Serviceman came out the following day. He checked the dryer and informed me that the coils needed to be replaced. Since the dryer is in good condition otherwise, I decided to go with his recommendation. I am very happy with the service!

All American Appliance was very prompt in sending someone out to look at our fridge and the gentleman was very timely and nice, however at the initial visit, he was uncertain as to if he could repair the fridge (mind you it is a quality fridge that is only 5 years old) and suggested that I may need to purchase a new one. He said he would call back that day with a quote to fix it. Over a week later, he called back and said that he could fix it and it would only be $200. The day that we scheduled for him to return and fix it, he starts taking it apart and says that there is a 50/50 chance that while fixing the leak, he may damage the coils, which would mean I would need a new fridge. Obviously, given that he was not confident in his ability to fix it without further damaging the unit, I declined the service. Very frustrated that this was how the company decided to handle this problem. I will definitely be getting a second opinion. Just feel like I was scammed out of the $59 for the service call. I will not use this company again and will not recommend them to others. I've relied on Angie's list for other services since moving to the area and this is the first one that has been a disappointment.

The repairman came to our home and took a quick look at the ice maker. He didn't examine it closely or delve into its mechanics. He said that typically this type of issue means the water line needs a new tap - a repair a handyman or plumber would need to do. I was a bit disappointed he didn't delve into the problem further just to be sure. This quick call fora different type of professional (plumber of handyman) could have been told to me over the phone. He said if that didn't work, to give them a call and he would come out and repair it with no second service charge - just a charge for the work to be done. This offer really left me with a great opinion of the company. It was a couple months before we had enough tasks to warrant a handyman visit. When he looked at the line and the tap, he determined it wasn't the issue. It took me a few more months to find the time to call All American back to take them up on the repairman's offer. When I called the company back, they refused to honor their serviceman's word instead stating that service calls are only good for 30 days. Their paperwork states that there is a 30 day warranty on a service charge; 100 days on parts and labor. However, I didn't read that to mean a repairman's word is only good for 30 days. I will fully acknowledge it took me almost six months to call, but that delay doesn't impact the work that needs to be done. Their strict adherence to this "warranty" rule, the terse tone of their call center person and the fact the repairman didn't actually do anything more on his visit that couldn't have been done over the phone, leaves me calling a different provider.

Never showed up for appointment. Rescheduled. Didn't show up again.

They couldn't complete the work, but made a full refund

I’ve used these guys several times (refrigerator, dryer, washing machine) – they punctual, courteous, and professional. They don’t recommend unnecessary repairs and work with you to get make the repair that suites your needs.

It went great. He showed up at the agreed-to time, was nice, competent, and reasonable. Very grateful.

They found something in the bottom of it. They only charged a service charge which is good for 30 days.

They had very good communication, and the worker was courteous and pleasant. He checked out my fridge and said I had to get a new fan. I called them back to let them know the ice-maker was still not working and they came back out. At that point, I was told the compressor was shot and I needed a new refrigerator. Ultimately, the took back the fan and only charged me only $56 for the diagnostic, and left me with a messy floor. I give everything an A rating except for the mess he left, which was slightly inconvenient in my condition.

He was friendly, helpful and explained anything I asked.

It was great the man was on time, polite, my wife was home and side he was all too kind and she felt safe. The guy had to come 2x once to diagnose the issue and order the pert the second time was to fix the issue. he also notices the water dispense was flowing slow so he replaces the o ring free of charge while he was waiting for the ice make to make ice. We even called them a few days later to fix our Washer when it stopped working for some reason as well.

This was the third time that I have used All American Appliance Service. Scheduling was fast and easy. The technician, John, was on-time, courteous and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad water inlet valve in our dishwasher, and had the parts on his truck to make the repair. I would definitely recommend All American Appliance Service to other Angie's List members.

Provider was able to accommodate our schedule, performed the repair in a timely and professional manner. Overall it was a great experience.

Job well done. Our Sub-Zero refrigerator was showing error messages and we called All American after reading reviews. We called on the weekend before Christmas and had an appointment on Tuesday. Jon - the tech - was great. He quickly ascertained the problem and explained it - coils in the back were leaking. Since parts had to be ordered, we had to wait the next week for the repair. We were nervous about getting through the Holiday, but Jon said he thought we would be fine. Thankfully, we made it through the Holiday and Jon returned to perform the repair. He was on time and once again took the time to explain things as needed. The process couldn't have gone smoother and we would recommend again.

He was thorough and professional! had to get a part and returned the same day to finish the job. It turned out that it was not exactly the problem so he did not charge us for what he didn't use. It turned out to be something that was covered in a maintenance visit so that saved us at least $100. I would use this service again in a heartbeat!

Technician came to our house and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. Unfortunately (as feared), it would cost just as much to repair as it would be a new washer. Technician was very nice and would definitely use again for any other service.

I called to have a washer and dryer repaired. The dryer was having issues with the control panel and the washer was not emptying out the fabric softener. People in the office were nice. They helped me schedule the repair. The repairman was nice and called before he came. He did show up in the promised window of time. The repairman diagnosed the problem with the dryer. He was able to get the control panel working again. He suggested that I use it until it stopped working again and then they could order a new panel. I thought that was a good suggestion, it save me money on the part and we would know what to order when it finally stops working. He looked at the washer and said that it needed a new part. He was able to order the part on his smart phone. I thought that was great. He said that he would have the part the following day and helped me schedule the repair. He came back the next day and installed the new part. The part that he installed was defective. That is not their fault and I don?t blame them for that. I had to have them come back out and take a look at the washer, they came out on 10/17/15, and the only solution was to order a new part and come back out and install it. They told me they would call when the part came in and we could schedule the repair at that time. I called the office on 10/23/15 to see if the part had come in. They said they would have to check. I did not hear anything back from them until 10/28/15 when they left a message on my answering machine. I called them back and scheduled the repair. They said that they made several attempts to contact me to let me know that the part was in. I only had one message on the answering machine, so they may have called, but left no message. I don?t want to get into any type of argument about if they called or not, but I do think that is their responsibility to make sure they follow up with the customer. I was able to schedule the repair. The repairman got to the house; he forgot the part and had to go back to his house to get it. He came back an hour and a half later. He was very nice and installed the new part. The washer does seem to be working, but their follow up was not very good. I would only give them a C. There are too many other companies out there that had ratings as good as theirs to have to put up with that kind of service. Wanted to come back and update this review. The owner did contact me to follow up. I think that this shows he is concerned with what his customers think.

Great...I left an email via Angie's List and they contacted me right away....had an appointment to fit my schedule (a Saturday appointment no less!!!) and came right out...got to it and fixed it. The service man was a nice guy, knew exactly what the issue was fixed it and that was that. Great customer service.

Their website said there was no charge for estimates, but they charged me when they came out.

I couldn't have been happier. I was very pleased. I would use them again.

Service guy called saying he could come earlier and we worked out a time. Very punctual and professional. Took just a few minutes to assess the problem, and took his time is repair. Also looked at my dryer for free - showed me there was no problem. Charged only the minimum. I was very impressed.

When the technician came out he was unable to give me price on parts because it was late in the day, after not hearing back i contacted the office and left a message, the owner of the company responded back to me, he was very apologetic about not receiving a response from the technician, he offered to take care of the situation as well as offered to refund the money for the service call which I thought was very considerate and profession of him, I would definitely use this company again as well as refer to others.

I made the appointment for Saturday (6/6) on Wednesday (6/3) for 1-3pm to have the dryer cord installed. They were supposed to bring the parts, and I get a call at 1:15 from the actual technician saying that no one told him that I needed the part, so he didn't go to the "part house" the day before. He said, oh, sometimes I have the part, sometimes I don't, and the part house is closed today. Call the office to reschedule for Monday (6/8). I call the office, and the office guy acts like it is no big deal, but oh- the first available appointment they have is maybe on Tuesday (6/9), but definitely Wednesday (6/10)- A full week after I initially called to make the appointment- and now another week without a stinking dryer. The kicker is that I was literally at Lowes this morning, and could have picked up the d*** part myself, had I known this was going to be an issue. This is my first time using this company, and after this headache, I will never call them again. As it is, I am going with someone else for this particular project.
