We had written agreements as to what was supposed to have been done. Somehow when he ran the test he said that everything was fine, but they didn’t run the gas line upstairs to our stove. This was supposed to have been done over the summer. We called him later and told him that the stove is not working and he came over to see what’s going on. My understanding was that there was a mistake initially made and they were coming in to correct it, but when he handed me a bill for $237.50 I was confused. He was supposed to be coming back to complete work that he was already paid for and I refused to pay him. He then became irate and started yelling at me, calling me names and saying "I always get paid. You are going to pay me."

Everything went well, and they did a good job with the inspection.

I typically would not give ALL excellent ratings but this truly deserves it! My a/c stopped working on a Sunday morning when the temp was 100+ degrees... I was so stressed, thinking I would have to find somewhere for me and my dog to stay Sunday night and then have to take off work on Monday so they could send someone to fix my a/c but the guy came over within a few hours that same day. He said there was a freon leak and even asked me if I wanted to come look and see the leak for myself. He fixed the leak and filled the freon. He also told me that I should be cleaning the a/c unit itself periodically to avoid any problems and he went ahead and cleaned it for me. I had no idea about a/c maintenance! He was so helpful and polite and really took the time to make sure my a/c was in perfect working condition before he left. Acme services even called and followed up with me the next day to thank me for my business and make sure everything was still working properly. They made what I thought was going to be a HUGE headache into a minor hiccup in my day!
