It went very well. The installer got a later than expected start, but did call in advance that morning to provide notification of running late. As a result, the work went a little later than expected. But the quality of the work was excellent. The installer listened to my concerns regarding some of the details, and accommodated with adjustments. The installer was very professional. The owner, Mark, was great to work with.
Description of Work: Mitigated radon presence in basement. Ran pipe from basement, through sill to garage, up through attic and out through roof. Installer fan, sealed around each pipe transition and on the roof.

Mark was great to work with. He not only gave us a great price but was also willing to accept payment at closing.
Description of Work: We sold my mothers home but the radon level was 4.1 and needed to be repaired. I called several companies since we needed to pay at closing and Mark Engel was willing to accommodate.

Advanced Radon Control went beyond ?above-and-beyond?, and I would recommend them to anyone. Mark encountered two challenges in the work, and problem-solved both of them. First, he said there was a possibility we might need a more expensive higher pressure fan than usual---and even though I authorized the extra expense, he ran some tests there to show it wasn?t necessary and didn?t charge the higher price. Second, he had a hard time finding an electrical source for the radon system, and it took him hours to open ceiling panels and connect into wiring. In both cases, he was cheerful about it but could easily have made the problem my problem. Beyond that, Mark was friendly and a joy to speak with, giving me a lot of helpful advice about the upcoming renovations more generally.
