 + -1 moreThey're good but are a little pricey compared to other stores. I had back surgery and I was having a problem walking so I quit going to the big store because you need a scooter to get around, and they don't have people right there to help you and Ace Hardware does. That is the attraction of Ace Hardware. The price is a little high for some things. If you want to buy light fixtures or something like that you wouldn't go there, but little hardware things like nails and screws are fine. My dog likes to go, they give him treats when he goes. You can get things cheaper at the big store if you want to walk around there. They have people there, I mean you have to get them out of your way from helping you. They are very helpful. You pay for the convenience.

Description of Work: They repaired window screens for me. They did a great job. I highly recommend that anyone who needs a repair on a window screen to go there. They had it done before they said it would be done. They got me in and out quickly. I had about 10 screens that they needed to repair.

 + -1 moreI brought my old license plates into the hardware store, & asked for screws to fasten the new ones on because the old screws were rusted. The salesman said he'd have to come out to see the old ones to know what I needed. The rusted screws had frozen, so he had to get a pliers to get the screws loosened. This took a lot of work...I wouldn't have been able to do it myself. He then put on both license plates with stainless steel screws, so no rust. All for $3.13 Ace Hardware advertises "The helpful place"...it certainly is!
Description of Work: Removed my car license plates & put on the new ones.
