pleased with All-American so far. I will certainly be calling them the next time I'm in need of appliance repair.

It was fine. He arrived on time. He explained what he was doing to me. Altogether a good experience.

My dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes. He came out the next day and called 20 min before arriving. I was at work so he called me and explained everything and the prices before starting. He had to clean the screen on it and it works perfectly now! The lady in the office was great also! Very nice! I would use again.

worker Jack was very professional. part had to be ordered. Came back the following week like he said replaced the part. Washer is working like new again. Very pleased will use this company again.

Repair man arrived within time frame stated and didn't waste any time getting to the repair. Within less than 20 minutes he diagnosed the problem, got the part, installed it, tested the oven and was ready to go.

Great People and Great Service. Arrived promptly when scheduled and repair was complete in no time.

It took three visits to fix problem, second visit had no purpose. They got the part in fairly quickly. Technician was very friendly.

George was very knowledgeable. Our ice maker had stopped making ice and we thought we needed a new one, (which we had from another refrigerator which hadn't been installed), but he said that may not be the problem. After pulling out the refrigerator, he determined that it needed a new valve, not a new ice maker. This had to be ordered which took several weeks, but when he returned he brought two different valves (the fridge was already 16 years old so new parts were not readily available) to make sure he had one which fit. He was careful in moving the fridge so as not to scratch the floor. He worked as quickly, yet carefully, as possible. After he left I noticed that the refrigerator door was not quite level and would swing wide open if not closed very tightly, something it had not done before. I called the office immediately but by this time he was already half way across town. He would have returned but it was already 5:30 p.m. and he was on his way to the next job. I said it wasn't an emergency, and he returned 8:00 a.m. the next morning to correct it.

It took almost three weeks for the part to arrive (which was not provider's fault...part had to be ordered from overseas and we were informed of this before agreeing to service), but once it did, they were out to replace it quickly. Technician was prompt both times he came to our house--called ahead of time to let us know when to expect him and then arrived within time period given. Technician was also generous with advice on a problem with a different appliance we were having that did not require a service call. I certainly hope I don't need any more appliance work soon (my appliances are less than two years old!), but if I do, I will definitely call on All American Appliance again.

Cold water stopped flowing from our washer on a Friday. I saw that All American had Saturday hours, so I called. They were already booked, but I got an appointment on the following Monday. The technician arrived and diagnosed a problem with the switch. He did not have the part, so had to order it. It was nice however that he was able to get the switch to work in the mean time. I was told the part would be in in 3-5 days. Didn't hear anything for 5 days, so I called. They said still not in. Didn't hear anything for another 3 days, so I called again. They said the technician had been ill and that they needed to get in touch with him. I got a call back a few hours later that they part was ready and I set an appointment. I don't blame the technician at all, but the company should have kept me in the loop on the status. The technician came and he replaced the switch but did not detect that, although it worked for 'cold' and 'hot' settings, now did not work for 'warm'. My wife discovered it about 30 mins after he left. I called back immediately and I was told after they investigated and called me back, that the earliest a technician could return was in 2 days. Washer was still usable, but more time consuming to get warm water as we had to fill half cold, then the rest hot. I'm frustrated that the problem with the warm water was missed by the technician. He came back out and diagnosed the obvious: the part was not correct. He had to order another one. It took several more days until it came in and he returned to install the correct part. All in all, the time from start to finish of this issue was around 2.5 weeks and entailed 4 visits. I rated the quality D because the wrong switch was installed and the issue was not detected. I rated the responsiveness D because I had to call several times to get a status -- All American did not contact me to update, and because it took so long to get the problem resolved.

The service person quickly identified the problem and ordered a part for repair, put everything back together in the interim and advised how to avoid the water leak until the new part came in.

Service rep appeared exactly at the time he said he'd arrive. After a few minutes reviewing the various sounds from the refridgerator he diagnosed a compressor going bad. He looked up replacement costs and recommended purchasing a new fridge instead of repairing our old one since the price would be about the same. He was polite & professional.
