Description of Work: Asked Ace to evaluate back yard drainage problem. Owner and I walked the property, discussing alternatives. Owner was very conscious of cost and offered alternatives but generally recommended lowest of cost alternatives. Good guy, very professional. Plan to have him do work.

Description of Work: No work performed. I called ACE to come out for an estimate (I specified ESTIMATE), luckily I was here when they came because they were about to start working when I informed them I had only asked for an estimate. I was then informed of the price by Casey(?) and asked if they should start work immediately. I told him that I was only looking for estimates and would get back to him; he was furious! He said he wouldn't have come out if he'd known I wouldn't want the work done immediately, and when I asked what would be the point of gathering estimates he informed me that 99% of his customers get work done immediately after he gives an estimate. I told him sorry, but that's not the way I do business; totally unprofessional and unrealistic. I had called him because of his good reviews on Angie's List and was completely taken aback by his bad attitude; would never call him for anything again.

Description of Work: They did a great job. Called back same day, made an appointment at agreed upon time, arrived 5 minutes early, did the job quickly, cleaned up after themselves, and even gave us advise as how to fix related problem that we will no doubt follow. I most certainly will call them again as well as refer to others. Thanks, Angie! Our first experience was a good one! (:)

Description of Work: THIS COMPANY CLEANED THE GUTTERS ON MY 1, AND A HALF STORY HOUSE, AND A DETACHED CARPORT, AND TRIMMED SOME BRANCHES OVERHANGING THE GUTTERS. THEY REPLACED 2 DOWNSPOUTS WHICH WERE CLOGGED, CRACKED, AND LEAKING. THEY DID NOT REMOVE THE OLD DOWNSPOUTS UNTIL I NEGOTIATED THEIR REMOVAL AT A SMALL ADDITIONAL COST. THEY DID NOT REMOVE THE DOWNED BRANCHES.

HE PERFORMED THE WORK AND WAS ALSO VERY HELPFUL IN LOCATING A LEAK PROBLEM I HAD - WHICH DID NOT GET HIM ADDITIONAL WORK. OVERALL I WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH HIS PERFORMANCE AND WOULD GLADLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE I KNOW.

HE WAS AVAILABLE TO ANSWER ALL OF MY QUESTIONS BY PHONE, AND HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THOROUGHLY. HE UNDERSTOOD THAT WE WERE WORKING UNDER FINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS AND HELPED US FIGURE OUT A MAINTENANCE PLAN THAT WOULD BE EFFECTIVE AND AFFORDABLE. UNLIKE OTHER COMPANIES, HE DID NOT TRY TO SELL US NEW GUTTERS, AND HIS BID WAS THE LOWEST WE RECEIVED.
